This branch has the WORST customer service ever. They refused to accept my returned items even though their corporate website stated that you can return items past 30 day for a store credit as long as you have the receipt and tags attached. I showed the cashier their policy but she was lazy to look up my transactions giving some lame excuse that it was probably no longer in the system. Go to the Danville location instead and they were able to verify my transactions and process the credits for me. The cashiers and manager (Adrian) at the Danville location were awesome. Marshalls corporate should have them go and train the folks at the Dublin location. read more

I came here to buy a gift card for a X'mas present, and end up leaving with four pairs of Nike athletic socks for $8. That may seem expensive, but a pair had an MSRP of $12. These socks have moisture wicking material to combat stench, cushioned heel and forefoot area and a supportive arch for comfort, plus a cool grey/blk color. All for $8! Oh, and if you're have to wear dress socks for work (Men), forget paying full price at Macy's! Again, check this place out ... with brands like Gold Toe, Polo, Nautica.... If you're a baller then go to Macy's. If you're a baller on a budget, come here instead. read more

After I visit the Marshalls in Danville, I also stop by the Dublin store. You really have to visit often to find great deals, and yes their inventory changes constantly. The shoe section is finally remodeled, and I like the changes they made. The shoe section is very large, good selection, and well organized into categories (casual, dressy, etc). Unlike the Danville store, the employees are cool about customers returning items and don't even ask the reason for returning an item. This store has great selection of clothes for women, men, children, and for the home. I was able to score some really great deals here, I got a Juicy couture velour hoodie for 20 bucks :) Keep digging those sale racks, and you will find a great deal! Oh yeah...make sure you line up BEHIND the BLUE LINE!!! The employees are really picky about people crossing the blue line when you go line up to pay for an item. read more

This isn't the best or the worst Marshall's that I've been to. But, I was able to find 2 really great finds for my upcoming trip. A Zebra corset top for my night at OG in Vegas, and a cute Vertigo dress, for our first night of clubbing! I didn't really like the set up too much. But, what really matters is the selection. Was very disturbed by the manager (it was an older male) yelling at an elderly associate that he had no one to cover her sanitation station at the carts then proceeded to stand by the doors doing absolutely nothing. Fortunately another associate came back from her lunch but my heart broke when I heard her explained to him that he knows she has a medical condition and should have done something to help her. Definitely will not be going back if the workers are not being treated like actual human beings. read more

This is a great location to come to. I was able to find lots of good finds that I couldn't next door at Ross. It's very clean and well organized and there is a ton of merchandise. I was surprised at how many good beauty finds they had. Prices are amazing and even though the line was long it went by super fast. This appears to be attributed to good management of the business and staffing because they had lots of people checking. I will definitely be back to this location in the future. read more

I mostly wear dresses, and I find there is more selection next door at Ross, but Marshalls isn't bad. I just got a long sleeved Talbot's polka dot dress for 15 dollars, a summery dress for 10, and a Calvin Klein mod dress for 20. Not bad! I don't shop here for anything non clothes related. I've also found slacks, sweaters, and shirts here, and the prices really are quite reasonable. The service is nice, they staff the registers appropriately so you don't wait long, and the store is pretty well organized and they try to put things back in the right places. I love this place! I have found great bedsheets, birthday gifts, bakeware, plates and home decor at this Marshalls. I am officially addicted. Although, I do feel you have to be assertive when shopping at this particular Marshalls, since items can get picked-through a lot but I always find something great to buy. My recent purchases have included some 400 thread count white bedsheets (they feel more like 800 count), heavy duty Cuisinart Nonstick Bakeware (love it!), and some Cynthia Rowley designed dessert plates for a little over $1 ea. Now, that I am familiar with the greatest that is Marshalls, I think I'll start my shopping here before anywhere else. read more

