Not only did they hem my wedding dress, they brought it in so it fit perfectly and they added sleeves - exactly as I wanted. They allowed me to come in for fittings as needed and made sure my dress fit like a dream. I also needed a dress tailored for our wedding dance which included adding a split so I could lunge, hemming it to remove the train, bringing it in and adding sleeves. They nailed it!! They were so awesome that I ended up having three other dresses altered in addition to my wedding dresses. Now let's talk cost. The value was SO REASONABLE! The shop where I purchased my dress wanted to charge me triple what I paid at Abel De Valente. So glad I stumbled on this mom-and-pop, family-owned shop! Horatio is the tailor and very exact when pinning and measuring. There was no rush as I tried on all 11 articles of clothing I had brought in for some type of alteration. Horatio reviews every item with you, the work necessary, and the price 50% deposit was required but credit cards are accepted. Sooooooooooooooooooo, when will 11 articles of clothing be ready for pick-up? 2 to 3 days ~ I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. Believe me when I say that I have visited my fair share of tailors ~ but ~ this one gets 2 thumbs up and my vote for best, reliable job. Also, convenient hours and very accommodating.

The store is similar to an outlet but carries unsold catalog items at a major discount. They carry pants size 30+ so this is a great place for hard-to-fit guys. Everything was neat and organized with everything categorized by size. My guy was able to find 2 pairs of dress pants, 2 sweaters, and 2 dress shirts for less than $100. Yes, you read that right! They lose one star for the apathetic gentleman who was working there. I asked him if we could start a dressing room. He merely motioned in the direction of the fitting rooms and grunted. Riiiight. Didn't notice any Fitting room there.  But you can return items within 14 days just as long as you have all the tags in place and the receipt.  Shoes, however, you can try on. The clearance deal is also cool. For teenagers it is a great place to shop.

You call with a question she's makes it known on the phone that she's in a hurry. This for me is a negative because if I'm going to go drop over a hundred dollars on a item at your business then I should not be rushed take the time to attend your customers in a professional manner. Rushing a paying customer is a turn off this isn't the drive thru and it's bad for business customers should not feel they are a burden when they are paying a good dollar for items. This is the quickest way to loose a customer and I hope I don't experience this when I go back.
