When we challenged her to personalize our wedding to our tastes, she quoted us an increased price, which we agreed to, and we still only received a "mood board" with images that we had previously sent to Elise. As the wedding got closer, her support dwindled and we heard from Elise less and less, leading up to Elise walking away from our wedding the week before it took place (with all of our money). Our team of wedding vendors were shocked at how poorly we had been treated and asked us to let others know. If you want a rinse and repeat wedding, you could consider hiring Elise, but I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere and hire a planner that genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience based on what you dream of, instead of recycling what Elise has taken credit for in the past.

Kate also did my flowers. My flowers turned out great. However my schedule for the day of the wedding was very off we had about 3 hours before the ceremony were all my bridesmaids and groomsman were just sitting out in the open for everyone to see including my self. We could have started to get ready much later to avoid this. Also Kate did not help with gathering any of our things after the ceremony or even ensuring everyone was in the correct spots for the ceremony. In good of that the set up of the reception that we had planned was not followed through on the day. I did not feel supported by Kate on the day of the wedding. When we needed her my bridesmaids had to search for her to help us. I felt like the only reason why my wedding happed was because of my family and friends. Also Kate was supposed to take over communications with my vendors the last month before the wedding and that never happened. I confirmed with all my vendors and paid them. I would not recommend bello and blue to anyone as a wedding planner, as it was very expensive and they did not follow through on their actual agreement.

On the actual wedding day, she seemed unsure of how I should make my entrance down the aisle. She later mentioned that she had given me options for the entrance just moments before I was due to walk down. Why should such a critical decision be left until the most nerve-wracking moment? Lastly, we had a flower girl and her mother who arrived late to the rehearsal, meaning we couldn't practice their roles. Lilli failed to communicate the necessary instructions to them after they entered, leading to the flower girl becoming upset and wandering aimlessly during the ceremony. When we confronted these issues to her next day, she said "if this is going to ruin your wedding, your marriage is not going to last" If you want to hear this after your wedding day, please hire her

We reached out to Lilli Black on a whim, not expecting a reply, as we are working with a very small budget. How wrong we were! Lilli didn't just reply, she replied at 9:00pm at night 10 minutes after my initial query. She even conversed with me for over an hour, providing me insights, general advice and really calming my nerves! The next day we were in her office! She gave us the full run down on a typical budget, potential place we can host it at, and completely different styles of wedding. We haven't even engaged her yet, and she was professional to the T, providing us insight in the spirit of good will. She has hosted 1000+ weddings and the experience showed in her candor, knowledge base and demeanor. At the end of the day, we didn't manage to book Lilli only because our first choice became available. We had imagined a beautiful outdoor wedding with a rustic reception that Lilli mentioned was definitely doable, even with our tiny budget.
