Then he had me listen (via speaker phone) while he discussed the situation with his Boss. They pressed to set a date to replace the system but I told them I had to think it over. I did get a second opinion the next day from a neighbor's HVAC company. He reported that there was not a gas leak and everything was good. Summary: 1) Check references when a company has been purchased. 2) Get a second opinion when you are made to feel that something must be decided immediately. 3) Be suspicious.
