Either way, I'm changing my review and given five stars and solely based on. I don't know her or the company very well yet nor do they know me very well. However, anyone that's willing to give somebody another chance I would have to say is good in my book. So that's what I am basing this review off of today. I think some very bad miscommunication happened. Emotions got involved and it caused for a bad interaction. However, after reaching out and asking for another chance, and with some better clarification she has been willing to do so. So thank you very much. The location is right off Hickman in Waukee in the same stop mall as H's Pho (that's my reference point anyway). SUPER close to where I live. Yippee for me! When we arrived there was only one other family there. We had plenty of space to spread out with the wine and snacks we brought with. The owner did a good job of running us through the steps in the process, what materials to use, safety, and then turned us loose. Her daughter, Jennifer, was very helpful too. It wasn't what I expected in a good way. I learned how to use tools to cut glass and how to use different materials for different effects, etc. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the temperature in the store. Even with wearing an airy summer dress, I was melting. That was pre-wine even so it kept getting progressively warmer as we went along. I never asked to have the temperature adjusted but should have. This is a great place to get on with your inner artist and makes a great gift for friends and family :)

I signed up for a deep cleaning, six hours for $243. I gave them a list of rooms to get to and was…read morereally disappointed when I reviewed what they got done. Only three rooms were cleaned, the kitchen and two of our three bathrooms. I've had house cleaning services over the last 12 years or so, so I feel like I have reasonable expectations based on personal experience working with good cleaners. The kitchen is about 10-12 foot square. While some things were obviously cleaned, the details weren't caught. The half bath is approximately 6x6 feet big, with a toilet, corner shelf and small sink. The countertop was dirty, the items on the countertop that stay out (like the toothbrush holder) were dirty, the lights window and mirror frame weren't dusted, the wall next to the toilet was dirty, and sink and faucet were still dirty. The upstairs bath is a 3/4 bath that's approximately 6x12 foot, with a shower stall, toilet and double sink. Again, the lights and windows weren't dusted, the sink and faucet were dirty. The shower wall was streaky, and the water with the cleaned-away dirt was left pooling on the floor of the shower and had dried there. The office was quick about responding to my initial email and follow-up emails. They offered to come back and redo the rooms we were unhappy with but I preferred not to. I asked if the amount of space that was completed was on par with the normal 6-hours of deep cleaning and they said yes 2-4 rooms were normal. I don't feel like that was a value for the price or reasonable for the amount of time spent. The young ladies who came to our house were absolutely lovely in the few minutes I spoke with them. While this is a negative review, my main issue is not with the ladies who did the cleaning. It really appears that the issues are with training, inspecting, and my expectations not being aligned with those of the company. I hope they'll take this feedback and invest the time in setting their staff up for success.
