The most disorganized Marshalls I've ever been to. It's up there with the Bergen Town Center and Riverside (Madison/Arlington), CA locations. The clothes that are on the actual racks aren't organized well. On several visits, I was belabored by disorganization in my quest for Calvin Klein crew necks. During my last visit, I was on the hunt for a decent fleece. I wasn't expecting to find North Face, but I was hoping for more than High Sierra. I left without a fleece but I did find a good deal on dress socks and I was finally able to locate a pack of Calvin Klein crew necks, size large. And don't think the mess is due to it being close to Christmas. I've shopped here in the summer and came across the same amount of disorganization. The only difference between holiday and non-holiday season is the amount of associates at the cash wrap. And that's this store's saving grace; you won't wait in line for long. But boy is it a mess...

While shopping in this store today, I suddenly screamed in pain something stuck in my foot. My daughter came running over what happen I couldn't respond right away from pain. A few minutes later a realized there was a sensor pin stuck in my foot. My daughter called for the store manager the whole time I'm watching with my foot bleeding they going back and forth what do the customer want. I held up my hands and said I want you right here. Someone on the register answered I'm coming. The lady comes over fixing the carts barely making eye contact with me. I say are you the manager umm yes I am one of the managers your name please Vicki. Okay, Vicki there is a sensor stuck in my shoe it went through my foot. Are you bleeding yes: you want a bandaid and alcohol, yes only to not have any. I left the store after 5 minutes of looking for the store number. We get out in the doorway the employee are in a huddle laughing and talking about my injury. The tall black guy was literally mimicking me calling for the manager by waving his hands in the air saying look at me everybody look at me over here. The didn't realized we had walked back in the store and was watching them. SHAME ON YOU MARSHALS. Is this the way you train management to deal with sensitive issue. I have been shopping at Marshals for over 25 years this disgusted me. The lack of dis concern Vicki showed, letting her staff make fun of a terrible incident out in front where other shopper can over hear. The staff in linden need some training and reorganization.

This was a total bummer for me. I was really looking forward to shopping at this Inspirations…read morelocation because it was so large and I've had good luck at other locations in the past. There's a large selection of clothes and a huge selection of shoes. However, everything is extremely expensive for a thrift store. Yes, everything is in good condition and some pieces are brand new. However, 80% of the tops I looked at were priced at $12 and above. I was shocked. I was so distracted by the prices, I couldn't look at the clothes. I definitely saw tons of things I liked but some sweatshirts and sweaters were $25, which is equal to what you'd pay for a brand new clothing item in TJ Maxx or Marshall's. The upside is that mostly everything is a name brands and there are a few vintage pieces hidden in the racks. But the prices are unjustifiable for a used clothing store. $25 for a used Colombia sweater? I tried on a brand new one at TJ Maxx the other day for $34. At that point, I might as well spend the extra few dollars and buy it new. I really couldn't justify buying used clothes for these prices. Another thing I noticed was that many sweaters were $22 and $24 and so were the jackets! To me, that didn't make any sense. How are the jackets the same price? I even saw a jacket on the rack marked at $99 which is something I'd expect for behind the register. Despite the prices, there was a large selection of scarves, shoes, and seasonal home goods (Christmas and Halloween). There's one aisle of books which looked to be mostly children's from my quick glance, and a wall of purses that were again over priced. I picked up a large wristlet and it was $10, which again I couldn't justify spending. The quality of the clothing is good, don't get me wrong, but the prices really turned me off. I didn't get anything and I didn't spend much time hunting in here once I saw how things were priced. The purpose of thrifting to me is getting something gently used for a great bargain. Great bargains were hard to find here for me. They do offer 50% off for certain tag colors, which was white when I went, but I didn't find one item with this tag. All of the clothing seemed to be tagged in a pink/orange color. One positive of this store is that it's separated by size and there seems to be a good amount of plus sized clothes here. If you're a traditional thriftier, I wouldn't suggest this location. If you don't mind spending $$$ for secondhand clothes, then this is the place for you.

My co-worker has been talking about Augusta Mae for the longest time. I finally had the opportunity…read moreto visit this shop. I came here before my vacation looking for a casual pocketbook I could take on the airplane. I thought the shop was adorable and even took some pictures for Yelp. The shop is located in an old house, which adds to the charm but limits those with mobility issues As the only way in are steep stairs. There is a nice selection of pocket books, clothing and accessories. The young lady who works there was very friendly and helpful. I purchased a pocketbook for my vacation and fell in love with another pocketbook but decided against buying it for the price. Ah, girls and their pocketbooks because I couldn't stop thinking of it! I came back the same day, before closing and ended up buying the second pocketbook for work. I put the pocketbook in my closet and left for vacation with the casual pocketbook. Well this morning before heading back to work, I decided to take it out and opened it to put my wallet in and saw it was damaged..ugh! Mind you, I should have inspected the purse further before buying it. But I was so happy with the first purchase that I didn't think to inspect the interior. Seeing the price, I am annoyed that I wasn't told about this. Look at the picture! I loved the store, but would be more cautious about purchasing a pocketbook here. Lesson learned, I will definitely inspect it carefully next time.

The front of the store, an older house, has a great open porch - sometimes its nice to just stand there and take-in the views of downtown. Last time I was there I watched a wedding from across the street - so nice! This store is a Cranford staple. BRAVO! LOVE!
