If I could give zero stars, I would!…read more I contacted Bob Carey solely based on the recommendation of a childhood friend, who had recently purchased some real estate in the Kerrville area. My mother was in the process of moving to Texas to be nearer to me in the San Angelo area. I suggested she might like Kerrville, and she decided we should look there as well. She was a cash buyer, going in with a smaller budget, but she was willing to spend more for the right property. I spoke with Bob and conveyed this information to him, along with the specific parameters of what she needed, such as square footage, number of bedrooms, and yard size. I had even pulled some houses off Zillow. I gave him the dates and times we would be in Kerrville and asked that he set up some appointments, which he agreed to do and said he would confirm with me. I never heard from Bob again. I reached out multiple times by phone and email, but received no response. Finally, two days before we were due to arrive in Kerrville, I contacted another agent whom I found on a Zillow listing. She took the time to put together a nice group of homes for us to tour on such short notice. I want to add that I was not comfortable with Bob from the moment we began speaking, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt based on my friend's recommendation. He demeaned and degraded me because I had purchased land in San Angelo. I felt that his comments bordered on the edge of steering. His judgment that we were not worth his time was very mistaken. My mom purchased a home in San Angelo that was way over budget because my realtor listened when I told her that she would spend more on the right property.
