Gonna be totally fair. The assessment and Soundwave work great. First day paid 80 bucks for xrays. Consult. And Soundwave machine. Left satisfied and eager to continue treatment. Get me in for an adjustment the next day. He hits me with this. $7789 for 6 months of care. I say I'm not paying 8 grand. Ill pay for adjustments weekly. Then like a car salesman comes back with the orange sticky note. 15pp down and 501.50 monthly for just chiropractic adjustments, no sound wave. I say ill pay for adjustments weekly. "We dont do that. Sorry you have bad insurance." I have kaiser. They wont pay for you probably cause of your shady business practices. Who the heck does a down payment and monthly payments more than a car payment?? And who does accept payment for services as they are rendered. Again. Credit where credit is due. Soundwave works great. Just go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Hi everyone! A few years ago I had constant back pain. I went in and was x-rayed and then recommended a course of treatments that totaled several thousand dollars. It was a high pressure situation. I couldn't afford it. They wanted me to take out a loan through some service and make payments. I refused this but caved to paying for a few weeks of the several month long course. I was in serious pain. I went to a few visits, they were very fast wham bam crack your back and neck and done, probably like 10 minutes with the doctor. It was so impersonal and not the level of care I expected. So I called to cancel and the receptionist refused to mail me a check. Claiming I had to have a meeting with the doctor about my case beforehand! I didn't need or want to get pressured to keep paying! I refused and they refused to refund me. In addition to this a secondary doctor in the office asked me what i do for work, I told him I was a contractor. He said that's good and I should join his club as they didn't have a contractor yet. They had a scheme where you join up with a bunch of business owners, and promise to recommend each other with referrals!!! He said the main doctors group was full but his was still collecting different businesses! This was with out ever seeing my quality of work or anything! What a scam! I believe in chiropractic therapy and I'm sure that they do help people but watch out for the high predatory sales techniques. After seeing a few different doctors Dr Craig Iman at Aloha chiropractic is the one I recommend. read more

I have always gotten great care and quality of care when coming here. A lot of the pains in my body have greatly decreased. It takes time and dedication. They listen to my concerns and adjust my treatment accordingly. The lightwave therapy has helped with injuries as i get them from work and sports and i have significantly less pain in my lower lumbar,rotator cuffs ,wrists and knees. Currently im working on my thumbs from golfing. Its a little painful at first but you get used to it and it definitely helps a lot. Thanks to the whole team! read more

The office is always clean. The doctor seems to care but I felt he was so deeply into it for the money. I fell off his medical chair and he told me he would take care of me and therefor I did not sue him. I wish I would have sued him so I could have gotten the care I needed after hurting my shoulder and neck at his office. He told his receptionist to send me to go to another doctor. So much for him caring for his patients. I felt like he cared about the money and now just pushed me away. Money hungry and no dignity. I hurt more now than ever before. read more

I saw an ad on Facebook for "soft shock wave" therapy & responded, asking the "do you take insurance" question more than once, with no response. Nanoseconds after filling out the contact info, I received a text saying when can you come in? I again asked about insurance coverage and got no response. At that point, I realized there is something sleazy going on here and I blocked them from further contact. I've had successful "shock wave" therapy in Los Gatos (all covered by my insurance) for plantar fasciitis, but was told it isn't successful for heel bone problems, such as my bursitis. Thus, this Facebook ad got my attention. No response to the insurance question alerted me to the fact that I was dealing with an outfit with about the same integrity as the proverbial used car salesman! When injured from an accident they collected cash that would be reimbursed after they provided a billing statement to my insurance. As of today it's been months and they still come up with every excuse why it's not done. I do not recommend this business at all. I believe the clinic does care about my health and how to get me to a better place. Started with the TRT machine 7 weeks ago. 7 weeks ago I could not get up or down stairs without holding on as both knees are bad. I can now walk up and down most stairs including bleachers without assistance. Can't wait to get started on the other knee. A chiropractic office that runs their business like a used car dealership. Was given an initial exam and x-rays (+$300 but I got some coupon for $40) and told I'd need to come 3-4 times a week for 4 months and it would cost me almost $5k. Oh, but if I paid up front, it'd be cheaper. Any my insurance would only cover about a 1/3 of that and I'd be lucky to see it. Staff is all wearing white and overly friendly. It feels like a cult. However, I got 2 adjustments from the doctor and they were good. Solid adjustments, but a bit rough. Take my experience with a grain of salt, but don't get duped by this place. read more

Earlier this year I went to Duncan McCollum because I suddenly had lower back pain for the first time in my life and I could barely walk, sit, stand or lay - within 2 weeks, several appointments, I was in much better shape, could actually get around ok and was in much less pain! And I continued to go weekly since and within only about a month I was able to turn my head like an owl! I didn't even realize how stiff my neck had gotten over the years - this was a huge unexpected improvement! Then recently I strained/sprained my upper arm/bicep and it was bothering me to the point I couldn't sleep and within just 2 visits to McCollum's office my arm is totally fine, no pain and all fixed! Hoping this helps a few folks out there looking for help. I got treatment at McCollum for a frozen shoulder due to dislocated shoulder back in June 2022. Before walking in, I had pain in my shoulder at night, during the day and even during some basic movements. I honestly didn't know what to expect but I was willing to give it a try due to the amazing staff and support. They started me off with TRT (Tissue Regen Treatment) and adjustment after. At first I thought this was excessive but as soon as I started seeing results it all began to make sense. I went through 13 visits and at the end of my last visit I can easily confirm that my pain in my shoulder is gone, the range in lifting up my arm has increased significantly and still progressing. I don't think these results would have happened if I did nothing. I've also met with a surgeon to review my MRI and they both mentioned to me "whatever you are doing, keep doing it because it is forward progress" and didn't recommend any surgery. Thank you so much for all the wonderful care and results. I know it is still a long journey ahead and I'm not 100% (yet) but this was more than what I expected after my first step walking in. Duncan McCollum is an amazing chiropractor. He really has a gift for healing, as well as an extensive knowledge about health from what you should be eating, to sleep patterns, to adjusting your body. I broke my jaw which was never set, and I could barely open my mouth. Going to the dentist and having my mouth open while they worked on my teeth was painful. Duncan has been adjusting my jaw, and I can now open my mouth without pain, and it doesn't hurt when I keep it open for the dentist. I really give Duncan the credit for adjusting my jaw to a more normal position. He also offers adjustments & has a stem cell therapy (TRT) machine that works wonders. I have been to many chiropractors and Dr. McCollum and his team are the best! They really listen! And I have had a problem with sleep and Dr. McCollum was the first one to address the healing that caused it with specific nutrition supplements and a diet plan that handled it! I go to see him weekly for adjustments to my lower back because of pain due to a spine problem. I'm not saying this is an easy task, simply that it's one we work on regularly and one that can be just as fun as it is challenging. In his letter, he addressed each one of my concerns and explained why his office policies are what they are. Most importantly of all, he wasn't just defensive. He also thanked me for taking the time to write my review and thanked me for the kind things that I had said. He proceeded to make me a very generous offer since I was not fully satisfied with my previous services. The way he handled his response is a shining example of excellent customer service. I am now very impressed by Dr. McCollum. I've had a lot of great first impressions in my life, but my memories of these moments and people seem to fade away just as quickly as I encountered them.
