Nice clean hotel. This Marriott is a lot more quiet than the downtown one. They have a good bar here. It's located next to a small lake with great views.

The staff were friendly, and the room itself was clean with comfortable beds. What makes this a 3-star experience was paying extra for concierge access and finding a dirty, unserviced concierge area. We arrived at check-in time and had a lovely and efficient front desk experience. We found the main lobby to be welcoming, but we noticed the elevators were really banged up. Our room was clean and seemed recently updated and came with a great view of the lake with the city skyline in the distance. The beds were comfortable, although we did hear some noise in the hallways, so it may not be the best for light sleepers. After checking in, I tried to head to the concierge room and found it didn't open until 5 pm on Sundays. I returned later at 5:45 and found the room to be in a pretty sorry state. No Marriott employee was even in the room, the food options -- already limited -- were all but gone, dirty plates were everywhere, and the only option to drink was water (with a 2-bottle limit). I looked around for a few minutes in case I was missing something and then decided to leave. Overall, I would stay here again, but I would definitely not upgrade to concierge level.

Did a staycation at the Marriott Indianapolis North to get out of the house and not travel far. Everyone at the front desk were very friendly, and any questions or requests (such as late checkout) were granted. Breakfast was good (but pricy) with plenty of choices to choose from. They have a made to order omelet bar, and they will also make your waffles for you. As for the room, it was clean and comfortable. The shower was a walk-in, but this one had a sliding door so the water doesn't splash out on the floor. This may seem trivial, but I can't remember how many times I've been at a hotel that didn't have a door and I swear there was almost as much water on the floor as inside the shower area! lol Enjoy if you stay here.

I wanted to enjoy my stay here more than I did. Pros: clean rooms, above average decor, beautiful lake view rooms available, concierge room for members with excellent staff Cons: very noisy-- cleaning staff hold very loud conversations in the hallway & play loud music while they clean rooms nearby, pool water is a little cooler than my kids are used to

Our rate wasn't too pricey compared to other hotels of this caliber: $129/per night, per room over Labor Day weekend. We got a few perks which definitely made the stay a little nicer, starting with a high floor room with a balcony overlooking a large, pristine man-made lake. The hotel's proximity to the nearby fashion mall, "Keystone at the Crossing" is a bonus. The hotel itself is attractive on the inside but won't win any style awards from architecture magazines. Typical early 1990s style brass and granite interiors. My room (#813) was nice. No noticeably worn furniture or wall coverings. I could have used an additional power outlet near the desk, but I simply unplugged the coffee pot to add my laptop. The bed linens were simple, clean and attractive. AH, THE BED. In a word: the best hotel bed I've ever had. It was one of those iComfort foam beds. Wonderful. They even have a large brochure for purchasing the actual bed linens, pillows, bathroom accessories and mattresses. The bathroom was clean and efficient. The designer shower head was a nice touch, as were the Aromatherapy brand toiletries and soaps. Then again, for a hotel like this, anything less would be a letdown. The breakfast buffet was decent: waffles and omelets made to order, cereals, fresh fruit, hot tray items like eggs Benedict and bacon, etc. The pool and workout areas are very nice; the pool is much larger than you'd expect for a corporate hotel, though it's not a lap pool nor deep enough (3 ft-4 ft) to allow for any real swimming. The hot tub was...well, HOT. The workout room has a range of good equipment: LifeFitness brand machines--treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machine, etc. There are also containers of water in the fridge and a fruit bowl available. The staff was fine. Shoutouts to Margie Kay and Derrick for the humor and perks.

Great bar and restaurant. Good food and drinks looking over a small lake. Easy access from 465.

Loved the yard games and chalk, a worker (I assume) came out and gave my son a ball and balloon which made his day and kept him busy which was kind. Not so good: first time here and they were out of almost all of the food, and I think only one person working because it took a good 10+ min to see anyone to order my beer. Again first time here so I was confused; was I in the wrong spot, do I go up front to order? Do I need to use the QR code for beer? I ended up asking some people in the area and they said "oh you're in the right spot, I just haven't seen anyone in quite some time." Suggestion would be more signage as to where to order, and maybe even a "will return in X min" sign so you know someone is working somewhere and have a better idea of when they will return to set expectations. If the guy, who I assume worked there, didn't come out and give my son a ball, fill the dogs water bowl up, etc. then I would have been uninterested in returning, but I think I'm going to chalk it up to a holiday and it being hard to find service people. Since they have Guggman beers I may be back if I'm looking for a dog and kid friendly location.

