I canceled to follow my personal trainer to a new club in May. I contacted Anytime Fitness via…read morephone to advise them I wanted to cancel my membership. I left my name and number explaining that I wanted to cancel and asking what I needed to do to complete my transaction. Unfortunantely, for me I did not receive a callback. However, because I did not see any charges I assumed the membership had been canceled. Fast-forward, last week I noticed two charges on my bank statement; so I called and once again left a message. No surprise they did not call back. I called today and spoke with Abby the manager. I explained my situation. Let me just say that I have worked in Customer service for 41 years. Never have I had a person be so dismissive. She hit me with this question "did you send in a cancellation letter?" Really? I told her I was not aware a letter was needed. She came back with "it's in your contract." I joined club on during their grand opening. When I asked her why no one called me back. She said "it might not have been logged." I am smh, she obviously does not know what she is doing or does not care. So here's a tip for everyone! If you are going to cancel your membership, make sure you send an email or letter. Or you will be in my shoes. I am very disappointed in the service I received from Abby. Clearly, she is not in the business of problem solving or creating a moment of excellence for her clients. She is more concerned about the $60+ dollars. Thanks, Abby for the unforgettably horrible service you rendered today. You should really, proud of yourself. News Flash: Although I enjoyed my time there; I will not be recommeding Anytime Fitness to a friend or family member. Your NPS score is 0.

Over all I enjoy using the pool, sauna and whirlpool. I have a problem with the whirlpool. The…read morehandicap lift is situated most times too far away from the pool itself. In order to activate the jets one has to contend with the lift. It should be set closer to the whirlpool so that it would'nt interfer with people trying to start the jets. While on the subject of jets, a new system is needed because at times I find that it is difficult if not impossible to get the jets going. There is no problem with the other whirlpool, you just press the button and the jets go on for 10 minutes. Other than these two dificulties I would give the center a four rating.

I've had several memberships here over the years and my wife and I took an archery class. I'm…read moremainly writing this review because there is only one and its negative. The membership comes with access to a pretty good gym with weight machines, free weights, and several different aerobic machines. The only thing I dont like about the gym is there is very little room for stretching or floor exercises such as planks, pushups, ect. The membership also comes access to a lap pool, hot tub, and sauna. There are locker rooms with lockers and showers, I'm pretty sure you need your own lock. Also, you have access to basketball courts when open gym. They offer a two for one membership in January that works out to like $17 a month each. Cons- as stated before, the gym is sizable but can get a little crowded during peak times. I would prefer more classes such as yoga tied into the gym some how. They do have classes in their bi annual book but I never see anything about it outside of there. You can get a trainer and they say you get one session when you sign up but you rarely see them. As far as the rest of the center, I've only taken one class and we had no issues.
