    Baby burgers with veggies

I stopped in for lunch before my flight on 6/11/26. I was promptly greeted and provided a menu. I ordered the burger sliders with veggies on the side. I thought the menu said that the burgers would come with fried onions but they did not. Everything tasted great and it was a perfect, quick meal before hopping on the plane.

Nice spot to dine before flight. I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the food items. The American Favorite: i chose scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries with caramelized onions, buttermilk biscuit....let me say everything was delicious. The way the biscuit was soft and fell apart was a testament to how good it was. The Guava-mint ginger ale was phenomenal!!! They got us settled and the food was quickly prepared without issue. It has been a while since I've had great service at an airport restaurant.

Late review ... came here during Spring Break travel and right after the TSA line debacles. We had to wait a little bit to get inside, it was early in the morning. I had a burger and my husband and daughter had breakfast dishes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was cute inside and the food was pretty good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is busy! The line may seem long, but it moves quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Each booth has a jukebox that takes quarters only a true diner experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the crab cake platter and everything was delicious, though the tartar sauce was a bit sweeter than I personally like. Overall, it's a great spot to dine if you have a long layover, just keep in mind that service might be a little slower than usual to accommodate the large crowds.

My flight was late, so after going through TSA, this restaurant was right in front of me. I could eat so I popped in to grab some brunch. Although I was seated immediately, It took quite some time for a server to come and introduce themselves to me. I had actually contemplated leaving, when one showed up. I ordered pancakes, eggs and asked her which was the best meat choice. She said bacon so that's what I ordered. Pancakes were not good at all and were a little...... not sure how to explain them, but difficult to cut; so a little tough. There was one good thing they were served with a bottle of warm syrup. However, the pancakes would not absorb the syrup. It just rolled off. The bacon was good, but greasy and I asked for eggs scrambled soft and they were close so I didn't send them back. I ate them. Suffice it to say I would not return, because I was not impressed. I did not take... oh I think I took one picture.

. I was honestly excited when I saw a Silver Diner inside the Baltimore Airport because I had eaten twice at the Harbor location in Oxon Hill, MD during vacation and absolutely loved it there. The Harbor location delivered flavorful food, buttery melt-in-your-mouth pancakes, excellent brunch options, and an overall experience that made me intentionally return a second time. Unfortunately, the airport location was a complete disappointment and nowhere near the same quality. The menu options were limited, there was no turkey bacon available, the food arrived cold, and everything lacked flavor. The onions were not caramelized at all, and even the pancakes tasted plain and uninspired compared to the Harbor location. What stood out most was the inconsistency between locations. As someone with a culinary and food service background, it was obvious there are no true standardized recipes or quality controls being followed. It honestly felt like the Harbor location has chefs behind the line while the airport location simply has cooks preparing food as quickly as possible. The service itself was still good and the staff was polite, which is the reason for the second star. But overall, what started as excitement quickly turned into disappointment. Same restaurant name, completely different experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was packed at 7 am on Monday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was good. She was very pleasant and friendly. This restaurant has the farm to table concept. I ordered the Power Breakfast: Egg whites topped with cremini mushrooms, spinach, roasted tomatoes, feta, turkey bacon, fresh strawberries and fruit, whole wheat toast. Delicious. A great way to start the morning and travel.

Traffic cones put up after nine. It was open when we walked in at 8:30. Too late, Silver Diner.

My wife and often fly Southwest. That being the case, we were making a connection in Baltimore on May 31st. Since we had a two hour layover, we thought to have dinner at the Silver Diner, an establishment we often patronize. Since we saw no "Seat Yourself" or "Wait for Hostess" sign, we walked in and started to take a table. The bartender leaned over and said, "Those tables are no longer available." Okay, no worries. I asked her if a hostess was available to seat us then. She said no. Then I said, "So, we're supposed to just guess then?" She just laughed and said nothing. So, I told my wife, "We're not eating here." This happened at about 8:30. At a little after nine, I saw two traffic cones. Too late, Silver Diner. While you'll stay in business, I'm sure, you'll never see us again. UPDATE: Rob from Customer Relations contacted me in a very timely fashion. I appreciate the stand-up response.

