We were celebrating my daughter and a couple of her friends recently turning 21 and came with a small group in the evening. They have a cozy nook near the restroom with a couch and some comfy chairs. We settled in and everyone got their drink order in. Their service is always great and the bar tenders know what they are doing. I chose the Espressyo-self, a drink made with Family Jones Vodka, Borghetti Espresso Liqueur and fresh espresso. It was delicious. I would get that one again. Went here with a girlfriend for HH - what a great HH find in Old Town! They had a bunch of deliciously crafted cocktails for $7-$9, including a cocktail of the month, which is what I had. It was called Buzzed Bunny (hilarious) - a Branch and Barrel honey bourbon, carrot juice, mango syrup, lemon juice and tiki bitters. Delicious! My friend got the Marmalade Margarita and seemed to enjoy it, made a comment it was a touch sweet from the seasonal marmalade. Everything I have tried has been well balanced and tasty. - Seevice: Staff are awesome and are attentive. Was a cute a little spot! Entrance is in the alley, there is a sign and so it's not too difficult to find. Once you enter, you'll immediately see the bar on the lower level. There are several two seat spots available as well as a couch area in the back. They do some great happy hour specials. When I went, it was buy one get one signature cocktail which you can share with someone else. Cocktails are beautifully prepared and they have their own take on the drink. Had a great time here for our witches night out. Cute space with lots of tables. We had 15 of us and were able to stand near the entrance at a high top. Great drinks. We especially liked the 11:11 but also love that they have bartenders choice on the menu! Can't wait to come back next year and make this an annual gathering. We happen to be in Old Town Arvada tackling some errands and couldn't not stop in, based on the Yelp pics and reviews. This is, by far, how we find all of our go to places, lol. Marmalade is a hidden gem for sure but has a fairly large "here we are" sign to direct you to the entrance. Yep, you will be in an alley - you're right on track. Once we found the entrance, it was literally like walking into another world. Marmalade has such a fabulous, cozy vibe. I was so enamored with the light, breezy decor and the greenery all around. I immediately wanted to stay a long while. We ordered a few cocktails and had some great conversations with the bartenders. They are super friendly, attentive and shared some fun stories about Marmalade. Who knew this lounge is also connected to a boutique right above? How very cool. We met a woman who walked down to grab a drink before getting a hair cut. Score! And yes, you know I made a mental note, haha. Back to the cocktails - these are craft cocktails. Watching them make them was so very fascinating. There is attention to even the smallest of details and the cocktails themselves are packed with flavor - easy drinking. I couldn't not order the Marmalade Marg and man, did I want 3 more. Alas, we had many more errands to run - which just means we'll be back! Def go but go AFTER you tackle your errands :) read more

I heard about Marmalade from an acquaintance. What a hidden gem in Old Town Arvada. Hidden a bit in the alley, though there is clear signage. Though in a basement/ lower level it feels bright and airy with a touch of modern elegance. We arrive on a Saturday around 6pm and easily got a table for 4. There was only one waitress for the tables and one working the bar as well as making drinks so, it took a while to get a drink. It's best to order another when your halfway through your first. The waitress was very attentive to coming by regularly to take our drink orders. The Winter in Sicily was by far the best drink I had. My husband and our friend really enjoyed the Old Fashioned. I don't drink Gin so they did accommodate by making one of my drinks with vodka. I would definitely go back to try a few other drinks that sounded interesting. read more

What a wonderful little hidden gem. By hidden I do mean literally. This lovely lounge is hidden behind Clementines hair salon on Olde Wadsworth in Olde Town Arvada, walk to the alley and there you'll see the signs for this cute spot. As a born and bred Arvada native I can say that this is a great addition to the area and one that I am overly excited about. A gal I went to high school manages the boutique part of Marmalade Lounge and I was beyond excited to stumble upon them via her Instagram page. I was even more excited when I came in with my husband to see it's even more amazing in person. The bar and lounge is beautifully decorated with a very clean boho aesthetic. The cocktails are also made with gorgeous detail and the prices are not outrageous. I mean the place even smells like heaven. The boutique goods are fun and eclectic and my little one walked away with the cutest felt dinosaur ornament. This is a must see spot in Arvada!!! I am a huge fan and I plan on coming back over and over again. Cheers to this amazing spot! read more

Went here last night with 2 friends and we had one of the best nights ever! Drinks were incredible, bartender Katie Lynn is truly talented. The place is gorgeous, comfortable and so very friendly. Our night turned into impromptu karaoke, and a dance party, and the staff was right there with us enjoying the atmosphere while still being professional. Highly recommend this place! Also, they are open past 8:00 so ignore what it says on their Google business page! Make your way around back to the alley and you'll see the doors and the sign and prepare for a fun and chill night with excellent cocktails! read more

I'm not usually one to write a bad review in the heat of the moment. For context, I am 7 months pregnant. It's very visible. My friend and I walked in and no one else was there. We skipped right over all the cocktails to the "non boozy things" and ordered the "Carrot Ginger Mule". As we checked out we asked about the price because it was MUCH higher than we expected and I had to specifically say "that's listed at $7 on the menu" and that's when it clicked that there is apparently a cocktail with a very similar name and rather than clarify, he gave us the alcoholic version. We were then told "well you have to specify you want it non-alcoholic". Here's where I'm angry. When you search "mocktails in Arvada" this is the first place that pops up. No where on the menu does it say that you need to specify you are ordering from the non boozy side or you run the risk of being served alcohol. If you are going to market yourself as a place with non alcoholic options, there should be no risk of thinking you are ordering a mocktail only to be handed alcohol. If there is an item on the menu that could be confusing, your servers NEED to clarify. Not just for pregnant women but for folks recovering from alcoholism, or any other of a large list of potential health reasons. UPDATE: I have since spoken with Dani and while I won't change my rating, she did what she could to rectify and apologized on behalf of the bartender that night. I'm hopeful that our conversation leads to a discussion around the way the menu is built or to encourage staff to double check when an NA and a boozy option are available for the same drink. read more

We had been wanting to try this place for a while due to the great reviews and location, but were absolutely disappointed by it. The service was slow (even though the place wasn't busy) and drinks were below average/far overpriced. I had the cocktail of the month, which contained tomato infused tequila. Unfortunately, it ended up just tasting like a V8. Finally, the acoustics made everything echo so the few people sitting in the room completely drowned out the music above. 2 stars purely for the aesthetic. read more
