I had been hounding my landlord for years to clean up the property, thinking it was affecting mine and my neighbors business. I took a look at my lease, and found out that all landscaping is MY RESPONSIBILITY!!! At first I was upset this would cost me money, but realized this was a blessing in disguise as I now had full control over the most important marketing for a barbershop, a beautiful and welcoming entrance for old and new customers. I'm not a landscaping expert, so I was both picky and vague (I'm such a great client ;-), but Mike fully understood and delivered on what I wanted: 1. Save all the trees that weren't dying. 2. Trim down any tree limbs/shrubbery blocking the historic building and signage for mine and my neighbors shops. 3. Make it pretty/clean (they power washed the building and sidewalks too!). I was so excited with the results and I've put the before and after photos here so you can all see too! Not only did I notice new customers coming in, but I got a ton of wonderful comments from my regulars who were so used to my overgrown and dingy looking shop. I'm so happy with Plant Solutions' work, and so happy that he was able to save all the trees including the Cherry tree planted by the previous business owner's mother at least 60 years ago. He was also very professional and had my back when explaining all of the work he was doing to the landlord (who was suddenly VERY CONCERNED about the landscaping LOL). Every part of our yard has its own function and it looks great and feels great. We hang out, bbq, host in our backyard as much as we can. They fully gutted our backyard, leveled out, installed an extensive retaining wall, reinstalled the fence, installed new patio areas and stepping stones, and installed new sod. Diego and his crew worked SO HARD. Our project was done in July 2025 and it was so hot out, but Diego and his guys wanted to finish our project for us before the summer ended. Diego was always communicative, kind, professional, knowledgable, and such a pleasure to work with. He worked with us on our budget, gave us multiple options, and made the best recommendations. We're so grateful for Diego and his crews time and hard work! We even asked him for another smaller project and he completely delivered on that as well.