I've been to the Marshalls in Dublin a few times and every time I've gone there I walk out a happy camper! I always manage to score some really good bargains AND I always find shoes I like in my size (6 1/2) and that's not always the case, when I go shopping. They have a large parking lot and there is always plenty of parking. An added bonus, If you don't find anything you're looking for in Marshalls, Ross is right next door. The clothes, for a discount place, are pretty well organized. I've been to some places where you really have to dig to find your size. Since I'm not one that likes to shop a lot and, I like to get in and get out, I gave Marshalls 4 stars. Today, when there were more than five people in line, they opened up more cash registers. Perhaps it's because they had the personnel available since it's the holiday season. The dressing room is quite large. The door locks work. There's nothing worse than someone walking in on you and hitting you in the bum when you're bent over putting something on. There were hooks to hang your clothes on and there were mirrors in all of the dressing rooms. Oh and the dressing rooms were clean. Today I managed to score a couple of unique Christmas gifts . And so again.....I did walk out, A HAPPY CAMPER! Oh... I almost forgot to mention, I found a cute black dress to wear to the Yelp Christmas party and yes..... I love myself a good Marshall's! Having moved to the area recently, I was unsure if this Marshall's would be as great as the one I love in Sacramento. Sure enough, it didn't disappoint! I will always love Marshall's for it's cheap and cute clothes, it housewares, and it's all around atmosphere. This Marshall's is clean, organized, and the staff are relatively friendly. Any store like Marshall's is going to be hit and miss- that's the nature of it! You can't come in with a closed mind. Personally, I always find something cute for a great price. Excellent price on brand name apparels. I shop here for the clothing for my kids. It is pretty reckless to pay full price on something that can only be worn for a year or so if not only several months as kids grow so fast. I wish this store had faster checkout though. Sometimes the line gets so long people give up waiting. But just because their price is so good, most people, including me, would stay on. And the items they have alongside the checkout line are sometimes irresistable. I end up getting extra item or two but never regret. read more

I absolutely love Marshalls, especially this one (I stop in and spend my hard earned money whenever I'm in the vicinity). However, I will no longer frequent this establishment. I walk in with my reusable bag, returns; purchased from the Pleasant Hill store and RECEIPT. Fast forwarding a tad I looked around and found an outfit (shorts and a tank) for my niece. Great! I walked to the front of the store with my selections and proceeded to wait in the extremely long line. As my turn approached, I proceeded to register 5 and to my horror the following happen: - I sat my returns on the counter and handed the associate my receipt. - She scrupulously inspected my items (two pair of white jeans that I had no business buying) to the point where I felt offended and thought maybe I should just tell her to smell the crouch of the pants. - She then inspects my receipt and says (loudly) that she doubts Marshalls sell pants like these and needed to make sure I wasn't trying to I assume "pull a fast one." - After talking to the Manager and in turn the manger inspecting the pants they send an associate to check the racks for those type of pants (cut and frayed at the bottom). - I stood there more embarrassed than I've ever been, looking around while all of the customers who are in the line and the associates at the nearest registers glare at me. (If I weren't African American of medium complexion I believe I would've turned beet red). - The associate then comes back to the register saying how she needs to just make sure that the items were from Marshalls...I tell her to just ring up my new items and I would return the pants to the Pleassent Hill location. - Still embarrassed I approached the manager and ask him what was the issue with the items... He replies, "I'm pretty sure we told her that those pants were ours and could be returned. The manager did offer to open up another register so that I could return the pants and not have to wait in line again, but I too embarrassed to linger in the store a moment longer. I left embarrassed and confused but deciding to NEVER spend another dime of my money at this store! Problem solved. read more

I was surprised to see that there's a Ross a couple stores down from here, but I'm used to Marshall's so came here to look for gifts. Went straight to the homeware selection and found a couple of nice mugs. Surprised to see that they carry Kate Spade and Lenox brand china now. Appreciated that the store was fairly organized and the staff remained friendly and efficient even during the holiday season. read more

We dropped by here when we wanted to check out Ross, since we have never seen a Ross before. The place was really messy from people ravaging through all the inventory. They did have an assortment of home goods, clothing and random things like Ross. It is a really cheap place to get regular white socks for under $10. The thing that puts it sub par was the lack of staffing. I saw only 1 cashier and people cutting in front of each other to try to check out faster. How petty! read more

