First meeting, she had a backward mentality, I felt like she was one of the good ol boys of Story County. She lacked passion as a defense attorney and had an outdated approach toward my case, it was a fraud issue I had at my bank. It was a consult and I felt more of an insult. Suffering that unexpected fraud caused me to have her retained as my public defender on a criminal case in story county. By that time losing $7,000 from my business account I was in a mentally stressed and financially stressed situation. I came to meet her again to my surprise. I had to bring my two little kids, my older were in school and I had serious daycare issues as it was extremely hard to secure child care in Ames. But, we needed to meet initially. It was HORRIBLE! She came in and introduced the fact my kids were not welcome, she made me super uncomfortable, I asked around and several attorneys said my children are more than welcome to accompany me during our meetings. In the same, meeting she accused me and then warned me to not have them in the courtroom. She continued on with her cynical accusations and even ignored FACTS of my defense. She was rigid, she lacks ambition. She seemed entitled. She lacks a diverse defense tactic or strategy. Of course, public defenders work for the state but some work for their clients. In court, she was weak and even mentioned to our jury a COVID FRAUD ARTICLE-she read, it was a Covid fraud case and she asked one juror to read it, it was a good article... she laughed during her closing argument, she was boring. She never objected to anything. It was like she wanted more to be liked by her peers than to defend me. She misled me and misinformed me on what she could do. She seems like a great prosecutor. She should never represent anyone of color. She is very much in a very privileged mindset. I wouldn't recommend her to defend your dog or cat. And, I truly appreciate all the community and state does to help people who lack the funds to provide themselves with people and proper legal aid, but throw her away and defend yourself. She was literally doing my case on a fly. She may like you and your childless situation more so please by all means try it, but it is a risk. God bless and good luck out there

He arrived early for our appointment to review our cleaning needs and provided an estimate by the next day. I really appreciated Mike's prompt response to all my communications with him. Cleanly ended up winning a contract with our building. They were able to provide services within the next few days which we appreciated since our building really needed a cleaning. The hardwood floors were spotless, and they even took the time to tidy up a bit in my kitchen. Overall, the entire house was thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom. As we head into the winter months, this deep clean was just what my family needed, and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be having Mike and Elaine back! I signed up for a deep cleaning, six hours for $243. I gave them a list of rooms to get to and was…read morereally disappointed when I reviewed what they got done. Only three rooms were cleaned, the kitchen and two of our three bathrooms. I've had house cleaning services over the last 12 years or so, so I feel like I have reasonable expectations based on personal experience working with good cleaners. The kitchen is about 10-12 foot square. While some things were obviously cleaned, the details weren't caught. The half bath is approximately 6x6 feet big, with a toilet, corner shelf and small sink. The countertop was dirty, the items on the countertop that stay out (like the toothbrush holder) were dirty, the lights window and mirror frame weren't dusted, the wall next to the toilet was dirty, and sink and faucet were still dirty. The upstairs bath is a 3/4 bath that's approximately 6x12 foot, with a shower stall, toilet and double sink. Again, the lights and windows weren't dusted, the sink and faucet were dirty. The shower wall was streaky, and the water with the cleaned-away dirt was left pooling on the floor of the shower and had dried there. The office was quick about responding to my initial email and follow-up emails. They offered to come back and redo the rooms we were unhappy with but I preferred not to. I asked if the amount of space that was completed was on par with the normal 6-hours of deep cleaning and they said yes 2-4 rooms were normal. I don't feel like that was a value for the price or reasonable for the amount of time spent. The young ladies who came to our house were absolutely lovely in the few minutes I spoke with them. While this is a negative review, my main issue is not with the ladies who did the cleaning. It really appears that the issues are with training, inspecting, and my expectations not being aligned with those of the company. I hope they'll take this feedback and invest the time in setting their staff up for success.

Supreme services was the winner since they returned my call within a half hour. I talked to Vince and made an appointment for an initial inspection and quote. A few days later, Vince came and checked out the carpets....gave me a great quote and made the next appointment to actually get the work done. The next day Vince came and deep cleaned our carpets. He used a big rotary brush machine that also had a water sprayer and big suction hose attached to it. It took about an hour to clean all our carpets. Everything looked great. Smelled great too.
