I left 3 messages, a text and called on Thursday morning. I waited for a call back to schedule a Hydra dermabrasion facial with a body wrap and eye lash tint. I had a few questions before booking and wanted to ensure I would get what I would be paying for. One major discrepancy was their online pricing. At 7:30 am on Saturday morning (today) I woke to my phone ringing. A woman stated Leah asked her to call me, she was Leah's assistant "Rose". Rose sounded drunk. I asked her where she was located (realizing the bars are closed I was suspicious) she said "off shore". Hmmm, interesting. I asked what Glow Skin Care had available for the treatments I requested and she said they were open Monday - Saturday. She didn't say the time of next available appointment. I followed along and helped her figure out how to do one of the easiest jobs on the planet of scheduling an appointment. Something a girl at the Glow Skin Care could easily do if they picked up a phone. Especially when charging over $200 for an hour long procedure. Well, "Rose" was an idiot. She couldn't answer any questions about the provider of treatment or any other questions I had. Eventually she said she would have the owner, Leah, call me back. I would have been satisfied with the person doing the treatment to call me back but when you talk to an outsourced person who has no idea what shes doing you can't expect much more. Clearly Leah and her staff have so much business and money they can't call a new client who wants to book multiple appointments back. If they can't do the small things right they certainly can't do the big things right. read more

Man I hate to say anything negative, but this was not a relaxing experience at all. I was scheduled for a Signature Facial. Jennifer was late, but I get it and she tried to accommodate by doing a light therapy treatment first in a spare room because the room I was suppose to be in for the facial was occupied for another 15minutes on top of the late start. Jennifer ended up just doing the facial in the spare room, which was bright, small, and not as relaxing as the facial room. I ended up getting my facial in my clothes and the top of my t-shirt was wet by end of session. Jennifer was in and out of the room at least five times bringing in machines and products into this small room, which she was verbally not happy about either while things were banging against each other while she was trying to make room. I signed up for the signature facial for $119, but felt pressure to upgrade to getting microdermabrasion and hydration facial for $199. Which I regret. I also didn't get the stone massage like it says in all the facials descriptions or a lip treatment. I am pregnant and the same of the CBD exfoliate that was used on me smelled like marijuana (and turned my stomach) and I looked it up later that there is no scientific studies that report CBD in skincare is safe during pregnancy and then I contacted my doctor who said to not use any topical products with CBD. So that was disappointing to find out. Just overall the facial experience was not what I have experienced in my history of getting facials. The Yelp reviews just didn't hold up to what I was expecting the relaxing experience would have been. read more

I've had pretty persistent problems with cystic acne for awhile now and have pretty bad scarring and constant outbreaks. I made an appointment with Jennifer randomly to try and look as good as I could before quarantine ends. I ended up getting a package of three appointments and I'm so glad that I did! My skin looks AMAZING after two appointments. The appearance of scars has lightened so much and I haven't had any new acne, cystic or otherwise, since going the first time.
