Especially considering I went in knowing nothing about him, I was pleasantly surprised to see how dedicated Martin was to making sure that I got exactly what I wanted! He was polite, professional, and listened well. I came in with gold blonde hair, wanting an ash-blonde balayage look. He dyed it, dried one piece of my hair and realized that my hair still had a bit of gold left. I have lived in LA for over 10 years now and I have never found a stylist that I've stuck with until I started going to Martin. He is extremely talented and focused. The hair cuts are phenomenal and you get exactly what you ask for. He takes his time and makes sure it is perfect before sending you home. I've only gone twice but now I only want to entrust my hair to Martin, he's the best. Super easy to set up appts, we just text and set a time. I had previously colored my hair a few times and just accepted the dryness. Somehow he brought it back to life, smooth and shiny! He listens to what I want and also adds suggestions for what looks good and will keep the hair healthy. Today I wanted to add some dimension to my brown hair for my upcoming wedding, so he suggested warm blonde highlights and I'm loving the result! He is super careful with every strand of hair, is easy to talk to or just watch Netflix with, and uses products that smell fantastic. Free aromatherapy! Plus he's a magician with a hair dryer. I hate how with other hairstylists they dry my hair and then curl it right away, which is not healthy, but he just curls with the brush, minimal heat! And he teaches me how to maintain my hair so it stays healthy even after I leave. Can't say enough good things about him. Loveed my hair cut from Martin he is amazing!! I used living social voucher 45 bucks for hair cut and deep conditioning. I felt like a princess he delivered what I asked. I requested my hair shoulder length with lots of layers. Since my hair was in dire need of a haircut. My hair felt lighter and shiner. I loved how he did my bangs because I usually don't do bangs.
