Stopped in Dry Ridge KY for the night, went to leave the hotel the next morning to continue on our trip, and our Grand Cherokee started and ran awfully. Immediately called Marshall (closest to our hotel). Talked to Nate, a service writer, and he promptly told me he would be happy to help as best he and the dealership can, but being Saturday, their hours are shorter, and mostly focus on oil changes. Regardless, we limped our jeep there, and they went to work. They made us a priority, and we definitely noticed. I wish I caught the technicians name that worked on our gc, because he deserves credit in this too. This dealers service department literally saved our vacation, and alot of money. I will be reaching out to Chrysler to let them know how well we were treated there! This literally all happened this morning, and as I write this, we have made it to southern Georgia, and wouldn't have without this dealer.

We had our Toyota Rav 4 Charcoal Canister replaced 3 times, and the lights on the dashboard are all still on. Now the part is still under warranty (failed after 7 months) as it is a one-year warranty part. Beware of them telling you a part has mileage warranty; they lied and told us we were 624 miles over the warranty. I called the Toyota Experience line, and they said that part is a one-year warranty part mileage does not matter. Guess they think the customer won't check. When that didn't work for them, they said it was our fault for the part failing from overfilling with gas. This is ridiculous! I did my due diligence, and online there are hundreds to thousands of complaints for several Toyota brands, Charcoal Canister Failures, and many complaints list the dealership telling the customer it is their fault for overfilling the fuel tank. There are several other reasons this part can fail, and it really should be a RECALL ON EVERY VEHICLE AFFECTED. I will list the reasons in case this helps someone going through this same problem. Because of its design and the presence of check values that may become fouled with fuel, it is reported to fail frequently. It's located at the bottom of the vehicle, so debris can physically damage it. Also, it can clog with debris. Contamination from Liquid Fuel: fuel enters due to a malfunction in the fuel system. Now they want me to bring it back so they can check if something is wrong with the EVAP system. NO WAY, they should have been looking at that the second time it failed. Now it's the third time, and they want to wash their hands of it. After it failed the third time, they said the spark plugs needed to be replaced, which we did, and 2 weeks later, all the lights on the dashboard were on again, went back in, and then they said it was the Charcoal Canister. I have read the reviews for the sales department of this place also, and many people say don't purchase a car here or service it at Dry Ridge Toyota because they are liars, etc. This was resolved with Toyota Experience, as they were on the conference call. I had set up a time to have it replaced again, per their calling me to arrange a time. My husband went in, and the owner, whom we have never seen, came out of the office and said we are not doing the replacement, it's your fault it failed. SO, THEY LIED TO TOYOTA EXPERIENCE AND US, WASTED OUR TIME OFF WORK TO SCHEDULE. PLEASE READ ALL THEIR REVIEWS BEFORE DOING BUSINESS HERE.

I don't like car-shopping as a general rule, and I felt especially put-out in this instance. I hadn't been in the market for a car and considered this to be a huge burdensome chore. I had been to several dealerships in Lexington and the Toyota dealership in Frankfort. We were going to purchase from the Frankfort dealership (where we bought our last one), until they offered us a whopping 13.5% interest rate (and it wasn't even the color I wanted). After searching Toyota dealership inventories online, I happened across Dry Ridge Toyota. I decided to stop by there since they had the color car I wanted. This dealership is 40 miles away from my home, and there were 4 other dealerships closer, but this one turned out to be worth the drive. I told the salesman about my experience in Frankfort and he said he was certain they could beat that rate. I felt they actually wanted to earn our business. And I truly feel that they worked to do so. They got the car I wanted, and better yet, they found an interest rate of 3.5%! They managed to make a bad experience a positive one. Same guy, and another man with him this time, my husband asked him about the cars he said he would have in our price range this week and walked us out into the lot (at least 20ish cars out this time) walked us to a 2008 Toyota Corolla, busted af w/170 miles and said it was 1500$ down and 400$ a month....he was punking us, out of all the cars on that lot he only showed us that one. He was dismissive and rude, long story short-don't bother unless you know someone there or bring someone with you who he's sold to before otherwise you're going to have your time wasted.
