The food is always great (combining two visit reviews)! We both ordered an appetizer the calamari and corn bread. As an entree we ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans and spinach. While the food is great the service was even better...very long story short I dropped my card holder on the floor or seat... It was turned in! Thank you honest person!! I was a bit frantic...trying to retrace my steps but they had it. The GM or Manager was so kind when we returned they came to the table personally as we decided to dine in ... This is a nice place to go for lunch. The vibe is nice not very loud and there are plenty of seating that give you some privacy. When we went the service was good. We ordered fish and chips, salmon and chicken pot pie all the dishes came out hot. Fish & chips - chips were seasoned with old bay, the fish had a nice crispy batter, but the fish was a little to soft for my taste. Chicken pot pie - came in a skillet with a nice pie crust on it, the filling was good but need a little more gravey in it. The salmon was really good. It was a nice overall experience. The food and drinks are good. Only thing to nitpick was the table service. Finally made it here after I've been saying I wanted to come here for about a year. Nice upscale intimate restaurant. You are greeted by live music as soon as you walk in. You can sit at the bar or regular table or booth. Only thing that I personally didn't like was the very low lighting inside. My drunk choice was an old fashion. Very strong drink but good. Entree was the steak frites. Didn't come out like I have seen at previous restaurants where it was already cut up for you. You have to cut it yourself. Steak was decent. Had a lovely dinner here last night with 3 friends! We had the crab dip which was very yummy- the only thing I would recommend is to have more bread on the side. Full house with adequate staffing!! Large shareable portions but the dishes are hot or miss for taste. Certain nights the have live music coupled with the low lights creates a nice atmosphere for a romantic date night. The staff is friendly and will attempt to correct any problems. I generally order the same thing every time I go. This time I opted for the steak salad cooked medium rare. The steak was well done. They tried twice. I should've stuck with the ahi tuna salad which is my go to dish. The cornbread never fail always a winner. The monkeybread is good too. The burger is ok like any other burger, and the pasta is good as well. The meatloaf is ok. The half roasted chicken is juicy, the green beans are good and the ribs are good. Well it's time to update my review here. It's been years since I last dined in. I used to frequent this restaurant alot for takeaway. My favorite has always been the salmon. Oh and the desserts are mouthwatering. This time we had the Brownie Sundae. The desserts are definitely enough to share. Our server name was Adam. He was very efficient. He checked on us regularly. We weren't sure what to expect; thought it was more of a Chili's or Benigan's style but it was more upscale than that. Atmosphere was nice. They had a 3 piece jazz combo in the foyer. I would have thought a nice place (nicer than Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse?) would give you some rolls or a salad as a starter, but not here. The lunch menu is limited and the only steak option was steak frites (what is that?) I thought this was a steak place for some reason. The food came out and was ok. Nothing was "delicious". It was fairly bland except for the skin on the chicken. Prices were decent considering the times we're in. But I felt like I should have enjoyed it more for $67 for two people. 4 hours layover at BWI, I texted my bestie while in flight and she scooped me from the airport and we headed here for some cocktails and convo. My kids took me to this particular Copper Canyon for Mother's Day. Being Mother's Day it was packed so fortunately we had reservations. We were seated at our reservation time and despite it being busy we didn't have to wait too long for our waitress. It was a typical copper canyon, nicely decorated but dark. I had fish and spinach. The live music and the somewhat dim lighting creates a great mood for a date and raised my expectations a bit for a fine dining experience. The waitress recommended the Rattlesnake Pasta which is only mildly spicy but very delicious and filling. I was tempted by the trout and perhaps I'll try that next time but the pasta was out of my norm. I got the lamb lollies as an appetizer and while they were good, they weren't great. It was slightly overcooked, chewy, and perhaps a bit underwhelming. However was well plated as seen in the photos. My partner was really set on the tuna salad. It's a really big portion and the salad itself is honestly really good. However, the tuna tasted off. I couldn't tell if it was old or thawed too quickly or going bad, but bad fish is typically the only way I get food poisoning. So we both passed on the fish, but still ate the salad. The key lime pie was an absolute delight! Too often I ask for key lime pie and I get cheesecake with some green syrup sprinkled on. The key lime pie here was probably the only food iten that was truly high quality. Served as a large portion and a great tasting whipped cream on top. I honestly would come here just for dessert (for that one item). It's been a very long time since I had a key lime pie that good. The crust isn't the typical graham cracker crust though, it's a sort of nut crust so if you have not allergies be warned. The server seemed new, but she was kind, earnest, and attentive. A manager did come by to check on us, but really didn't seem like she wanted to be there. One of those that ask, but don't really want to listen, lol. Anyone can have an off day though. Hidden in plain sight. I've been by the mall numerous times and somehow this never caught my eye. In exploring locals list I saw this place and wanted to give it a try. Based on pictures I wanted to try the trout and the tuna seared salad. Swayed by my waitress we changed the trout to the pasta. I was disappointed in the seared tuna, I felt if I had more than the one bite my tummy would regret it later. Not fresh to say the least. However the salad itself was delightful. The dressing and crispy add ins and sliced avocado was a nice touch. I tried to swap the protein, but they didn't offer that option. The pasta was ok. I would skip it in the future though. Mostly because it was just not my preference. I like more punchy flavors. The size of everything was generous. Added bonus all items came out quickly. Don't expect rolls or anything to kick off the service, but also everything comes out quickly so not a big deal. We tried a special and it was another dish I was ok with. This reminds me of a cross between the casual aspect of Applebee's, but lighting and setting of Mortons. So for casual come here since Applebee's doesn't offer music live. For more upscale your favorite steakhouse would serve you well. Ending on a sweet note the keylime dessert was enough to split for three. Nutty crust so if you have allergies, share that with your waitress! This may be a one and done for me, but not mad I gave it a go. Live music was a really nice touch. I write a lot of reviews, and I rarely find myself leaving bad ones--but our experience at Copper Canyon Grill was so disappointing that I couldn't let it slide. We started with the cornbread, which was dry, crumbly, and somehow managed to taste like absolutely nothing. My mother ordered the marinated filet salad, asked for the steak medium, and received an overcooked, chewy mess that she hated and didn't finish. My father and I both ordered the catfish. I swapped the sides for green beans, he swapped for potatoes--but it didn't matter. The catfish was greasy, soggy, and deeply unappetizing. To add insult to injury, we were given coleslaw that we didn't order and assumed was part of the meal--until we saw the bill after leaving and realized we'd been charged for two sides of it. Neither was touched. Dalmar, our server, was inattentive and never clarified the coleslaw or followed up to check how things were going. It felt like she was just tossing plates at the table without care. The only person at the table who enjoyed their food was my boyfriend, who ordered the rotisserie chicken. Everyone else left hungry and frustrated. We paid over $100 for a meal that only one person could eat. This was a total waste of money, time, and calories. Copper Canyon Grill is not worth it--poor service, overpriced, and flavorless food. I won't be back. read more

Came out medium rare and was "fixed" by overcooking that same filet to a strong medium well. The good Had a side of one crab cake and that was pretty good. Also the fries were good if you like them thin and crunchy, and the mashed potatoes were really good.
