BYR&I has a nice selection of yarn that differs from Knit-A-Bit in Westfield, and Ewe in Clark. Lots of gorgeous yarn in an array of colors, textures, and price points. BYR&I also holds various classes. You can pick up a schedule at the store. Friday Night Knitting Club is help from 6pm - 8pm. Make sure you introduce yourself to the owner. She is warm, kind, and helpful. She also has a passion for her business and being part of the Cranford community.

Teeny lil' store that was exclusively knitting related up until recently, as per the owner. Now it's more of a clothing and jewelry boutique. I was able to find what I wanted at a very good price but the selection of yarn in store may not be enough for me to shop there regularly. I didn't peruse the clothing much, but I did see a few jewelry pieces I'm intrigued by. Donna was very friendly upon seeing a new face, and showed me the current crochet piece she was working on and chit chatted about yarns and what not. Good visit overall, and if I find myself in Cranford again I may go back to pick up some bling.

I like…read morethe selection in Carters better but Osh Kosh seems to have lower prices, so you have a lot of options in this location. They also have a lot of the cute toys and accessories by Skip Hop in the middle of the two stores, which is another company owned by Carters. I would say the only problem I have is the store is a little cramped, especially when crossing over from Carters to osh kosh or vice versa. They have bins off to the side and it makes going through with a stroller a little more complicated. Also, the skip hop stuff being right by the register can be maddening for parents waiting on line with their toddlers, because of course your toddler wants to touch every stuffed animal and toy they see, but I also know that's exactly why it's there so I can't really fault them for it, it is a retail business after all! 4/5

The cashier did not take the security tag off and I didnt notice untill after I got home. Today I brought the shirt back and told them what happend. Instantly the women behind the counter had an attitude and said she wasn't doing it with out a recipet because I could have stolen it. I told her I bought it at this location and said if I did steal it why would I return to the scene of the crime. She then refused again and said you know you look like you stole it coming in here with no receipt. This is not how you talk to customers aggressive rude and accusing them of theft. All she had to do was ask to see my license like tj max or Marshall's like all these other stores do. Absolutely absurd. This place needs to train their employees how to talk to people. And to think I went there to buy a pair of shoes and other clothes too. After that incident i left empty handed. Never buying anything from there again.
