The service department went above and beyond for my wife and I. We are traveling from Michigan to Florida. Stopped in Dry Ridge KY for the night, went to leave the hotel the next morning to continue on our trip, and our Grand Cherokee started and ran awfully. Immediately called Marshall (closest to our hotel). Talked to Nate, a service writer, and he promptly told me he would be happy to help as best he and the dealership can, but being Saturday, their hours are shorter, and mostly focus on oil changes. Regardless, we limped our jeep there, and they went to work. They made us a priority, and we definitely noticed. I wish I caught the technicians name that worked on our gc, because he deserves credit in this too. This dealers service department literally saved our vacation, and alot of money. I will be reaching out to Chrysler to let them know how well we were treated there! This literally all happened this morning, and as I write this, we have made it to southern Georgia, and wouldn't have without this dealer. read more

Dishonest, stay away. Sold us a salvage title rebuilt hunk of junk without disclosing at time of purchase. My teenager's entire year's worth of money gone on this lemon only to have this car literally falling apart and needing daily jump despite purchasing a new battery. Can't speak to service, only new car sales. Marshall had the van my wife wanted, so we drove a couple hours into the country to see it. Pretty quickly we decided we wanted to buy it. I had done some homework, so I wasn't completely unprepared. This was the quickest, smoothest, most transparent new car sale I can remember. Tina took great care of us, showing us the car and letting us drive it. Her sales manager understood my concern over the numbers and pretty quickly made them work--including a superb financing deal that even he was surprised at, which meant I didn't have to find it on my own. Then we got to the finance office right away, and that was VERY quick and painless. The car was right, they made the numbers right, they did the final paperwork right, and finance had us in and out in a few minutes. Full transparency and no funny business. You can't ask for more. This is my first Chrysler ever, and if I were going to buy another I'd head to Marshall because I know it would be a painless experience. read more

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE!!! I don't think I can stress that enough. I purchased a used vehicle at this location and have had nothing but problems. The service department is so slow with everything they do (just a simple oil change takes more than an hour). They will sell you a warranty but then they do NOT honor it. I spent close to $3,000 on my warranty, but right now my husband is fixing the problems that they won't fix. When you speak to management, they only want to sell you a different car. They are unethical. I inquired about a car and was told is was 'as-is' so they didn't do an overall inspection but there was nothing they would say was an obvious issue. When I drove an hour to get there the car was completely trashed inside, pats ripped out, seats torn and as dirty and disgusting as a restaurant dumpster in the august heat. Sold me a mini van and scammed me. Told me only thing mechanics found that needed to be replaced was front struts. Rack and pinion is bad and found dead mouse in dash along with mouse nest. They will not return phone calls. They should take back van or at least repair rack they lied about. Scammers/Fraud alert. Stay away from these liars. read more

When you have to obtain an attorney and file with the ky attorney general, it is not a pleasant experience. I have been lied to from the moment I walked into their door. They couldn't print me out a carfax because their printer was down, but assured me it was clean and would be mailed to me with my title info. It never came and my jeep is a mess less than a month into buying it. It squeaks and chirps like an old rusty bucket. My mechanic found a TON of pre existing damage and has advised me to get a lawyer because they sold you a dangerous vehicle that could easily flip over. I spent well over 25k on a jeep that I can't take on the highway or drive over 50mph for fear of dying. I pulled the carfax myself after getting transferred to 6 different people who were going to "look into it", with no response back,,, the carfax has 26 hits on this 1 vehicle!! The salesman John Rettig lied directly to my face now refuses to return any calls. I thought the days of low life lying used car salesmen died off with Eugene Levy in National Lampoons Vacation, but apparently it's still alive and well in Crittended Ky. I can't get overly descriptive about this place that felt a few thousand dollars was worth lying and being purposely deceitful and putting my family and myself in danger by selling me this rolling flip trap, as the next steps to come may require an audience of authority. But trust your fellow consumer on this one, there are far too many dealerships around to fool around down here with John aka Eugene and the boys. Because as a consumer who is purchasing something of great cost, you deserve honesty and integrity and a quality product. On 04 July, I walked into MARSHALL CDJR after speaking to one of their internet sales folks by email. I set an appointment to come down to see a truck. That truck was not on the lot, which I learned then. I expressed my frustration to Michael Appleman, who I was referred to. They had two trucks their that I was interested in, one had arrived the night prior.  I was told truck #1 would not work, as the dealership sold it to themselves in order to Make June's sales goal. Truck #2, a black Ram 1500, with black appearance package and crew cab was what I wanted. The truck on the lot did not have the LED Lighting Package that I wanted, though. I explained this to both Mr Appleman and his boss, name unknown. They said, if we add the LED Package to this truck, will you purchase today? I asked twice, are you sure that can be done? Both times, my question was met with a resounding 'yes!'. I filled out a document and they ran my credit. Later they came out and said that they didn't have a rate yet. I stated, what are we looking at? They stated they had not run my credit. I said, yes, you did...I just received a credit monitoring alert on my phone. Salesman disappears and reappears later to apologize. He seems totally out of the loop on everything, yet acts like he has everything under control. Manager and he both show up and apologize then explain there was a miscommunication. I feel like I keep getting the run-around and threaten to leave. They then start to actually get down to business and we iron-out a deal. I was told financier was Chrysler Capital. In the finance office, on 05 July, I show up to sign and ensure the LED Light Package for Black appearance is added, along with tonneau and bed liner. I was told each was $450 and LED was $995. I sign and leave with agreed upon date for work to be done, Monday 8 July. Michael tells me that work should be completed in one day. I leave. Later, he texts me and the work won't be done until Wednesday. I say fine. Wednesday, at the agreed upon time, I leave for the dealer...to be called about 15 minutes prior to arriving so that they can tell me the truck isn't ready. I proceed anyways, despite their objections. I arrive and the truck has no lights fitted and merely has had the bed sprayed...and not with Line-X, as I was told.  Then, I meet Trey Marshall and Randy. They tell me I'm being difficult and they had actually planned on installing some aftermarket LED light bulbs into my truck (this is what I paid $995 for?). After arguing for 30 minutes, they conceded that I was right, the LED Package I had documented on the sheet, was the correct one. Trey said he would take the lights off of a truck they had and install them so I could be on my way the next day. He said "I will call you first thing tomorrow morning".  Next day comes...no calls. Around noon I call in and Trey tells me that they cannot change the lights. FCA told them the lights will not retrofit after factory build. I tell him I want the situation fixed or our contract is void because this was not the deal. He states he will locate a new truck. Then they want to put me in their red demo that I initially wanted, I just have to wait 80 days before I can take possession. I stated, absolutely not.  I go, after we speak, to pick up my truck. I get it home with the understanding I will be switched out to another truck. I find bed spray all over the bumper, wheels and plastics. In addition, they scratched the paint on the bed. I inform them and get no response. Finally, I emailed the owner as well as Trey and Randy, another manager handling my situation. I tell them I want my money back from the LED Lights as well as the estimated $1800 to fix the truck after their mess-up. I included audio recordings of the phone calls to protect myself.  I get a call from Randy, that evening, he is conciliatory and said to send them the estimate. On the evening of 23 July I sent the estimate. Then, on the morning of 24 July, Trey  called me to ask for documents to prove my tax exempt status (military). I said, I'm not interested in that, I want to know the resolution to this situation. He stated that he had to discuss it...I was not pleased. Then he said, "you can just bring the truck back" which I stated, absolutely, I will this afternoon. Contract voided, I've purchased approximately 15-20 new vehicles in my lifetime, worst experience ever. read more

