This Marshall's was pretty organized and had a decent stock of items. I do feel like it's generally a smaller location and things are a bit more spaced out. I loved checking out all the Halloween decor as well as some of the other home goods. The prices are pretty fair for most items. I'm naturally like those TikTok's when they guess what the price is and if it's over what you guessed you put the item back, because you probably don't need it anyways. I am a SERIOUS shopper.... years ago in the '70's i started out as a personal shopper store wide at 58 th Street NYC Bloomingdales. So i know textiles, quality of construction, price points. And this Marshalls is not getting the quality merchandise they used to get / years ago. Women's clothing us almost a disaster. Fabric, construction, wearability after repeated washing, poor poor poor. I now rate this dept a one star. I stopped looking.. Luggage: used to be one of their top departments where every now and then you found quality labels and some very good construction. Rate a 3 star. Men's clothing you must read labels, examine fabric construction quality VERY carefully i rate a 4 star. All shoes are simply terrible, a one star. Don't even look. Women's lingerie under garments: HUGE drop in quality . Bras have inferior non stretching elastic, most of inventory has manufacturing defects ( must try on), very poor materials. Rate one star. Women's sleep wear: hunt VERY carefully, this was a top dept. rate 3-4 star. Read labels, examine quality of fabrics carefully. Bedding towels: this WAS a 5 star area, now 2-3. VERY high prices, very poor boring selection of prints styles colors. HUGE disappointment. Decorative/ kitchen/ housewares: one of the only areas which is still good. Hunt very carefully, some prices are TOO high. Rate 3-5 star Food products: WAS my favorite, now a 4 star. watch out for very high prices. Some items are poor low quality mfg trying to copy the " look" of famous $$ brands. Lotions /hair products/ face creams/ soaps: The MOST drastic change of all with many products disguised with copy cat labels of expensive brands WHEN in fact... they are poorly made cheaply in CHINA where ingredients for safety etc are poorly monitored. Take GREAT care what you apply to your face. Rate one star. These changes have happened very very fast in the last 18 months- 2 years. Read your sunday sale fliers for bargains at Target, Macy's, Walgreen Target's cosmetics have improved a lot and at decent price points. Marshalls is trying to increase their profits by stocking with pretty packaged decorated designed colored " pretend" products made very poorly in China. READ labels VERY carefully. Take more time to hunt CAREFULLY. There are still some good buys, just not as many. read more

I am a Marshalls fan and this is one of the go to locations if I need something quick. I stopped by looking for a couple of sweaters for a trip out of town, like the cover up type sweaters and some essential oil. Ambiance: Standard Marshalls, though I noticed that each location seems to specialize in one department more than others. I think this location always has nice home items and beauty items/perfumes, etc. Usually pretty clean and today was no different. Service: The cashier at this location was a pleasant older lady, who greeted me like a niece or granddaughter. For me, personable service is nice.. not too personable where you're calling me hon, sweetie and you're my peer #nobuenos , but the right touch is nice and this lady met that. Line was long, but moved pretty quick. Management jumped in and took on a register. #allwaysnice I found some things I liked, which is never the problem, so I will of course be back. I always do. Marshalls - Department Stores Near Me - Richfield, Minnesota

I need winter boots for my older son. This store had no boots for his age. No decent gloves for his size. Found a couple of things for my other kids but by then the toddler started a meltdown so we made our way to the front to leave. As I was parking the cart I heard the cashiers snidely saying everyone knows you leave the store when the baby starts crying. Why doesn't this person know that? Oh my goodness you horrible harpies. That is exactly what I was doing in the first place. It's hard enough to deal with toddler tantrums, but then have nasty people like that making rude comments? No thank you. I don't care how convenient the location. Will not go here again. read more

