Another departure from Har Mar. I haven't been to a Marshalls in many years or is it decades. This store is bigger and brighter, I mean bright as I wore my darkest shades and had no problem seeing tiny price tags. Not shopping for myself as I was helping another look for shoes. A sloppy assortment of not to well made shoes and sandals. The problem is lack of a bench to try shoes on. Awkwardly standing in the aisle trying to get shoes on and beware of others trying to get through and do the same sampling. Shoe departments and even shoe stores could use a measuring device. Only Boomers and Xs probably remember those. I know the companies will say people only steal them. But they could be fastened to the floor or secured with a binder better. I was going to buy a clearance dog toy before I realized it had a rip in it so I got a different one and my dog ripped it anyway (such is life!) The people that work here are the most unfriendly people I've encountered at a Marshall's or TJMaxx. I frequent this store and I've never once been greeted. The cashiers are nice, not the managers. This is one of the Marshalls I used to go to a lot but I've noticed it's gotten more messier and hard to keep up with. They always do have great selection of things when it comes to decorations and bedding. Sometimes the clothes can be iffy and fitting rooms can use a serious cleaning. Oh where do I begin. First and foremost I was trying to film content so let's start there. I went to marshals because they sell the coffee syrups for you to make at home. I walk in from the har mar mall side and straight to the syrup because I know where they are. As I'm looking for which flavor I want I start to notice the same lady along with another lady steady walking past me and watching me as if I'm going to steal. I am on the phone with my mom phone trying to get her to hurry up and pick a flavor because when the girl decided to walk past my right side and then popped up on my left side meant they were watching me because they all just kept walking around circles around me looking at me dead in my face like they were going to need picture memory and as soon as I get to checkout all of a sudden the supervisor is there and all of a sudden Roseville PD show up. I had on snow pants and a jacket like what am I gone steal? I wasn't the only person in that aisle to begin with so to be singled out like that I already knew and to think they were following DEI is baffling. So to my fellow people of color, be aware and grab a cart cuz if you don't they'll follow you. I only needed 2 flavors is why I didn't have a cart. read more

Always catch a great deal at Marshall's. You can find just about anything here. From home decor, furniture, kitchen utensils, bathroom, bedroom, food, beauty, exercise, clothes (sleepwear, active wear, outer wear, lingerie, casual, business attire, dresses) luggage, things for men, women, kids and dog. One of my favorite finds are gift bags and cards. High quality at a much lower price. Purchased beautiful cards and bags for 2 dollars! Only downside, though fun for some is that the inventory is random. Picked through. Always check quality as well. Many times I've come across damaged items, holes, snags, marks, or broken items. Have to hunt to find the treasures. Long wait times many times at checkout. Variety of women's and men's sizes from junior sizes to plus size available. read more

I am a SERIOUS shopper.... years ago in the '70's i started out as a personal shopper store wide at 59th Street NYC Bloomingdales. So i know textiles, quality of construction, price points. And Marshalls is not getting the quality merchandise they used to get years ago Women's clothing is almost a disaster. Fabric, construction, wearability after repeated washing, poor poor poor. I now rate this dept a one star. I stopped looking.. Luggage: used to be one of their top departments where every now and then you found quality labels and some very good construction. Rate a 3 star. Men's clothing you must read labels, examine fabric construction quality VERY carefully i rate a 4 star. All shoes i find of very poor materials and construction-- will not last, a one star. I stopped looking. Women's lingerie under garments: HUGE drop in quality . Bras have inferior non stretching elastic, most of inventory i have found has manufacturing defects ( must try on), very poor materials. Rate one star. Women's sleep wear: hunt VERY carefully, this was a top dept. rate 3-4 star. Read labels, examine quality of fabrics carefully. Some good deals esp on sale. Bedding towels: this WAS a 5 star area, now 2-3. VERY high prices, very poor boring selection of prints styles colors. HUGE disappointment... was a favorite dept. Decorative/ kitchen/ housewares: one of the only areas which is still good. Hunt very carefully, some prices are too high. Rate 3-5 star Food products: WAS my favorite, now a 3-4 star. watch out for very high prices. Some items are poor low quality mfg trying to copy the " look" of famous $$ brands. Their Xmas butter cookies had very little if no butter at all. Lotions /hair products/ face creams/ soaps: The MOST drastic change of all with many products disguised with copy cat labels trying to appear like expensive brands WHEN in fact... they are poorly made cheaply in CHINA -- where ingredients for safety etc are very poorly monitored......... Take GREAT care what you apply to your face. Rate one star. These changes have happened very very fast in the last 18 months- 2 years. Very sad. Read your sunday sale fliers for bargains at Target, Macy's, Walgreens and Saks Fifth Ave's Off Fifth store downtown Minneapolis sales. Target's cosmetics have improved a GREAT deal and at decent price points. Beautiful colorations and innovative eye shadows. Marshalls is trying to increase their profits by stocking with pretty packaged decorated designed colored " pretend" products made very poorly in China. READ labels VERY carefully. Take more time to hunt CAREFULLY. There are still some good buys, just not as many. We do work hard for our money. Everything is an " investment". read more

