There is an intro exam, but did not require x-rays which made me happy. - Helps you help yourself. After the adjustment, Dr. Norm recommended some stretches. When I was not able to feel them he adjusted the technique so I could feel it, and benefit from doing it. - Practical. He made recommendation for trigger point work using a tennis ball and sock. Which is awesome, bc I have both on hand. He also let me know there was a special tool we could order if I wanted. - Insurance. Dr. Norm does not take insurance, but Dr. Kerri does and I have heard wonderful things about her. - The drive way is easy to miss. It can also be a little tricky to get in to, and out of the parking lot, as its right on highway 9. All and all Dr. Norm is a wicked smart doc who keeps things light. I ended up canceling within the 24-hour policy, but received a response that felt passive-aggressive, stating more notice would have been appreciated. I reached out to clarify the cancellation policy, as I was sure I had followed it when completing my intake paperwork. I never received a response, so I didn't go back. I'm happy to give more notice if that's what is expected, but I would encourage clearer communication of the policy moving forward to avoid confusion and frustration.

She arranged to see me the very day I called. When I was at her office, she gave me individual attention. The space was a bit snug, but it didn't interfere with her ability to give me a comprehensive consultation. Her technique was very hands on. My other chiropractors have put me on electric stim machines and left me for nearly 15-20 minutes unattended. Not so with Dr. Vitale! She payed careful attention to the pain I was experiencing. When it came to the diagnosis, treatment options, and home treatments, Dr. Vitale was very specific and detailed in her explanations. She was very aware and respectful of my choice to not pursue any prescription pain-killers. Her excellent service did not end there. Since I had to head back home to Los Angeles, there was quite a bit of paperwork to take care of. She made the arrangements to send my bills to my insurance company, and faxed copies of my diagnosis to my new doctor. She even warned me that if a doctor wanted to see me for two months, more frequently than twice a week, that they'd be trying to take advantage of me. What advice! A week later, I received a copy of the diagnosis and my bills for my own records along with a card! Never in any medical office, have I received the care and kindness that Dr. Vitale has shown me.