The thing I really like about Marshalls, is the fact that I can go in and find some really nice work appropriate clothes that look nice and are cheap.. Or at least a great discount. I hate shopping for work clothes, because I don't like having to look "professional" on a daily basis. I'm more of a T'shirt and jeans kinda girl and I'm ok with that. Although, I do like to dress up and wear dresses and sweaters too...! Marshalls, usually has a pretty good selection of cardigans, suits, skirts, and shoes. I buy A LOT of shoes from here. I'm trying to have a huge selection of shoes by the time I'm 30, so I'm starting to buy, and buy.. It probably isn't the best idea, but I seem to like it a lot. Over Christmas, I bought some Christmas gifts here as well. I guess you could call me a "cheapo" person. But really, I just hate shopping unless it's for me.. so I guess, I'm a 'selfish" person... I'll accept that! Anyways, I ended up with some cute little Christmas-y serving trays and throws that worked out perfect for office gifts, and gifts for the people of my family that I don't see that often or know very well. I love Marshalls, at first I was weary about them, but after like millions of stops in to shop, they've really impressed me. The best thing, is that they are located all around the cities and each have different inventory. The downtown store has better shoes than most, and more professional wear. For some reason, I can never find anything I like in this flippin' Marshalls! It pains me to write this because I eat at the Mexican restaurant at the Hub so much and to not have a good Marshalls here just seems like a crime! First, I think this one is quite a bit smaller than the Southdale location. Secondly, not only is it smaller in size, I think the selection for clothes in general is smaller. They never seem to have a good selection of clothes when I shop here and the layout of the store makes me claustrophobic. The layout of this store doesn't seem conducive to browsing. I just feel like I need to leave once I get in here or else I keep bumping into people. read more

Why is this Marshalls even still opened? I came here to grab my little brother a nice shirt for a family function and called prior to see if they had a specific color. Whomever I spoke with told me that they did and of course we got there and they didn't. When I went and searched for other dress type clothes for men they pretty much had nothing! Where are the clothes? The selection is so limited to a point it's actually pretty sad! Employee's standing around talking about the next week's schedule and who shouldn't be on it and other job drama the customer shouldn't over hear... I would never return....simple! read more

This Marshalls, is well, a Marshalls. I stopped here looking for an item (a shampoo & conditioner set one of my guests requested) and was greeted with the most unwelcoming half smile/hello any individual has ever given me; I nicely said hello and quickly scattered to the section I needed to be in. The store was overall, messy (I think they may have been doing stock, so I'll give them that). The employees were not that pleasant, but I'm not there to chat. The items I was searching for were no where to be found, even though everyone else stocks them. When I asked about it, I was informed that Marshalls hasn't stocked that brand in two years; um yes, yes they have. This store told me to check Amazon and left it at that. Since its Marshalls, I'll leave it at 3 stars; since I love Marshalls regardless, but seriously the employees need to check their attitude at the motorized door!! read more

I'm a thrifty shopper and I love getting great things for Super Cheap!!! And the quality is generally very good. Even Name Brands I have never even heard of before, Yes, you have sold me on your cute designs and quality material! And that Price! This store has everything you could need, all in one unorganized, slightly clustered place. If you don't mind digging a little to find that hidden treasure that you've always wanted, or didn't know you wanted! It will be worth it! If you want amazing heavy duty pots and pan, this is where you go. They might have a dent on the side, but that wont keep your food stuck to the bottom! Plus, throw in a garlic infused olive oil for only $3 compared to the original $10 label price. Mmm...Delish! Each Marshall's location is obviously different in its own unique gem kind of style. My favorite it the one located in the lower level of Southdale Mall. (Enter through the side JCPenney's Door) I think they have a slightly bigger selection, and besides, who wants to drive to the MOA to shop and be in all that mess? Southdale Marshall's has a great selection of designer shoes and boots. Stylish clothes to workout clothes, and even great outdoor gear! Plus you can always find a fun accessory for the wall, table, kitchen, or even your tummy! Not always sure of the expiration date, but I admit, I've bought some tasty treats a time or two! read more
