My stylist, Chelsea, has been doing my hair for years. She's the only person that I allow to touch it. In December I decided to donate my hair to locks of love. I asked Chelsea to choose whichever style she believed would look best on me and she did not disappoint! The style she choose looks great and requires minimal styling at home. When I returned last week and told her I wanted to change my hair color but wasn't sure what I wanted she again chose for me and did an amazing job. Her hand painted balayage is superb. The salon itself is extremely welcoming. The staff is knowledgeable and will work to accommodate your busy schedule. A lot of my friends have booked with the other stylists that work here and have all loved their hair. Everyone is experienced and comes highly recommended! read more

I'm SO picky and literally Marsona's salon saved my hair. Being a blonde is tricky, because it's hard to find someone who nails the color you want. I went to Alexa today and not only did she fix my hair but she made it look so much better than the picture I showed her!!! Literally so worth the drive out, the team there is SO friendly and make you feel at home. They really take the time to talk to you and understand what you want, and they overdeliver. I have been going to Marsona for a number of years now and was ecstatic when she opened up her own salon. Marsona is the epitome of perfectionism and that translates high expectations of her stylists which easily translates into clients happiness. She is honest during the consultation portion of the appointment and let's you know how a "pinterest idea" will actually look on you. She takes her time but is very efficient and thorough. She will also show to style your hair if it's something a little different for you. Every time I leave, I feel like a million bucks. This was hands down the WORST hair appointment I have ever been too. I am not from the Fairfield area but heard from a friend about this salon. After reading the reviews online I felt comfortable to go to this new salon. I will say the atmosphere of the salon was nice and clean. I had gone in to get my normal blonde balayage, I wanted to go slightly lighter than normal but not by much. I felt confident that my stylist was going to be able to do what I was looking for. As she let my hair set I realized it felt itchy and started to burn near my scalp and around my ears. But she ended up washing and drying shortly after. I was slightly concerned at this point as this has never happened to me before. I left the salon noticing my hair was a little more dry than normal but didn't think anything of it. That was until I washed my hair for the first time. I was unable to get a brush through it because it was so dry. My hair went from being thick to so thin it barely stayed in a ponytail. Eventually when I went home for break I saw my hair stylist (this was nearly three months after I got my hair done at Marsona) and she said that my hair was so damaged that it was going to take TWO YEARS for it to grow back to normal. This is devastating and I am so beyond disappointed with how this appointment went. It is about six months since I had the balayage done and I am still struggling with breakage around my ears and the drastic difference in thickness. I do not recommend this salon to anyone in the Fairfield area. read more

I've been hearing great things about this place for a while from my coworkers and figured I'd finally try it. I made an appointment with Pam for a cut, color and blow dry and couldn't be happier. I wanted to get rid of my ombré and go back to my dark brown color and she matched it perfectly. She also offered me a glass of wine and had me sit in this private coloring room while my color processed which was relaxing.The place was clean and I'd recommend it to anyone trying to find a new salon. read more

Honestly NO salon like it. Yes it's expensive, but it is 1000% worth the money. I have seen 3 different people here and they really do the best quality on your hair possible. I will admit, I have gone to another salon a couple times while I'm away at college and want a quick touch up, but I regret it every time. Nobody pays attention to detail like this salon.