Diner Notes Local Mid-Atlantic chain of restaurants that's been in operation for nearly forty years (ca. 1989), and the currently operate 23 restaurants in the NJ, MD, VA, & DC areas. They're known for their classic American fare using seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients from small, mom-and-pop purveyors. We arrived at this BWI location after a red-eye flight** from Cali and were exhausted and starving. The Good: *I wish I could recall our server's name (wasn't on the receipt fwiw) but she was an older black lady and she was terrific. *Prices were actually fairly reasonable for an airport restaurant. *Crab Omelette was delicious, and I really enjoyed the corn that went with the crab very well. Interesting combo I've never tried before. *Carissa enjoyed her Power Breakfast, which looked more like a salad than a scramble to me, but hey whatever. The Meh: *[[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a jukebox at the table, but either I was completely out of it (very possible) or they didn't work properly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Ugly: *I don't know why, but I desperately wanted a beer after that long red-eye flight across the country but got turned down because it "wasn't after six a.m. yet." *pbbbbt* I thought this was America, BROTHERRRRR???!!! 0_O Conclusion: Good breakfast, decent prices, and friendly service. Recommended. **side note: if you can ever avoid doing a red-eye, then seriously don't do it. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend.

We were flying out of the airport on an early morning flight and decided to stop here for some breakfast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a very big diner so they can accommodate a lot of people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hostess was quick with a lot of energy. The menu had a lot of standard breakfast items. I went with the Denver omelet. It had ham, cheese, onions and green peppers. It was a very big omelet. It also came with a biscuit and either home fries or a fruit cup. I went with the home fries because they came with caramelized onions. My husband got pancakes, eggs and bacon. We both enjoyed our meals.

Sat the bar which is self-sitting. I didn't order any alcoholic beverages. I ordered the crab cake platter which was about $35. It was very good and the Cole Slaw mix had corn it in; sounds odd but it was good! Service was decent and [[HIGHLIGHT]]restaurant was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Quick and friendly service. Needed some food after spending a little over 2 hours in the security line. Our order was for a couple of burgers and an omelette. The burgers were just average but the omelette was well made. Usually a fan of Silver Diner but the airport pricing didn't match for the quality of the burgers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can be a busy place with lots of airport traffic so I recommend asking for your bill when your entrees arrive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We decided to go for a big meal prior to our flight across the country, and were SO happy we chose Silver Diner in BWI. First off, our waitress Siobhan was awesome. She was patient and super helpful. We each decided on the hickory smokehouse cheddar burger with sweet potato fries on the side. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the fries were amazing- and how fun Siobhan brought out all the sauces to try! We had a great time. I also got a sundae to go and it was delicious. Highly recommend! Well definitely pop back in here next time we fly out of BWI.

It doesn't look like it. The diner is near the gates and after the security check.

