The gym is only $20 per month and for that you get fairly decent amount of free weights and lifting equipment as well as various cardio machines. I also ended up becoming friends with most of the staff here. As far as cleanliness goes, I thought that the place was spotless. They also provide towel service while you are lifting, which is something I can't say about most gyms. Most of the people that I encountered here were lifting recreationally compared to many of the other gyms I've attended. The gym is also rarely crowded to the point where you are waiting to use a machine. Although I've never done this, Cardinal Fitness also provides personal training for an extra fee. The only thing that I didn't like about the gym was that sometimes they will try to close a couple minutes early, and they also don't have an indoor track or a pool. Sometimes I like running on a track because I get bored from running/biking/stepping in place. Overall, it is a nice gym for its cost. There aren't too many gyms around for this price. Pros: Very Clean Affordable ($20 + Enrollment Fee) Lots of equipment Friendly Staff Cons: No Indoor Track No Pool

I've never had a problem getting a machine or some space to workout. Can be busy but you don't really notice due to the large amount of equipment. The staff is very personable. Poor leadership that would rather blame someone for complaining about a problem person, in hopes one of them would cancel their membership so Mr Coward manager didn't have to take a stand. Then there's the therapy pool piranha and the school of disgruntled, mean followers that believe this is their own personal warm water swamp. The pool piranha feverishly splashes about from side to side hogging up three lanes is a message to everyone...I OWN THIS POOL! I COME FIRST! You must kiss the ass of the selfish pool piranha and follow it around, back and forth like a good little obedient fan. No respect for others! You can't enjoy the therapy pool alone because the pool piranha lacks attention and needs your constant validation. Then there's the employee with the strawberry blonde brush haircut that hates everyone including itself. Mean, belligerent and can easily grimace, flip you the finger or tell you to SHUT UP! Excuse me....Is one of it's tired, dated lines. When management lacks the balls to use their authority properly, you end up with sacred cow staff members, laziness and a few angered members calling the shots over the majority. Fitness Pointe isn't the best place to work out or enjoy your leisure. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Not worth the aggravation!

This is not a family-friendly facility. My 14 year old tried to come with me as a guest to try it…read moreout (my 16 year old had come once). They said the 14 year old had to buy a package for kids which was $30 for 10 visits (no smaller packages just to try it out). When deciding on it when she was already with me in her workout clothes, we told the worker that she was going to sometimes come with her friend's family, so we would get it. Nothing was said about any rules against this. A month after that, I decided to cancel my membership because of several reasons (class times not convenient for a teacher. Rigid rules about teen memberships, etc). When I canceled, they called to tell me Tessa's membership would also be canceled since she has to come with me. I told them my understanding was that she just had to be with an adult. They would not budge and told me absolutely no refunds for any reason. This is very poor business. Also, their policies are so rigid...a 14-15 year old must work out with a parent. I don't know many teens that want to be glued to their parent's side when working out. Other gyms have much more flexibility. Other businesses would be more flexible with miscommunications. I'm glad we are ending our membership there.

After two shoulder surgeries and being retired in December of 2021 decided to finally get back to my fitness regimen. Being a United HealthCare AARP member and getting my membership paid for by them decided to join without taking a tour of the club. After joining other than having Alfie as my fitness gurus who is in the process of getting me back in working order - very dissatisfied at the state of this club. Pads on machines are worn and could be easily replaced, men's bathroom/locker room is deplorable. I don't think it has been cleaned since I left charter. Smells, sewer flies all around, the mats in front of the showers haven't been picked up and cleaned 'most likely for years'. The ADA shower has the bench chained to the wall - for a older person or disabled person who would have to use it is impossible. The bathroom is a a mess - totally disgusting. The shower curtains are the same ones that were up when it was Charter Fitness years ago. Put something on top of the lockers and it was filled with dust and items left by members which was never removed or cleaned - locker are a mess inside - need to be cleaned. Totally disappointed in this club and would not recommend to anyone and would not rejoin - I only hope I am able to train with Alfie to continue regaining my fitness goals . Why spend the money to put in a useless sauna (one person fills it, two is a joke and three forget it) when the money could have been spent on cleaning and revamping the locker room so that it is sanitary - try paint and a thorough cleaning. Just to note: If you expect future members to join - forget about useless saunas and make your main concern cleanliness, general maintenance of equipment. Membership next year to this club is doubtful unless there are some major changes. Get rid of the infestation OF SEWER FLIES IN THE Men's BATHROOM and finally give it good scrub down, remove/replace the mats in front of the showers, so that a person can use without being infected by some bacteria. Totally disappointed in the state and cleanliness of this club - I hope that this review will change the manner in which this club is kept clean and maintained. If not, I will not rejoin and for prospective folks interested all up to you. But if remains in the manner in which it is I will not be back. Take a tour I wish I had - just remembered it when it was Charter Fitness years ago and the club was kept up.

There is a second floor that reached all around the main floor, where you can view from the top or bring your own folding chair and watch from above. There is a cafe up there also allowing you to purchase food and drinks and watch the games below. There are bleacher seats all along the main floor where you can sit and watch also. Plenty of parking in front and there are a few restaurants across the street from here but you can't bring any food in as they want you to buy within. I recommend this center.

A lady approached my kids and told them they could not play basketball because they needed to pay. She told me the same thing I thought paying for the class for my other child was enough and the kids were just harmless playing basketball and the lady got mad at the kids I guess they are really money hungry institution the following day I came and just had my Kids color because playing sports while we waited for the class to be over was off-limits such a disappointing experience.
