Showers are rusty and grimy. Never toilet paper or paper towels in Women's restroom. Yuck.

Needs more maintenance in the bath houses. Toilets are stained and everything is rusty.

the camp site itself was great!

Came here to try camping! The site we were at (049) was VERY large and private but right off the entrance road. The biggest problem here was we came after work on Friday so by the time we arrived the store was closed and we couldn't purchase firewood on site. I would recommend bringing firewood if you plan to arrive after 5pm on a Friday. Hiking here was pretty easy if you stay on the main trail but we went off onto some smaller marked trails and got COVERED in ticks. Other thing is we brought our dog so we couldn't check out the beach. This is an okay place to camp but I probably won't be back. It was kind of expensive not being an NJ resident.

This place is beautiful no matter what time of year you go, plenty of walking trails, camping spots, playground, and swimming spots. Perfect place to tucker your pup out too!

A cool park situated in the Pinelands. I might even be persuaded to go close to 5 stars if not for the fees. The $2 per person beach fee is not bad to be honest, but I'm not sure why there needs to be launch fees and others. Canoe and kayak rental is a plus, but again at higher than normal rates for a small lake. Snack bar was priced as you might have expected too. But really, just pack your own and enjoy the fresh air. We walked a part of the free trail that skirts around the lake. Cabins are located here and at $50 a night seem like an inexpensive family overnight trip. These are situated overlooking a smaller body of water, there are grills outside and a small kitchen as well. Showers were available on the swimming beach, not sure if in cabins. I will definitely return this summer for more piney fun.

I hadn't been to Parvin State Park in about 10 years and we decided to go instead of the shore on this special occasion rare Monday off. I'm so glad we went and think this will be a new 'go to' for us, especially when not wanting to spend extra on gas, spending $ and time trekking to my beloved Ocean City. Route 55 South all the way for us - boom - there in under a half hour! The parking is great and puts you directly across from the awesome lake and 'beach.' It's only $2/pp to enter. You can literally spend your whole day here sunning and swimming. Just pack your sun block, some towels & a nice lunch b/c they only have a snack stand w/ junkie foods (for the most part). My kids had a great time in the lake - mainly goofing off and playing w/ the baby catfish. (they were super cute!). Lifeguards were on duty and on point. There are restrooms, showers/changing areas BUT no where for your trash?! What you take in, you take out. Probably the only negative from me for this sweet little place. There are also nice trails to walk through that are dog friendly. We checked out the cabins and may rent one later in the summer. This is my kind of camping - indoor facilities and a stove, etc. $50/night from what we saw. Of course the website has the full details. We're all looking forward to going back and soon!

Where should I start.....?? I guess I better start by being honest... Yeah. That's where I'll begin. I had some pretty good memories of being brought here as a kid... It was a whole day of swimming in the lake and cooking out. Well, maybe deciding to come here with my 9 year old was made by looking through kid glasses... There's actually a lot to enjoy at this park... There's plenty of space and shaded areas with grills already there. I saw quite a few groups with parties setup. There's a lot of hiking trails, and there are canoe and kayak rentals. One guy told me the canoe rental was about $40 for the whole day... Not a bad deal. I'd suggest bringing whatever you're going to eat, drink, suntan lotion, goggles, etc... The concession stand seemed a little on the expensive side. Entry into the lake is $2 per person. There's a sign (that's if you're into reading) that states whatever trash you bring, take it with you.... I'm thinking to myself, that's an odd sign... Then I realized that there weren't any trash cans in sight!! The water... the water.... We stepped into this lake, and the last things that it could be described as is clear... I'd say that it was murky... But what puzzled me was what was being called seaweed... Seriously, it looked like hair and a lot of lost weave floating in this water... I've been around a lot of seaweed before.. but I've never seen sea-weave like this before in my life!! Would I go back... Yes. Not to swim, because we were filthy when we got out of the water.. But I would go back to picnic, setup my chairs and umbrellas on this beach, use the hiking trails, and rent a canoe.... I think the park is well maintained. But that lake isn't anything that I want anyone to say that my review led them there to swim in....

About 4 feet deep at most. Still get whistle blown if children are kneeling.

Waaaay too many rules, lifeguards really killing the fun. The kids can't even play with floats or touch algae floating around them without getting a whistle blown.

    Snow running!

This playground was recommended by my son's chiro's office. Just as a place to go, nothing chiro…read morespecial about it. There is a lot of large equipment, but not a whole lot of variety or imagination in the different interactive functions. Reeves Park's playground (Phoenixville), Smith Memorial Playground (Fairmount Park), Freedom Playground (Haverford), and Aston Twp's new playground all have really imaginitive stuff, and just as large of an expanse (if not larger). I also have to give props to the Reeves Park and Freedom playgrounds for being fenced in (Smith is, but it's so big, the fence is not as containing as it could be). Kids Dream is not fenced, unfortunately, because it is a layer of safety I always appreciate, for young kids who run, and also just to keep out wandering dogs (the ones on a long leash whose caretakers aren't paying attention) or to dissuade sketchy people from hanging around (sorry but they're everywhere). There is a nearby walking trail, and it's also adjacent to township offices (shared parking lot). I do have to comment that there was a bit of litter generally around, which is never okay for a kids' playground. Also, this playground is pretty crowded. Parents seemed adequately considerate, but honestly, all the abovementioned playgrounds had a better vibe to me. Maybe because this place was built up by my recommendation and the reviews, but it wasn't as great as my expectations (and comparative experiences).

Fantastic playground!! Huge plenty of options of what to play on. Love it! Will be back for sure…read more Not far from the shopping areas. Conveniently located.

You don't know what you don't know and for the last four and a half years I had no idea this park…read morewas here. I don't recall how I stumbled upon it, but ever since then when I work down in Logan Township, all I can talk about is this park. I didn't take many pictures as it was raining and I typically don't like running with anything in my hands, much less a phone. I'm a purist, so no phone, no ear buds, just me and the pavement. So if you haven't guessed it, I love running in this park. If you are a runner, jogger, walker, whatever - they have space for you. They have marked miles so if you don't wear a tracker you will still know exactly how far you have gone. They have something for everyone... you want fields? They have so many, softball, baseball, soccer, field hockey and basketball courts. And they have multiples of each, so if someone is using a field you want, no worries they have others. This park is huge, but it is also clean and well maintained - you will be able to tell immediately that this is an affluent community. Each of the times I have come here to go for a run, there were parents with their little peewee football kids practicing. There were dads teaching their daughters to catch a baseball, there were grandparents walking babies in strollers, there were moms with tykes in the playground designated for little kids. There were joggers like me, there were lovers strolling by and holding hands, there were people of all ages and sizes walking and enjoying this beautiful park. I hope it stays like this forever, it is a jewel in this community and everytime I visit Logan Township, I will be visiting this park for a run.