The beers are great, they have a few that are always on the menu. I like to try the new ones that come out. What I also like about this location is that they have coloring pages, probably meant for kids but I partook in that. I did however do some work while I was there. Didn't need the internet and I'm not sure if they have WiFi for clients. The bartenders are always great and patient when I'm asking to sample all the new beers. Check it out if you're in the area.

I booked this place because the other hotels in the area seemed unreasonably priced for a weekend stay. Our main destinations were located near Downtown Indianapolis, so this hotel was at the perfect price point for about a ~25 min. drive to the downtown. I mainly stayed here because other reviews noted how clean the rooms were. And I had no complaints about the cleanliness of the room, it was impeccably clean. Our room looked like no one else has ever stayed there. I am pretty nitpicky about cleanliness of hotel rooms, and I always make sure to check the mattress, pillows, and any couches for those not-so-fun bugs. This room passed all my tests and exceeded my expectations! However, all of the other hotels I've stayed at would always come to the room to at least make the bed and throw away any trash that we've accumulated from the previous day. I have stayed at *not so great* sketchy hotels, and they even cleaned the room and taken out the trash. One thing to note about our stay: the weekend I booked was the same as the FFA convention and there was also a local school football team staying on the same floor as us. I noticed that the football team's room were consistently being cleaned and delivered a fresh set of sheets to every room. I'm unsure if this was a user error thing, and I had to request fresh sheets and for them to clean our room during our stay (?) but regardless, I would've appreciated the service as well. The breakfast here is definitely something to write about. Other reviews say its "OK" but as a breakfast lover, I thought it was exceedingly better than any other hotels I've been to. I especially appreciated that they served tortillas and hot sauce each day. I didn't expect any less from an Indianapolis hotel. TLDR; Cleanliness of the rooms is the biggest reason to book, especially if you're a clean freak like I am. Will you get amazing service to rave about? Probably not.

CoHatch, which has hosted at least a couple Yelp events that I can remember, currently has five locations in Central Indiana (a sixth, Circle Centre, I believe has closed). The locations include Polk Stables, Zionsville, Carmel, Noblesville, and this location in Broad Ripple. This location is housed in a former church (I know it used to be Common Grounds and I'm pretty certain it was at least one church before that). There's still some of the stained glass windows present. Managed by Jenna, whom I met during a Polk Stables Yelp event, this location seems to be quite busy. While I didn't get a chance to go around it as much as I'd have liked as I was here for an actual meeting, I was impressed with the decor, amenities, the people I met, and the efforts to make it accessible. Let's start there. Not every CoHatch location is truly accessible - they tend to locate in unique and often historic buildings. This can create challenges to true accessibility. This location has accessible parking in the back along with a ramp that goes up to one of the doorways. If you're not a member, you'll have to be let in. I wasn't completely thrilled with the end of the ramp - it's got a bit of a lip to it, however, the effort is obvious and it definitely works. The parking is also truly ADA compliant. I didn't notice all the businesses here, however, I did note that the Sagamore Institute maintains offices here. This location has the usual coworking spaces, a large event space, an outdoor area with a patio and kitchen, a sports simulator, and private offices. They have high-speed Wifi, coffee/tea options, meeting rooms (we used one to record an interview), 24/7 access, phone booths, office supplies, mailbox service, printing/copying, workshops for members, a kitchen, and an onsite manager. The neighborhood feels safe and is a pretty easy jaunt over to Broad Ripple's main strip. I like the decor, though found it a bit more plain than some of the locations. I think Polk Stables remains my favorite of the Central Indiana locations. This location is probably the closest to my home and it's definitely someplace I could see myself working. As someone who does a lot of social outreach/charity work, I definitely saw spaces I could bring to life here. I also did notice the restroom offered nice accessibility and there were some personal supplies in the restrooms - nice touch. I'd wanted to stop into this place and was pleased when I found out a meeting was going to be here. I finally got to check it out and was definitely impressed.

It was tasteful and expansive but also had several little nooks for a quieter space. There were outside spaces and even a Barbeque space that could be rented for parties or business outings. My meeting was a fun way to be exposed to this location and will definitely be returning to try out some of the other spots for meetings or work.