Wow. (and that's not a good Wow.) So my fiance and I went to Marshalls last night to purchase some new bed sheets. The shopping it self was ok but it was the people they have working there that makes me say "wow." You can tell that Marshalls is a step above your Good will and the "quality" individuals that they hire are really questionable. So while I was walking through the store there were Young "thug" looking white dudes. Although I had no interaction with them I was like wow. They work here? Maybe Marshalls participates a juvenile hall transition program? Anyway, the big "wow" came when we were in line paying for our bed sheets. First there were two registers open and they both were slow as a snail. Register one was a young female, well dressed and was probably a high school senior or college freshman. Lane two was a young white kid who had his over sized Ecko Unltd. shirt and his south pole jeans on. Young maybe 19 to 22 years old. So he was helping an African American gentleman and the girl on register one was helping an Indian gentleman. The Indian gentleman was paying for his purchase with travelers check and she did not know how to process that transaction. So she asks thug boy on register two. His response to her was (with attitude) "Hold up, let me finish with homeboy first". The then takes a sip of out of his burger king cup and says "shit, I don't even know what that was". All in a loud voice. I just thought "wow". How can a large store like this hire someone and put them in the front of the store like this. This really shows Marshall's commitment to providing good customer service. Yes, their prices are cheap and they have some good stuff but don't expect a good experience with their customer service. read more

I have to give the Returns Lady huge props. I dropped and temporarily lost my Ray Bans. Thinking I would never get them back I ranted around the store for them. The Lady at returns was so kind. She helped me find my sunglasses. She made my day by simply offering a little bit of faith! Out of all the TJX companies, I would say Marshalls is right in the middle. Ross feels like a cheap run down thrift store, but Marshalls is somewhat better. Sometimes it feels dirty and gross, but there's usually some nice things there. It's great to find discounted shoes, but not so hot for trending clothes. I do like Marshalls, for the value and home good selection. But attitude from this store's manager is less than professional. I had a pair of kids' shoes to return. Kid got blister after walking in it briefly (from our house to neighbor's pool). There was no return allowed since "the shoes had been worn". The manager advised to have the kid try walking in the house first to break it in. I'm sorry, but that's not always realistic, especially when the flooring in the house doesn't create the same impact to feet. I understood the return policy, as the manager arrogantly pointed to the sign above the clerk's head, but vowed that I'd not NEVER buy another pair of shoes from Marshalls, no matter how good the value seems. Poor customer service and return policy. For shoes, especially kids, buy from places with more lenient exchange or return policy is the safest route, especially when poor fitting is not usually detected at purchase with brief try-on. read more

I think this location has a pretty good selection. Yes, the employees are not the most competent or friendly. But it's gotten better with organization and name brand availability. This store would get a 5 star because I always find gems here and I like the staff but because of one specific employee. I had a horrible experience at this store one day by one employee by the name of Jong (I might be spelling it incorrectly.) And when I tried to tell her she could have spoke to me in a different way and helped me rather then being short, rude and not understanding me question she started to get upset and speak to me loudly. She gave me an apology that was EXTREMELY sarcastic and when I told her I didn't need one and that I felt she didn't actually meant it and I was only telling her this for future customers she yelled "I already apologized and you keep going on and on. What do you want me to do?" And stormed off!!! I felt so mortified and when I walked outside I even had an other customer ask me if I was okay!! If retail is not for you GET A NEW JOB! The customer is not always right in my opinion but there needs to be a level of professionalism and respect. SOMETHING SHE LACKS A LOT OF! read more

I mean, I've bought a couple things there - perfume I love at 60% off of the department store price; a shirt my BF loves, but I could take or leave. This used to be one of my favorite places to shop. Lots of bargains and great brands, well laid out and organized, great selection across all sizes. Very recently the store went through a reset. Now the quality has dropped dramatically, things are mislabled or not labled at all and there is much less to choose from in my size (4-6). The only redeeming quality is now the shoe department. Very disappointing as I have been a loyal shopper here for years and have recommended the store to dozens of people. read more

It's a great alternative for us who are frugal but still wants good clothes and shoes. I always score on cute dresses and shirts and skirts. In fact, some of my most favorite clothes came from this store. They can improve a bit on organizing the racks, and it's good that I can see some improvement from the last time I've been there. Sizes properly labeled and no clothes strewn on the floor. They have good selection for shoes too, but you better snap it up quick since the popular sizes (like 7) disappear fast. The fitting rooms are clean, well-lighted and the ladies managing it are always nice. I like the soap/shampoo/perfume selection. I love giving those fancy soaps as gifts. Can't find stuff like that in your typical Walmart or Target. Can't comment much on the kitchen/toys section since I rarely check out those areas. I find it a little strange that they have those snacks there. It just seems so out of place. read more

I usually go for shopping in marshalls whenever I have second thought going besides than mall so I love it plus it does have lots of brand.
