Most of the reviews I see for this practice are for Dr. Wallace. While I've never met the man (and from what I've seen he's an amazing surgeon), I have to share some love for surgeon, Dr. McKnight. He and his team (the whole practice to be honest) were all first class. The surgery (while stressful since I am a worrier) and recovery were a breeze. At each point in the process I felt looked after, cared for, and informed. In the end, the most painful part of the process was the IV stick and the food restrictions, but that's par for the course with mouth surgery!

I said "thank you so much" before hanging up and before I could even finish, she'd hung up on me without another word. Not a great first impression. Edited to add: before Stacy's hang up, she told me that they call a lip repositioning, "lip reduction" which is not the same thing in the slightest. All went very well as usual but this time I asked for a new teeth guard to be made as my former one had yellowed and was getting a bit damaged I'm always stressed out when I get because I live 2.5 hrs away and the traffic is always really bad especially on this particular visit. So I left and drove a ways and realized I didn't have my new teeth guard. I panicked as that meant more driving and I called and got the answering service. It was probably lunchtime at this point. So I was so upset I'm sure I frustrated the lady on the phone as I was telling her I needed that guard overnighted as I needed it! Then all of a sudden I realized I put it in my fanny pack and found it. I told her never mind that I found it and I was so relieved. I tell this story because the patience thus office demonstrates is amazing. Here I was half crazy thinking I left without my guard and yet the lady on the other end kept her composure and tried to help me! Next time I'm going to leave extra early to avoid some of the traffic and my stress from worrying that I will be late but this dentist is worth the drive.
