I've been a patient of Dr. Venincasa for many years. It's such a great, low stress, low pressure environment. Everything runs on time, it's easy to make/change appointments, etc. My 14 year old son has been a patient since he was little. When I first moved to Dallas 22 years ago a coworker recommended Dr. Venincasa and I've never felt the need to see another dentist since. Never once did I get an up-sell, only once or twice has he ever recommended something other than cleanings, and always something necessary - not frivolous. When my toddler fell and cracked her tooth he valiantly took a look (at great personal risk), and recommended me to a fabulous pediatric dentist. He has been caring for my son's teeth for years now, and spends extra time on him due to a bone issue that affects his teeth and jaw, working with other doctors to give my son the best dental care possible. The best dentist I have seen. Dr. Venincasa and his staff are great, with a focus on the patient that exceeds any I've found. Making appointments are easy: either via phone or email. And if you want, reminder contact can be via phone, email, text, or any combination. The office strives to focus on you when you're there, so you're in almost immediately, seldom are left waiting once seated, but never feel rushed. The staff is friendly and explains what's going on, but doesn't overwhelm you. And Dr. Venincasa embodies the ideal of a collaborator on your health. Most dentists just tell me what I ought to do. Dr. Venincasa showed me what was happening, laid out the options (including the "do nothing" one), and discussed the pros and cons of each. Made me feel like I was in control, but with a trusted expert advisor. And for my dental work: the first and only dentist to truly be "pain free". A great dental experience every time I'm there. I grew up going to Dr. V and I, unlike many of my peers, have never feared the dentist. Dr. Venincasa is one of the kindest, most professional people around and I am always well taken care of. By both him and his staff. I ended up moving away and had to get another dentist. One visit with that new dentist and I was terrified to go back. Dr Venincasa is a very charismatic person and is very professional. I never had to worry about his expertise or his suggestions. Although, I woke up to a root canal, which I had never experienced before. I tried to schedule an immediate appointment, but I was told I had to wait three days. I tried to endure one more day, but I called the office again pleading for an immediate appointment telling them I was literally in tears and couldn't sleep let alone lay down, but I was told there was nothing they could do. I'm not certain if they've ever really experienced the pain of such, which I doubt, or they really just didn't want to squeeze me in. I was hoping Dr Venincasa would be my family dentist for a very long time, but due to the lack of sympathy on this situation, I had to turn away. I finally found an amazing dentist. Just for kicks and grins I started to compare the cost of service between my current dentist and this office. Needless to say the charges from this office was substantially more than my current dentist. Not to mention, this office had a "dental plan" for me when I first came in, which was more than $3k with a suggestion of applying for GE carecredit to pay for it. I started going to Dr V in 1989 when my Dad discovered him as the Young Dentist of the Year. I have been going to Dr V ever since and have never been disappointed in my treatment. Not only do I consider Dr V a friend, but also someone who has the best interest of my teeth in mind along with developing a plan together for them. His hygienists are extremely thorough along with a gentle touch as they are working. Dr V then comes in to check my teeth and discuss any issues that he might see. I feel so good everytime knowing that he has a practice where he is constantly involved in checking the progress of my teeth and catching any issue right in the beginning. I have always felt that he keeps up with the best dental practices and is constantly keeping himself and his staff educated on what is best for the patient. I was employed in the medical-related field all of my life, and I feel confident saying that Mark Venincasa, DDS is by far one of, if not, the most proficient, professional, personable and yet still affordable Dentists I have encountered in my entire life. He and his staff are top notch in every respect and way above what one might expect of a dental office. They are all friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, accurate, proficient and caring. I loved going to Dr. Venincasa's office. Kay (the receptionist) helped me with all my many questions. She was the first impression and she made the most memerable one. I spoke with her over the phone when I was looking around for Doctors. She wsa so helpful and knowledgeable I just had to go check this place out. Talk about personal service! The oral hygenist was so friendly and informative about everything she was working with in my mouth. I loved the connection I made with everyone at the office. And then there's Dr. Venincasa! What a guy! He was very assurig and positive. After my exam he even walked me to the front and escorted me to Kay for further breakdowns of follow ups and helpful information. Not only that, but he gives out great refferrals! If you're looking for a warm and welcoming experience I highly recomend this office. This office goes above and beyond to get you where you need to be and can help you with any questions. They really have out done any other doctor's place that I've been to. I found Dr. Venincasa while searching online for a conservative dentist in the Dallas area after being told by another dentist at a routine cleaning that I needed 8 cavities filled ASAP. Dr. Venincasa described himself as being "middle of the road" explaining that he isn't too proactive in fixing things that may not need fixed but that he also isn't so conservative that he's going to ignore something that may become an issue down the road. He only found one cavity that needed filling and also suggested preventative resin to prevent decalcification and possible decay elsewhere in my mouth. When I had my filling done, I was surprised by the extremely high quality of care! Dr. Venincasa came in promptly and then stayed with me the whole time, even while waiting for the numbness to take effect. It was the most pain-less filling I've ever experienced. He is an honest dentist who I am very comfortable entrusting with my dental health! I won't be going anywhere else! :) read more
