I recently had a massage with their in house masseuse, Amber and I highly recommend her. Her demeanor is friendly, calm and gentle. The massage space is peaceful. She was definitely in tune with my trigger points. & although soothing she was in tune with my trigger points and was able to go deep. It was a relaxing and therapeutic massage. I have seen Sylvia and Christine for several years. I suffered a severe back injury and my recovery had plateaued which led me to try cranial sacral therapy. I felt relief of my pain right away after seeing Sylvia, and although it would return, eventually I found after a few appointments the results lasted much longer each time and I was able along with physical therapy to mostly return to my normal activities. Most importantly I have been able to lie down again and sleep which had been very difficult. I now go in occasionally for "tune-ups" (my term) to have my spinal column decompressed. I had gradual back pain that was getting worse, and when I woke up in the morning I could hardly stand up or walk. I was in a panic because I'm from out of town. I called 10 chiropractors pleading for help and nobody would see me...except Amber the massage therapist. I thought I needed a chiropractor which was my usual, but I was desperate so I booked a massage. I learned a major lesson! I had better results with Ambers 90 minute massage than I normally do with a chiropractor. Last time this happened it took me 3 visits to my chiropractor (which I continue to love) and I was in bed for days. This time, with Ambers help, I was feeling almost totally normal the next day!! The kind receptionist who returned my call (other places did not even bother) and the lightning fast booking with Amber saved me when I was desperate for help, and she did such a wonderful job that I booked another session with her before leaving town. I have been seeing Dr. Skefich and her team for a few years now. They are amazing. My daughter (now9) was having back pain due to her scoliosis, we tried acupuncture, massage, and traditional chiropractic, nothing helped, the chiropractor caused MORE pain. Since we have been receiving care from Dr. Skefich she has gotten so much relief. She loves going in. I went to the office and received treatment from Christine and Evelyn as well as Dr. Skefich after my car accident for back pain. I'm now relieved of. I saw Dr. Skefich for pain during my pregnancy, I could barely sit or stand for too long at about 6-7 months along, I was in agony. I have seen Sylvia for a number of injuries and she is able to help heal even the most stubborn injuries. I am a contractor and am very hard on my body, usually injuring my back and wrist. I am able to leave her office feeling good as new. She has a much more delicate style of working as compared to other chiropractors, but is much more effective. If you are used to standard western chiropractors with their abrasive adjustments then Dr. Sylvia is a world apart from that. I was surprised how gentle her process is but very effective in the healing process. I was told things I have never heard before from those "other guys." Sylvia is great! She is very intuitive and has a wonderful way of explaining what she is doing to the body. She has been assisting me with TMJ pain and I always look forward to every visit. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Have been seeing Dr. Skefich for probably almost 10 years. Appointments ALWAYS start and end on time. She takes plenty of time to assess and attend to your needs for each session. Never feel rushed (like I did at some other chiro who scheduled appointments in 5- or 10-minute sessions and was not surprisingly, always running late). She is amazingly intuitive. Treatments are gentle but effective. I pay out of pocket because the care is so much better than what I got when I tried providers through my insurance plan. She's worth every penny. read more
