Austin is patient and empathetic to your situation. He spent time listening to me trying to understand how to manage my unique circumstances. We met, had lunch in their dining room and he showed us all of the amenities and grounds. I ended up having to relocate my parent out of state and was not able to take advantage of Waterford's beautiful facility. That didn't stop Austin from checking back in to see how my move went and let me know that I could always call him as a resource. If this is the customer care as a non-resident, I can't imagine how nice it must be to have a loved one there. Thank you Austin.

The memory care director is easily accessible and often found on the floor helping. The memory care has a full time RN with his office located in memory care, the meals are prepared on site and served warm and fresh. Everyone from the director, aides, chefs, entertainment director and housekeeper were involved in my dad's care. Moving a loved one into memory care was not easy, but during my father's year at the Springs, he was well cared for and was able to stay at the Springs and pass peacefully on hospice care. My father had been in multiple facilities in the Eugene area and it was not until we moved into the Spring's Memory Care that we felt he was safe, well cared for and stimulated with activities.

Ive spoken with clients who stated how they'll send over replacements/ "fill ins" and never even bother to call them to let them know a new person is showing up. There is no care for caregivers or clients just a false sense of tutelage, trust, and benevolence. Their silver lining is that they try to shove faith, worship, god down your throat to cover up all their misdeeds thinking that a simple "we'll pray for you" is gonna fix anything. We were assured the help would check on mom every two hour since she was unable to go to the restroom on her own. They told us they wanted this to be her forever home. This seemed like the perfect place for mom. Two days after we moved mom in she fell trying to get to the restroom on her own. She slit her arm open with a bad wound. She was sent to the hospital. The hospital returned her to River Run but her arm got infected and she had to return to the hospital. After several days in the hospital she was sent to a rehab facility for three weeks. Mom was then returned to River Run Place where she spent two days before she fell again. The hospital said that mom was now a two person lift. When they called River Run, Luke told them he could not take care of her. We were put in a horrible situation trying to find a place for my mom on such short notice The only reason we chose River Run was because we were assured they could do a two person lift. We are still not sure if we will get any of our almost $12,000 back. Way too much money and stress for the five days she lived there. I do not feel this is a safe place if your loved one needs special help.

She was prompt and friendly and she always followed up which was a huge change compared to other people i had worked with. We had been struggling to find the best placement for my father on and off for a couple of years (even with the help of hospital social workers) which had been extremely difficult because I live across the country. Willow's help was invaluable in finding him a good home. She was persistent, kind, and very effective at communicating with the people at assisted living facilities. Additionally she was very fast to respond to text messages and emails which was a godsend given that many places I had been working with would only communicate over the phone or via fax. I wish we had found Willow long ago, other corporate placement agencies simply cannot do what she can do. Don't waste your time with anyone else!
