    About Damn Thyme cocktail

This little place is tucked away behind a salon. They have a back entrance in the alley. - Drinks: thier Drinks are great! Everything I have tried has been well balanced and tasty. - Seevice: Staff are awesome and are attentive. This place can get quite full and service can lag a bit since every drink is mixed and shaken by hand. It's worth the wait when it does happen!

Was a cute a little spot! Entrance is in the alley, there is a sign and so it's not too difficult to find. Once you enter, you'll immediately see the bar on the lower level. There are several two seat spots available as well as a couch area in the back. They do some great happy hour specials. When I went, it was buy one get one signature cocktail which you can share with someone else. Cocktails are beautifully prepared and they have their own take on the drink. Be a perfect date or girls night for sure.

Had a great time here for our witches night out. Cute space with lots of tables. We had 15 of us and were able to stand near the entrance at a high top. Great drinks. We especially liked the 11:11 but also love that they have bartenders choice on the menu! Can't wait to come back next year and make this an annual gathering. In the meantime we will be excited to check out more of the menu on another night out.

We happen to be in Old Town Arvada tackling some errands and couldn't not stop in, based on the Yelp pics and reviews. This is, by far, how we find all of our go to places, lol. Marmalade is a hidden gem for sure but has a fairly large "here we are" sign to direct you to the entrance. Yep, you will be in an alley - you're right on track. Once we found the entrance, it was literally like walking into another world. Marmalade has such a fabulous, cozy vibe. I was so enamored with the light, breezy decor and the greenery all around. I immediately wanted to stay a long while. We ordered a few cocktails and had some great conversations with the bartenders. They are super friendly, attentive and shared some fun stories about Marmalade. Who knew this lounge is also connected to a boutique right above? How very cool. We met a woman who walked down to grab a drink before getting a hair cut. Score! And yes, you know I made a mental note, haha. Back to the cocktails - these are craft cocktails. Watching them make them was so very fascinating. There is attention to even the smallest of details and the cocktails themselves are packed with flavor - easy drinking. I couldn't not order the Marmalade Marg and man, did I want 3 more. Alas, we had many more errands to run - which just means we'll be back! Def go but go AFTER you tackle your errands :)

The staff at marmalade lounge are so friendly! Were went on a Tuesday night and it was quiet! Drinks were delicious (they are strong!)! There of plenty of seating indoors and some match available for purchase!

I heard about Marmalade from an acquaintance. What a hidden gem in Old Town Arvada. Hidden a bit in the alley, though there is clear signage. Though in a basement/ lower level it feels bright and airy with a touch of modern elegance. We arrive on a Saturday around 6pm and easily got a table for 4. There was only one waitress for the tables and one working the bar as well as making drinks so, it took a while to get a drink. It's best to order another when your halfway through your first. The waitress was very attentive to coming by regularly to take our drink orders. The Winter in Sicily was by far the best drink I had. My husband and our friend really enjoyed the Old Fashioned. I don't drink Gin so they did accommodate by making one of my drinks with vodka. I would definitely go back to try a few other drinks that sounded interesting.

What a wonderful little hidden gem. By hidden I do mean literally. This lovely lounge is hidden behind Clementines hair salon on Olde Wadsworth in Olde Town Arvada, walk to the alley and there you'll see the signs for this cute spot. As a born and bred Arvada native I can say that this is a great addition to the area and one that I am overly excited about. A gal I went to high school manages the boutique part of Marmalade Lounge and I was beyond excited to stumble upon them via her Instagram page. I was even more excited when I came in with my husband to see it's even more amazing in person. The bar and lounge is beautifully decorated with a very clean boho aesthetic. The cocktails are also made with gorgeous detail and the prices are not outrageous. I mean the place even smells like heaven. The boutique goods are fun and eclectic and my little one walked away with the cutest felt dinosaur ornament. This is a must see spot in Arvada!!! I am a huge fan and I plan on coming back over and over again. Cheers to this amazing spot!

It was 5pm on a Friday and I did not have a reservation (I know, lesson learned). We had about 15 folks that ultimately decided to meet up. They were super accommodating. They got us in a space that could do 12 and as folks came we squeezed in. When an adjacent table opened up, they added that to our group. They did separate checks for us and did a group gratuity that was most definitely deserved by their staff. We ordered two of their large Combination Boards for the group. These were beautifully put together. Others in our group tried some of the other appetizers. I was told the cheese balls with crackers and the meatballs were tasty. Another friend got a couple flat breads and enjoyed those. For wine, we chose to order a bottle of their Broadbent Vinho Verde Dry Rosé from Minho, Portugal. We ended up getting a second bottle, it was lovely. The birthday girl had a blast and we all enjoyed each other's company. Yes, next time I will make a solid reservation. This was hard to do because I did not have a solid count on who could come, but I will guestimate next time. They have an extensive list of wines, but there are other options available for anyone with a different taste. They have a nice happy hour menu as well. Overall such a great evening.

Who knew that Christmas and Metallica could make such a fun combination, but there you have it. So much to look at you could be entertained for many rounds of beverages. We arrived for an early dinner on a weekday so things were pretty calm; good given the size of our party. I can't say it was the best old fashioned I'd ever had, but our hummus, fries mushrooms, and babaganoush were all tasty. For dinner I opted for a gyro (came with fries) and cleared my plate. I was torn but left my choice up to the bartender recommendation for the main, augmented with falafel. I was not disappointed. If you get stuck just flip a coin and it'll probably work out. If anything the worst part is the shopping center where the nearby stores throw you for a moment before you commit to the eclectic variety bar. Their interior decorations are a ridiculous blend of whatever holiday they have left up, and a death or 70-80s heavy metal bar. It is whimsically metal? Hard to even compare it, it works. At the bar you can get rock concerts on top of sports, again - a mix you don't get everywhere.

So, some friends and I headed over to Primo Vino on a Saturday thinking it was a wine bar. It sounds like it, right? Whoops. We found ourselves in a very cute, botique wine shop. But, they had a Free Wine Tasting that day, so cheers! We got to try some great wines from a winery in California, and our wine steward answered all our silly questions without making us feel silly. He even filled us in on how one would go about pouring/serving from one of those gigantic wine bottles that you see on display. You can actually buy those giant wine bottles here! After our tasting and a few suggestions from the staff, we picked some fantastic wines to take home. I didn't realize there was a bargain bin of wine until I had already paid, so I will definitiely have to come back and check that out. Primo Vino sends info to their mailing list about what wines they will pour for the wine tastings Friday & Saturday (3:30 to 6:30pm), so definitely sign up for that.

My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing.
