In the 30 years we've had it there were never any issues or problems, until one day it just stopped working. We didn't know who to call for a repair on this old machine, an original Maytag, and a model that is no longer sold. No electronics, no bells and whistles, just an old workhorse. We didn't want to scrap it because of the quality build. We needed someone who knew about older machines as well as the newer more electronic ones. We are so happy we called Bob at Canton Appliance Service. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, had some parts with him and within a quick half hour or so, the dryer was repaired, cleaned and reassembled. He was prompt, courteous, reasonable, and a good value. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice for a repair person, Bob is a good choice for all older machines and of course all the newer fancy ones.

The owner and his partner came out, they were very cool and professional they set it up the next day on time and their prices are fantastic and they were a pleasure to have a conversation with and I got a nice machine for 70% less than I would have paid for a new low end unit. They carry whirlpools, kenmore's and all the higher end stuff that they go over piece by piece. That washer works like a dream call P and E when you need a good price and prompt service they are your best bet in my opinion

My husband and I bought a new refrigerator at a "big box" store three years ago. We were also told by local repair people that they wouldn't try to repair the refrigerator because it was too hard. The box store told us to call the manufacturer and have them send out a technician. We waited for six months- and no one came. We bought a replacement refrigerator at Home Appliance. In less than a year, the refrigerator started to have issues. Not a fault of Home Appliance,but a fault of faulty manufacturing- or we just have really bad luck with refrigerators. Home Appliance sent a repair person out quickly- they fixed the problem- but it came back. They came out four different times in a two week period. They did everything they could. They could not fix it, so, two days ago, we got a new refrigerator. All of this was done at no charge (it was under warranty). They also gave us a loaner fridge to use while we waited for the new one. Big box stores may be a few dollars cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Home Appliance will be our go to store from here on out. Thank you Home Appliance for maintaining a reputation of caring for your customers.

However, when I booked the call, I asked if they could clean my dryer vent under the same call. I was told yes. The repair man said there was a mix up between the call center and the company and he would not do it. Also, my washer was leaking from the inside causing the water on the floor. He did not even take 30 seconds to turn off the water to the washer or tell me I should do it. He was not friendly at all. I called the office and the person could not have cared less. She said she gets tons of complaints about the call center but it works out financially well for the owner. she also said she gets a lot of complaints about this particular repair man. My 12 rental properties and I are saying goodbye. If you want local support, give good service.

I get the impression that the get a lot of grief they probably don't deserve. They seem to brace themselves when people walk in, then relax when it becomes clear you aren't an @ hole. At least that's how they've always treated me when I walk through their door, which has happened about once a year for a good long while. I am not a professional. I repair my own appliances.
