It was so late that we almost completely missed the welcome party that was planned for our group. The bus that finally arrived was a 20-year-old beater. The transmission was bad, the alignment and suspension were shot, and the bathroom door did not latch. The suspension was so severely degraded that it audibly bottomed out on road bumps, causing motion sickness among multiple passengers. The transmission could not maintain speed on inclines, making the journey slow and stressful for everyone on board. The windshield wipers were so worn they could barely clear rain from the windshield (a serious safety hazard). Overhead storage bins would not latch, risking items falling on passengers, and the lighting inside most of them did not work. The spare tires were stored in a luggage compartment and had dangerously little tread remaining. We paid for what we were promised would be a newer luxury coach with ample luggage space and modern amenities. Instead, we got an old bus with no electrical outlets, damaged seat upholstery, and a bathroom that reeked before a single passenger had even used it. They sent us a vehicle that should not be in passenger service. When we sought a refund, we were bounced between the broker, Rally/OurBus and All Aboard Express, and now neither company will return our calls. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere!

The bus arrived late for pick up and the air conditioning was broken. After the second stop we got a second bus, both for the air conditioning and because the bus had a flat tire when we drove into the parking lot. The next bus didn't have air conditioning and not even blowers were working. The temperature in the bus climbed to 100. The third Bus was driven from the Rohan's bus depot to our location and had not cooled down. We are sitting in another bus that doesn't have air conditioning, no shades for the windows. Heat exhaustion and heat stroke are possible. And we have to ride 5 hours back to Richmond.

From the very first conversation I knew it was different. Out of everyone I spoke to, Jonce stood out as professional, straightforward, reasonable and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. He took the time to make me feel completely at ease about renting a party bus for my daughter's high school prom. Last month, we had two buses to transport local and out of town wedding guests to the venue. One of…read morethe drivers was late, causing a 15min delay to the ceremony while we waited for nearly half the guests to arrive. But that's the lesser issue. Later that day, one driver (do not know if it was the same one) caused damage to the exterior of the venue (and the bus), resulting in $700 of repairs required for the historic building. Now, over a month after the incident, American Limousines is refusing to pay for the damages to the venue caused by their driver and burdening the bride & groom with paying out of pocket. There should be no issues for a company in good standing with their insurance companies to cover this amount as the cost of doing business. American Limousines is an irresponsible, unprofessional vendor, and will only cause ongoing headaches for you and your event. Do not contract them for your event, and do not allow your clients to either!
