    Fish and chips

This is a nice place to go for lunch. The vibe is nice not very loud and there are plenty of seating that give you some privacy. When we went the service was good. We ordered fish and chips, salmon and chicken pot pie all the dishes came out hot. Fish & chips - chips were seasoned with old bay, the fish had a nice crispy batter, but the fish was a little to soft for my taste. Chicken pot pie - came in a skillet with a nice pie crust on it, the filling was good but need a little more gravey in it. The salmon was really good. It was a nice overall experience. If I return it will be to try out the dinner menu.

First time trying Copper Canyon and it was good. Got there when they opened on a weekend day and the bar staff were friendly and attentive. Once our party arrived we were seated in the dining area. The food and drinks are good. Only thing to nitpick was the table service. I asked for more water and the server filled my glass but didn't even ask others at the table if they wanted more water as well. Will try it again for the food and the location is convenient.

Please come see Ashley at the bar her hospitality and customer service is top tier and unmatched . I was in the area and stopped in I wish this establishment would come to Charles county MD . They have live music it's an amazing intimate experience the food is exceptional. I'm having a pear - tini , for my entree I'm having the rainbow trout with a lemon butter sauce , mashed potato's paired with spinach . The open kitchen concept it's the best .

Finally made it here after I've been saying I wanted to come here for about a year. Nice upscale intimate restaurant. You are greeted by live music as soon as you walk in. You can sit at the bar or regular table or booth. Only thing that I personally didn't like was the very low lighting inside. My drunk choice was an old fashion. Very strong drink but good. Entree was the steak frites. Didn't come out like I have seen at previous restaurants where it was already cut up for you. You have to cut it yourself. Steak was decent. Wasn't mouth watering but it was good flavor. Very friendly service that made some great recommendations and the experience a good one.

The restaurant is very neat and clean. The service was great, but I was just underwhelmed with my food overall . I wanted to send the meatball appetizer back, but I kept it. 3 little meatballs for $15 is criminal and they did not have the best flavor. On the upside, the chicken pot pie entree and cornbread appetizer was delicious.

Had a lovely dinner here last night with 3 friends! We had the crab dip which was very yummy- the only thing I would recommend is to have more bread on the side. We asked for more because it wasn't enough for the portion of the crab dip. I had the grilled rainbow trout which was very delicious! Also the spinach and mashed potatoes were a great side! My one friend had the Stanford cheeseburger which she said was very juicy and yummy. My other friend had the chicken Milanese which was also very good.

When I walked in a live band was playing right up front. I love that!! The hostess was so sweet! The crab dip was absolutely delicious the only critique would be there could have been a few more pieces of bread. But overall it was well worth the money.

NYE Dinner with my love! I have not yet even disappointed with CCG! The mood and ambiance is always pleasing, romantic, and the entrance is always welcoming, warm in the winter and wait time has been under 5minutes each time when reserved. The night started with a pianist, Cello, and drummer upon entry. After being seated we were greeted by our server Devon. He was amazing and left a great impression for my spouse, who was a first timer. The food was amazing, the wine fresh and crisp. Well enjoyed and will return as soon as possible, because he already knows what he will be ordering ! Lmbo... Thank you CCG for your hospitality and delicious Chef craft!

Full house with adequate staffing!! Large shareable portions but the dishes are hot or miss for taste. Certain nights the have live music coupled with the low lights creates a nice atmosphere for a romantic date night. The staff is friendly and will attempt to correct any problems. I generally order the same thing every time I go. This time I opted for the steak salad cooked medium rare. The steak was well done. They tried twice. I should've stuck with the ahi tuna salad which is my go to dish. The cornbread never fail always a winner. The monkeybread is good too. The burger is ok like any other burger, and the pasta is good as well. The meatloaf is ok. The half roasted chicken is juicy, the green beans are good and the ribs are good. It's local and not a bad location with good parking. I'll be back.

Well it's time to update my review here. It's been years since I last dined in. I used to frequent this restaurant alot for takeaway. My favorite has always been the salmon. Oh and the desserts are mouthwatering. This time we had the Brownie Sundae. The desserts are definitely enough to share. Our server name was Adam. He was very efficient. He checked on us regularly. I love the ambiance while dining in and they played a little jazz. Both meals were satisfying and we plan on returning soon for more dining in experiences. Would love to catch the pianist that plays on occasion. There's plenty of parking available.