I meant to write a review for Marshall's corporate office - so I hope this relays the kudos anyway. I was particularly impressed with one young girl who checked me out. I scored a cute pair of booties, but I was rushed enough to not realize they were two lefts!!! How annoyed I would have been. Desii I think her name was took the time to check, double check and get me a pair. :) The store itself isn't better or worse than any other Marshall's or similar type store I have visited - however because of the employees I would be more inclined to visit. read more

As far as Marshall's go...this is a little gem ---it had a facelift in the past two years and seems fresh. They carry a big selection of nicer clothing--more than a lot of the marshalls I have been too. I was able to pick up a fabric shower curtain and the upgraded hooks for it for all under 10.00....My daughter got herself a name brand workout pants and top for under 40.00 If she would have purchased this at an athletic boutique it would have been well over 120.00. She was tickled with her find. they had a really nice colorful selection of name brand men's ties and most of them were 10.00...the tommy bahama ties were around 20.00 and they had so many nice young man clothing options for great prices....if you are on the smaller size... read more

When I'm looking for things in this Marshalls store, it is normally easy for me to do as everything is tidy and well organized. The staff let you get on with what your doing and are happy to help when needed. During recent visits however I've been disappointed to see that their doors are either broken or faulty which means they are partially open leaving this store a little cold. I've also found waiting in line at the checkout to be pretty cold as its next to these doors. I feel sorry for the staff working here! Overall this place is pretty good with your usual selection of goods you expect at a Marshalls store. Why the 3 star rating? I popped in here on the recommendation of a friend. I was totally disappointed. The store was in disarray and not particularly clean. I guess that I should have known by its location in an aging mall that's far past its prime. I did pick up a couple of items, so that the trip would not be a complete loss. The staff was not particularly helpful at any point, but the cashier that checked me out was plain rude. I never had the opportunity to read her name tag, but she was either disgustingly fat or well into pregnancy. Her hair was unkempt and her clothes were disheveled and generally untidy. She offered no greeting or thanks and spoke in a tone as if I were some sort of annoyance. Nothing about this place went towards earning a return trip. And thanks to the cashier, I have absolutely nothing nice to say here or to anyone about Marshalls. read more

Not too bad, I've seen worse ones before but you do have to dig a bit here. I've found some great deals on calvin klein sheets and comforter sets. They all have some very nice frames at great prices here, I only wish they had more than one of each one sometimes if you wanted to hang a few of the same frame. The pet department is pretty good here with lots of treat for fido and some cute dog beds. Also had some luck in bath and body stuff, they have a nice selection of that here as well. read more

Marshalls - Department Stores Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

While this Marshalls is located in kind of a dinky strip mall (Har Mar) I've been coming here since I moved to Minnesota in 1997. It has a fairy descent selection of clothes and bags. I've never bought a pair of shoes here so I can't speak for the shoe selection. Although, they classed this place up a big way in terms of the shoe department by having the shoes displayed on top and the shoe boxes stacked on the bottom like a regular shoe store. (Note: I believe they've done this at all Marshalls.)This is a major aesthetic improvement from when they had the shoes crowded on high shelves strung together. In recent months, I've had pretty good luck with their activewear section and scored some MPG and Kyodan. I also bought some new pots and pans from Wolfgang Puck which I'm quite happy with along with storage bins. The checkout lines don't seem long here and the people that work the dressing rooms are courteous and helpful. Returns are easy-peasy. read more

I come to these discount outlets when I want to update the wardrobe but don't feel the need to spend major ducats on trendy items. This particular store is more of the dumpster-diving bargain bin shopping experiences that your Burlington Coat Factories and TJ Maxxs provide. It's dumpy and located in a dumpy mall (Har-Mar? giggle) but compared to the other Marshall I've investigated here, has a lot more product and thus more opportunities to score. read more

This Marshall's has improved considerably lately. The most notable improvement is in the fitting rooms. The rooms now come equipped with flattering lighting, doors that adequately close without gaps around the edges, ample hooks, and a three-way mirror that you can use discreetly without feeling like everyone is peering at you. read more

Bought a curling wand that doesn't work - defeffected!!! Good shape, still in box, but I couldn't find the receipt. Went to exchange for another item. Customer service rep said that the bar code is "unknown". She is not able to issue store credit for me to exchange for another item. Manager stepped in to say, "sorry, can't do it without receipt". I said that it's broken. What good does it do me? She said take it back. Okay it's useless. Customer service sucks! I requested that they look up my credit card. Manager says, "that would take days". There is nothing she can do unless I have the receipt. I got very upset and left the broken curling wand there. What I should I DONE is buy a lot of shit and turn around to return it so that it affects their sale of the night. Never shopping at that location and never Marshalls ever again. read more

So today I decided to come to this Marshall's willing to go buy makeup . I was walking around and looking at the shades of eyebrow pencils they had. Then this lady comes from behind me and takes it away as if I was going to steal it or something. Never felt this disrespected. She then kept following us around like as if I wanted to steal something that has already been used . Never again coming back. The way they treated us was not something that I'll recommend.