Best experience I have had in years. After calling inquiring about the Dodge Promaster city work van I was called by their work van pro, Sonny. We needed another van for Hedgehog Signs. He stopped by our shop in Newport, a day later and we discussed my my needs. He said he had a great deal on the van. We stopped out today and bought it. So smooth, no high pressure just a pleasure. I will go back and definitely refer Sonny more business. Ask for him, it is well worth it! read more

I give them NO stars but it made me select one! If you're smart, you'll steer clear of this place. I was flat out lied to from the very start. It was my first time buying a car all on my own. I researched the car but not the dealer and I wish I would have. The salesman told me on the phone the tires were in great shape. They were all dry rotted so I had to replace them all. The salesman and the finance guy lied to me about the polysteel warranty and said it covered scratches and dings. Come to find out, it only covers paint fading!! I made a fuss about the tires after the fact and they told me they'd sell me new ones at their cost. Funny thing is their cost is the same price I can buy the same tire elsewhere. I do not trust any of them or anything they say but I am stuck taking my car there for service or it voids the warranty on the power train which I'm willing to bet is also another no good warranty that they won't make good on. Scam sales group. My son bought a used car from this group and put $1000 down on a car. The finance guy put it as GAP insurance and would not fix the paperwork. Also sales said they would pay the tax and tags but added to paperwork anyway. STAY AWAY this dealership has lost our family business. Absolute WORST experience ever purchasing a new vehicle! My salesman "Michael Appleman" lied throughout the entire process and went into defensive mode once i called him out on it. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I purchased a new Ram 2500 extended cab turbo diesel from them and not only did i get ran through the rabbit hole during the initial process (because the salesman didn't know much about the truck) but when i ordered the leather interior, spray in bed liner and running boards i was told it would take 2 days, it took over a week and my running boards are not symmetrical at all as well as a scratch on the bed rail! Michael Appleman lied about the price of the running boards to the tune of 400.00 more than the quote! I never got a tutorial on how to operate ANYTHING, when i called him out on the pricing he got upset and started calling me a liar over the phone and stated that i just want to get out of paying for them? Talked to a sales person about a truck I was interested in. He said he needed to check with his manager on pricing and would call me right back. It's been three days with no call back. I called the next day and asked for the Manager and was told he was there but unavailable. Next day I tried back and the Manager was still unavailable. I asked for VM box and he doesn't have one. Left my name and number. No calls from him either. Registered a complaint on their website and got three auto generated emails about what great deals they were running and discounts for service. Still no reply to my question about pricing. Truck is still listed for sale on their website. If you don't want to sell anything, keep making promises and not following through. The public knows what type of people are running that dealership and will gladly take our business elsewhere. read more

As promised, an update now that the title paperwork has finally arrived. I would still give this dealership negative stars if I could. My visit with the Title Office and the BMV was very enlightening. The clerk pointed out the many errors made by the dealership when calculating the taxes and fees they collected from me, and yes...there was more money due from me to get my car titled in Ohio and my plates transferred. I spoke at length with the Sales Manager several times today and he swears he knew nothing about any of the problems I have been having, yet offered no satisfactory solution to reimburse me for the additional out of pocket I have incurred. He offered to fill my tank if I would make a trip down to the dealership again. How hard would it be to drop a check and a gas card in the mail to me? He's got my address. These people have no clue how to resolve issues that they caused in the first place. Steer clear of this dealer! read more