Great atmosphere and food. I enjoyed the appetizer and when a restaurant has a Pot Pie on the menus I always give it a try...and it was not a disappointment! If you want a. Iced upscale style interior and atmosphere with good food to follow it up then give this place a try!

Overall a very enjoyable night! We tried it out for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We weren't sure what to expect; thought it was more of a Chili's or Benigan's style but it was more upscale than that. Atmosphere was nice. They had a 3 piece jazz combo in the foyer. The restaurant was large and we noticed a good size event space/room. Food was delicious. I ordered the prime rib and my partner had the chicken parm. He also said their old fashioned was really good. Service was a bit slow; especially considering it was that busy when we went. She was very nice but just not as attentive as we expected.

I got into town and stopped for lunch before I checked into my hotel. The bartender was very engaging and helped me with my lunch selections as I've never been to this restaurant. I chose the club salad that has an insane amount of fried chicken. that is absolutely delicious with very fresh ingredients. The salad dressing was perfectly tossed in the salad. I also tried a piece of the cornbread. The restaurant is very nice with good decorations and a beautiful bar. I will try other locations if I am in cities where there located.

We started with Potato Cakes with crème fraiche, they had a nice crunch, a tender interior with subtle flavor. I'd never had them with crème fraiche, it was a nice change and the mild tanginess with the creamy texture complimented the Cakes well. I ordered the Main Street with Weisswurst, a Pretzel and plain Spätzle. It was my first, the veal's flavor is understated in comparison to Bratwurst or Knackwurst (not on the menu) and was a pleasant changeup. The Pretzel was little disappointing while it was a decent pretzel, it lacked the crisp crust and distinctive flavor I expected. As evident by the rating while worthy of note, it's not a game changer. I'd ordered a large plain Spätzle, which was two regular portions, but was served Spätzle with cheese I tasted it and it wasn't my thing, which is not to say it was bad, I just don't care for cheese in dishes like that. Our server swapped one cheese for plain (my wife had happily stolen the other) and enjoyed the replacement. I found that the grilled onions gave it a nice homey flavor. Mistakes happen and it turned out to be a win in the end. We shared a couple of desserts and by far, my favorite was the Black Forest Cupcake. It's on the large side, they might be able to cut on the weighty crème icing, the chocolate cake and soaked cherries were a delight. The cherries are a significant improvement over the Marchinos I had before, if only there were more. Rathskeller can get a little loud, as it is a relatively small space with hard surfaces so voices reflect, it wasn't packed this afternoon, so it wasn't an issue. Waitstaff dresses very casually, it pleasant and fairly attentive.

He was a sweetie pie, too. Man, I miss the East Coast! Nothing but cool peeps like me just living their lives. After learning that I had a 4 hour layover, I was STOKED. Saw my girl, Khadijah for my returning flight to LA!! I was ECSTATIC! YOU HAVE NO IDEA. It's not the drink but the great vibes and company at Martini's. In fact, I noticed that when she's working, she's always got a full bar. It's her excellent attitude and vibe! I showed up and she had everyone up at the bar so I sat to the right of the bar so I can charge my phone! Even better, she remembered me! She told me that you can grab a drink if you have family, and sit across the way, if need be because those under 21 cannot sit at the bar. 2025.11-05/WED_1400: Just finished a long flight from LAX and had a two hour layover at BWI. I found the only bar between Concourse A and B. Originally, I was trying to stay close to gate A8. Had no idea my gates had changed to gate B. Martini is located at the top of the escalator on the way to Concourse B and the food court. The airport is under construction but you'll see it when you look for the escalator. There was a good amount of customers that looked like they were also on a layover having a great time. The bartender was a gorgeous lady by the name of Khadijah. It's so wonderful to see her beautiful smile and wonderful attitude. I don't know how she does it dealing with some grumpy and idiotic people! She's incredible just knocking everyone out with her wonderful customer service, attitude and SMILE. This changed her from beautiful to gorgeous or gorgeous to stunning. Whichever is top notch! Hospitality is 200%! Some customers feel so entitled and she handled everyone like a champ. No fuss, just a lovely attitude and she let stuff roll off her like waterproof wood stain. She also made me a drink called a Sexy Mule which had muttled blueberries, a flower of some sort (can't remember which flower liquor she told me) and extra ginger (it looked like pink lemonade garnished with blueberries). It hit the spot! Great suggestion! It was nothing like those bland Moscow Mules. If you are wondering where to go after a long flight and you're stuck at BWI for a long layover, I would suggest you see Khadijah at Martini because you won't receive stellar hospitality at any other bar at BWI like this! I'll be returning to BWI next week so I hope I see her again for my insane layover! #hospitality #martini #bar #baratBWI #BWI #mortimerthebear # travellingbear #everywherebear #ConcourseA

