Visiting the Wagon Yard was near perfect on a recent trip to Granbury. Allow me to explain. South of North Texas you'll find in recent years newly made in Mexico metal signs with minimal tack weld featuring everything from Longhorns, Aggies, Wine, Bar's open...etc. Point being I found every room unique and a bit above the norm for Texas kitsch. Ok, a few things are a carbon copy. Yet, I found some excellent pottery and signs that I haven't seen before. Alot of aviation options, and furniture that seems to be from the area with options for customization. Glad I took a stroll a half block of the square and visited the Wagon Yard.

She charged me for an hour and a half. I called her and complained shortly after she left, she agreed to refund half an hour labor, but never did. I called her to follow up and she just refused. The materials she used were approximately $240 from Home Depot. She charged me $370 for the material. I expect people to quote a fair price, and stick to it. I do not expect people to be looking for a way to hide an extra hundred dollars in their bill.

Every other contractor, many of the high end designers in Southlake area, priced the cabinets for my kitchen remodel between $20k-$40k. The quote I got back from this place was $89k!?!?! Just for kitchen cabinets! The entire remodel was going to be $200k+ whereas I've signed with someone else for half that price. I recommend going to the showroom, get some ideas then get your pricing from someone else. I definitely don't need kitchen cabinets that cost $89k, even if they will last through an atomic war! :)

My generous calculations being familiar with going rates: 2 service calls at $150 each-----------$300 5 hr plumber at $120/hr---------------$600 16 hr laborers at $30/hr---------------$480 Materials------------------------------------$100 --------- $1480 total (padded amt) I was charged $2,174, the unfortunate fact is most plumbing needs are near emergency and you are at the plumbing companies' mercy and they most charge accordingly. Review any company you intend to hire.

Others had given me a phone estimate of about $300 plus parts with parts on the truck. I feel I was grossly over-charged and while they did great work back in 2017, never again. I don't like being taken advantage of. Money's too hard to come by for retirees. I DO NOT recommend these folks. Besides, the tech started getting pushy about getting the maintenance contract. Just like other big-name HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing companies these days.