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

SHUT THE FLUFF UP! SO GOOOOD!!!…read more We were in Baltimore with a few hours to spare in the morning, so what to do?!? First thing that comes to mind is... crab for breakfast! Ok yelp, show me watcha gat!!! Oh, AND Open Early! Unfortunately, we have just a few options pop up (Wha?!? REALLY?!? It's Baltimore, aren't they famous for crab?!?), so we choose to hit Blue Moon Cafe! Yelp directions are on point and only street parking from what we can see. We brave the brisk chilly breeze of early May to get to the cafe... BRRRR!!! Inside motif has a dark theme to it and small patronage area. Per the lovely Nicki who greeted us, Blue has been on Food Network a few times... DDD, Best Things I Ever Ate & Destination FOOD... so settin' the bar HIGH from the start! Ok, okay I dig the confidence!! Menu is via QR code but Nicki, becuz she's fun, excitedly announces the recs to the newbies, which are Sweet Baby Jesus & Cap'n Crunch French Toast. Thanks for the heads up! Sweet Baby has lump Crab in the dish so that's a confident YES! for that, but I spy something more appealing than Cap'n Crunch... Let's EAT! SWEET BABY JESUS!: Wifey and I wanted crab and this was Blue's big gun! So YES! To The Dish! It may appear as a simple Hash Brown dish but it is so much GLORIOUS than that! To start, Hash browns are browned & crisped perfectly and then the angel's touch happens... lump crab (generous portion) with Old Bay Seasoning, fresh diced tomatoes, melty cheese, 2 over Medium eggs and homemade Hollandaise Sauce. HOLEY MOLEY! DEEE-LISH! Generous crab serving allows you to have crab with EVERY bite of this dish! Mmmmm :) Love the ooey gooey stretchy cheese! Love the runny eggs! And that Hollandaise?!?! LEGIT! This heavenly dish deserves all the hype! The only drawback was the dish got cold fast because of the cold weather outside I assume. By the time I finished my order, and got to helping Wifey, not as WOWzers compared to when it first dropped on our table. Now we know... eat fast when it's cold outside. lol SHUT THE FLUFF UP! FRENCH TOAST: Once I read "peanut butter" in its ingredients, no way I was passing this up! Buh Bye fan fave Cap'n Crunch, maybe next time lol. Officially, menu "says" it's a Pretzel encrusted French Toast, layered with chunky peanut butter, marshmallow fluff and Chocolate drizzle... allegedly. The chocolate drizzle was not present when the plate landed but generous melty smooth peanut butter completely covered the top of the marshmallow fluff. Sliced Granny Smith apples and thin pretzels also topped the dish, with a powdered sugar drizzle over the entire plate. I asked for extra peanut butter on the side just because no one ever puts enough for my liking lol. And whattya know?!? This newest iteration of the dish was FABULOUS! Did they run out of stuff? Who cares! The synergy these items had with each other just made an amazing bite each and every time. BOMB-alicious!!! I don't really like marshmallow but it wasn't a hindrance here. I devoured the entire thing. Compliments to the chef! ;) VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! Definitely worth a visit and a return visit, as well! If it's cold outside, focus on eating not chit chatting lol ENJOY! :)

My husband and I recently dined at Blue Moon Cafe in Fells Point, Baltimore, and were disappointed…read moreby our experience. The issue began when my husband politely asked a question about a menu item because it appeared to be spelled "browns" rather than "hash browns." He simply wanted clarification regarding what the item was. The server asked him for context, and he explained that he was referring to the item as it appeared on the menu. She then replied, "Oh, now I have context. That's a hash brown." My husband explained that because of the way it was written, he wasn't sure what it meant and was only asking a question before ordering. At that point, the server's tone became noticeably louder, and she responded, "Well, I only work here. I didn't write the menu." We found this response unnecessarily defensive and dismissive. At no point was my husband criticizing the server or correcting her. He was simply trying to understand a menu item. Shortly afterward, a different server began assisting our table, which gave us the impression that the original server was upset by the interaction. When my husband placed his order, he specifically requested that the restaurant's "animal sauce" be served on the side. The menu does not explain what animal sauce is, so he wanted to try it separately before putting it on his meal. When the food arrived, the dish was completely covered in the sauce rather than having it on the side as requested. Afterward, we learned that the sauce is a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise. My husband does not eat mayonnaise and ketchup on eggs, which is exactly why he requested the sauce on the side. Unfortunately, because of the uncomfortable interaction earlier, he did not feel comfortable asking for the dish to be corrected and simply tried to eat around it. The meal was not inexpensive, and because the sauce had been poured over most of the food, he was unable to enjoy it. Approximately 80% of his meal was left uneaten. We understand that mistakes happen and that restaurant environments can be busy. However, customers should be able to ask questions about menu items and make simple requests without feeling uncomfortable or concerned about how those requests will be received. Description of waitress: Caucasian Middle aged Heavy set Extremely loud voice Rude ( nice/nasty) We wanted to share this feedback because the interaction negatively impacted our dining experience and left us feeling unwelcome. We hope this feedback is received in the spirit intended so that future guests feel comfortable asking questions and making requests without concern.