02/20/26 5 Stars **…read more Wife and I were in Annapolis for a doctor's appointment, and afterwards she asked, "Where are you taking me for lunch?" I jumped on Yelp and started searching. I had heard about a seafood place in Severna Park, but I wasn't in the mood for seafood. That's when I came across Betty Lou's. As soon as I looked at the food photos, I knew that's where we were headed. It was about a 20 minute ride from Annapolis not bad at all. Betty Lou's is located in a shopping center. There were a few cars in the lot when we pulled up, but I wasn't sure if they were there for the restaurant or other businesses nearby. When we walked in, there was one person sitting at the bar. We asked if we could sit there, and the bartender (don't remember her name) was very pleasant and welcoming. She thanked us for coming in, and when I mentioned I found the place on Yelp, she explained that everything is made fresh to order. They have an excellent selection of craft drinks on the menu, the assortment of cocktails and wines that look very good. My wife ordered an iced tea, and I had the Jimmy Red Old Fashioned. The drink looked fantastic, and she took her time carefully measuring each ingredient. That's how cocktails are supposed to be made balanced and flavorful, not just tasting like straight liquor. If I wanted that, I'd just order bourbon neat. For lunch, my wife ordered the meatloaf with collard greens and roasted potatoes. I had already decided on the chicken pot pie after seeing it online. I did find it a little strange they don't offer mashed potatoes as a side with meatloaf, that would've made it a home run in my opinion. When the food arrived, everything looked excellent. The pot pie was larger than I expected compared to the pictures, and the meatloaf was a generous portion as well. After the first bite, I can honestly say it was one of the best chicken pot pies I've had loaded with tender chicken, carrots, onions, celery, and a rich, flavorful gravy. And the pastry crust? The BEST I've ever had. It was big enough that I had leftovers for dinner. My wife's meatloaf was tender and flavorful, and the collard greens were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The roasted potatoes were just okay again, mashed would've put it over the top but that's just personal preference. She also had plenty leftovers for dinner. The food was great, the décor was nicely done, and the service was excellent. If this place were closer to home, it would definitely be a regular spot for us. We need something like this down in Calvert County. Overall, if you're looking for a great meal and well-crafted drinks, Betty Lou's is absolutely worth the drive even if you live a little ways away.

We visited for the first time last night, Friday June 12,2026 @ 8pm. Based on all of the great…read morereviews I thought we were in for a treat. We were sat pretty quickly & our waitress was great. But half way through she handed us over to the bartender, who just seemed inconvenienced that we were there. My husband had just finished a beer when she took over (which was in a can, not a tap beer), she asked if he wanted another, he said yes, and brought some draught beer that definitely wasn't what he was drinking. We are very easy going, so that wasn't even the end of the world. But she wasn't very friendly so we just went with it. The food. We ordered rockfish bites for an app, chicken pot pie, bacon wrapped shrimp & Mac & cheese. I will say, everything came out quickly. Rockfish bites: Not only were they bland & salt-less, but not all of them were cooked all the way through. The bacon-wrapped shrimp were ok, but cold in spots. The chicken pot pie: This is the reason I came. Certainly you can't mess this up, seeing how my favorite pot pie is from KFC. My standards aren't that high. I wish I could add a photo to a low review. I've never seen the inside of a pot pie that was dark gray. It didn't look appetizing at all, but it's a pot pie so I'm not basing anything on appearance. Once I took a bite I realized that it was gray because there was SO MUCH ground thyme in it. Like they dumped a whole jar in there. It wasn't even edible. The Mac & cheese was really good, I wish I had just ordered that. Before you reply that we should have said something, we already felt like we were an inconvenience to the bartender & she didn't even care enough to serve the same beer that was originally ordered. We didn't even want to deal with her. So we chalked it up as a loss. Of over $100. This place is so cute, we really loved the ambiance & wanted to love the food. We definitely won't be back, but I don't think it's going to be around much longer anyway.
