This playground was recommended by my son's chiro's office. Just as a place to go, nothing chiro…read morespecial about it. There is a lot of large equipment, but not a whole lot of variety or imagination in the different interactive functions. Reeves Park's playground (Phoenixville), Smith Memorial Playground (Fairmount Park), Freedom Playground (Haverford), and Aston Twp's new playground all have really imaginitive stuff, and just as large of an expanse (if not larger). I also have to give props to the Reeves Park and Freedom playgrounds for being fenced in (Smith is, but it's so big, the fence is not as containing as it could be). Kids Dream is not fenced, unfortunately, because it is a layer of safety I always appreciate, for young kids who run, and also just to keep out wandering dogs (the ones on a long leash whose caretakers aren't paying attention) or to dissuade sketchy people from hanging around (sorry but they're everywhere). There is a nearby walking trail, and it's also adjacent to township offices (shared parking lot). I do have to comment that there was a bit of litter generally around, which is never okay for a kids' playground. Also, this playground is pretty crowded. Parents seemed adequately considerate, but honestly, all the abovementioned playgrounds had a better vibe to me. Maybe because this place was built up by my recommendation and the reviews, but it wasn't as great as my expectations (and comparative experiences).

Fantastic playground!! Huge plenty of options of what to play on. Love it! Will be back for sure…read more Not far from the shopping areas. Conveniently located.

I have to tell myself this because I really wanted to rate them a 1. At the time of this review, I have placed the Yelp marker right on the spot where this place is located, since it does not have an official street address. It is basically on 45/Salem Woodstown Rd between Compromise Rd and the river? tributary? (this is unnamed on Google maps) whatever body of water comes up next (before you hit Acton Station Rd). I was in search of the Salem River Wildlife Management Area, but they provide specific directions on their website for this Mannington Marsh place, which is a long dirt-sand road to a lookout ramp and platform in the marsh. Why would it be 1 star? There is trash EVERYWHERE. Ew! I didn't want my toddler or dogs getting out of the car, it was gross! And it was random creepy trash too, like thrift store donations or stuff a homeless person didn't want and left behind after camping. This place needs to be cleaned up. Yuk! Also, the observation ramp and platform were completely vandalized, with a lot of the spindles kicked out. It's totally unsafe for kids and dogs, so I was out of my mind worrying about their safety. And, I love graffiti. I have made art pieces of graffiti, bathroom style graffiti, no less. But the stuff written on this platform made me terrified my kid would get an STI from touching it. I am shivering from the memory! Signage is only visible from one direction, so if you approach from the NE (like I did) good luck seeing where they are (especially since they have no address and you can't plug that into your GPS). What else? The platform was not built high enough to rise above the reeds, so you can't see anything from the lookout! Ridiculous! The dirt road has huge dips that fill with water, and create miserable driving if you don't have an SUV or truck. Very frustrating. And there are no trails, clearings, picnic areas, restrooms, nor even a trash can. So this is a painful journey just to go up a ramp and not be able to see anything but marsh flora. I could hear spectacular bird sounds, which made it even more exasperating that I couldn't see them. Way up in the sky, I could see a gigantic flock passing over (they were too far to ID the type of bird), and that was cool, but the birds hooting like 30 feet in front of me, I couldn't see. Seriously, this place has a lot of issues, and I wish I'd known before I made an hour's detour on my way home from the beach, and upset my kid and dogs. I was hoping for a park-like habitat with trails and acres to roam. This is not it! You've been warned!

Wow - it's not often that you can find totally free kayaking these days! We walked up, filled out a…read morewaiver, got our life jackets, and we were on the water within 5 minutes! We paddled out into the lily pad area that had a clear spot to go through. We saw lots of turtles and a few beaver dams (didn't spot the beavers though). There were sooo many pretty blue dragonflies that liked to land on our boat and sometimes us! We also saw some floating snail shells in the water. Our paddle took about an hour, and they allow you to borrow the kayaks up to 2 hours. After our paddle we checked out the playground for a bit. It was perfect for our 4 year old. It has 4 big kid swings and 2 baby swings and areas for the both the bigger kids and little ones.

As much as I love going out on the lake and kayaking, this is not appropriate for little kids. The…read moreplayground is so unsanitized and it's so dirty. I mean, I get it surrounded by a bunch of sand and a lake and trees, but that doesn't excuse it. The bathroom is locked most of the time and after 7 PM the bathroom is locked for the whole night so you have to do a little tinkle out in the pond. It is gross I know, right? So my little ones like to run around the playground and they're the right age for it but sometimes things get broken and it shuts down and my husband he goes out kayaking and then my wife goes out partying at the nightclub so my little kiddos, they like to run wild on the thing and I don't know how this can slide but it's very small and no after they turned one year older they're not gonna like this place mark my words. I love going kayaking at this place and my whole family does but Thing is I don't really like going on the playground so small. I broke my neck here once and the grass is so brown. I don't even know how to believe it. So that's all I have to say after I broke my neck here I came kayaking and I fell into the sewer, but it's OK. I got myself out with the crew rescue teams and then the wildfires happened and then it was a very tragic day, but I'm not gonna talk about it because I don't wanna cry again. Oh my God don't cry don't cry don't cry cry let it all out. That was my husband by the way and my wife. They're the same person. They transitioned a few years ago, so they were a girl and now their husband, but I don't even know what to say my kiddo my kiddos they love this place, but not for long because I'm gonna mark their words out of here. Here's a picture of my broken neck injury. I hope you guys can take this into consideration before coming here because this place is wonderful masterful but I just don't know how much I can trust the employees anymore not there is any employees which is also a red flag there's no employees and who would have their birthday party here. I saw someone having a birthday party here earlier and it was gross and disgusting. It makes my skin boil. I don't know why anyone would have a birthday party here it's really boring, but I feel like if you had a few more attractions like maybe a Ferris wheel or a waterslide or maybe a roller coaster I could maybe come here a little more often and get you guys more money thank you. Please take into consideration my review and please accept this token of a accomplishment. You guys have done well.
