I just don't even know where to begin on saying how much I love Marri and how amazing she is at what she does. I guess first I would like to say, with a name like "Vaginaland" why would you want to go anywhere but here?! In early high school I realized you could actually get rid of all that nasty, gross, smelly, long hair that covers my beautiful lady bits, so I shaved and never looked back. In college, I realized that you could have a professional do this for you by a process called "waxing". I could never bring myself to try it for the sheer pain, mess, and most of all expense of having to go back over and over and spending countless amounts of money on something I could just shave myself. But finally, about 4 years ago I decided to finally give waxing a go, and I can say unless I go laser or a permanent route of hair removal, I will never do anything but wax. Now I can't lie, I have cheated once and when money got tight, I shaved, and that was the worst decision I could have ever made. Oh god, let me just tell you, the pain of razor burn, and the small cuts that happened all over. You know what I'm talking about, all the folds and nooks and crannies that our muff puff covers, and don't even get me started on trying to reach back and get that pesky brown eye, with the bending and squatting and the stretching of that soft supple skin, all turns into an epic failure of cuts and bruises. When you go to wipe and it is so painful you feel like you need a trip to the gynecologist but can't because you are too embarrassed to show off your botched job of trying to make your kitty cage pretty. Don't even get me started on the ingrown hairs that follow along with the razor sharp hair that constantly grows back incredibly fast to inevitably now give both you and your partner the most painful pash rash, no, I never want to experience that again. Now I have had a few different people and experiences with waxing my pretty pink, and Marri is someone truly special and exceptional at what she does and is a total warrior! Some might call her The Notorious V.A.G. Not only is she kind, sweet, professional, and boy is she quick with what she does, but she somehow makes an unpleasant experience seem like a breeze. She plays badass music, and you have the most epic and profound conversations with her and all done in 15 minutes or less! She moves around you, grabs your legs to position herself to really get into every spot of your flesh cavern, and does an exceptional job every time! When you think of, or hear the word "waxing", painful, awful, scary, uncomfortable, and many more terrible words come to mind, but with Marri, I can't think of anything but an amazing experience. She is the quickest person I have visited, has such a pleasant and professional demeanor, and the least painful I have ever experienced. She even reminds you when you haven't been in to see her in awhile and you get a quick dose of reality when you look down at your bearded clam, and you know it is time to go in and see her so she can get rid of those curly curtains poking through. I will absolutely never be able to say enough good things about Marri. I was fortunate enough to have my first waxing experience with her and am now afraid to ever go anywhere else! I was terrified when I first decided to get waxed, let alone lay on a table buck naked from the waist down and have someone other than my husband or Obgyn see what doing on down there! ‍ My first visit, ugh, the torture was so worth the end result! Marri is the absolute best, hands down! And this review is long overdue. Marri was my second waxing experience after going to a way overpriced salon a few blocks over. I found her on here and after reading so many great reviews gave her a call to find out about pricing. I was floored with her prices after I had paid over double at the other place! And she was so sweet and bubbly on the phone. I was sold immediately. My first appointment was great. She made the whole experience of getting half naked and laying on a table in front of a stranger feel pretty natural. Haha. We chatted the whole time and before I knew it she was done. Marri uses a roller for the wax instead of dipping an applicator over and over. It's way faster! Everyone gets their own roller too so it's totally sanitary. And let's be honest, it's never going to feel great to pour hot wax on your lady parts and rip that hair out. But if you're going to put yourself through this experience make the best out of it and go to Marri. My first Marri wax was right before I got engaged, and I've now been going to Marri for about 2 years. I would never go anywhere else! Since then she's got me ready for my wedding/honeymoon, birthdays, vacations, holidays, and all the months in between.
