I took my car (2010 Ford Focus) to Martini's for the first time yesterday (8/13/2020). Neither my car or me had ever been to this garage before. I didn't have an appointment. I called and explained that my A/C wasn't working and the employees at Valvoline (on Harrison) told me the compressor didn't have any pressure and wouldn't hold a charge. The person from Martini's said if that is true, it'd be $1000+ to fix the A/C (which clearly would not have been worth it on a 10 yr old car). But the Martini's employee said they'd have a look for themselves to be sure that was in fact what was wrong with the car. At 4:10 (they closed at 5) I asked if I needed an appointment or if I could stop by. He told me I could stop by now and they'd check the compressor for me. I showed up in 10 minutes and they immediately attended to me and my car (with no appointment in place). They ended up discovering that the A/C compressor had half a charge and they could add freon and see if they could fully charge it. In about 20 minutes they had it charged and my A/C was working again (it hadn't worked in roughly 6 months). It was only $112 to fix after initially being told it would be $1,000+. I can not be more happy with the service and kindness I received by the staff at Martini's. I went in last minute to get something inspected and left with the whole problem fixed for 10% of the original price. I wish I knew their names so I could give them personal shoutouts but I didn't catch any of the employees names. I hope one of them sees this because I can't thank them enough for their dedication and service. Martini's is definitely my new mechanic for all of my future auto needs! read more

Never again will I take any vehicle here!! So I hadn't been living in Cincinnati long and every time I drove anywhere of course I would notice businesses. Where to eat, where to drink, where to buy liquor and where to get my car serviced. Now if you noticed I like to drink so what better place (I thought) to take my car than Martinis Service Center. Their parking lot always had cars in it, the garages were always full and they have been in the neighborhood for 30yrs. 30 years you must be doing something right but they did me totally wrong. I noticed that I was having trouble steering my car, I just couldn't keep it in the lane......NO.....not because I had been drinking. I knew what the problem was because I had the same trouble about a year before just on the opposite side. So I called Martini's and asked if they had time to get me in. They said that they did and could get me in, in a couple of days. So I dropped my car off the next day after work and left the keys. 3 days went by and my car hadn't moved. 4 days......5 days....6 days. So now I'm pissed, I called them and asked when they were going to get it in, and that I noticed that it hadn't moved in almost a week. They said the next day. Guess what? That's right, still sitting there. I called again and asked if I just needed to come get it and take it somewhere else. "no no no, we're going to get it in tomorrow" Drive by and........yep it's in the garage. FINALLY!!!!!! 1 day goes by and they called and said that the car is ready. All they said it needed was breaks. Now I was pretty sure that I knew better than that. (Read on and you'll find out that I did know better) I asked them about the suspension and the ball joints. they said no they were fine, all I needed was breaks. Ok, $325 dollars later......... Fast forward 1 month, I'm driving down a country road middle of nowhere Indiana, Saturday evening, car full of groceries, I turn a corner and BOOM!!!! ball joint breaks......MOTHER!!!!!!!!! So another $400 later a fantastic shop in Indiana got my car in on Monday and I picked it up Tuesday! Never again will I even think about taking my car to Martini's. I first took my car to Martini's in October 2020 to repair the brakes (they were squeaky and had never been replaced in the years I've had the car). They initially replaced my front brakes, but didn't check the back. So I returned a week later because my back brakes were squeaking. They replaced them. Fast forward a couple days, my back brakes started making a grinding noise. I brought it back to Martini's, they said it was some loose part and that they fixed it, but once I drove away, it was still making the same noise. I sought a second opinion and they informed me that the noise was due to how the brakes had been replaced. Since I was under warranty through Martini's, I returned my car to them and they finally fixed it. Fast forward a few weeks later (November/December 2020), my back brakes started squeaking. I have since returned 3 times with the same issue, Martini's "fixes" it, but my brakes are still squeaking (March 2021). Luckily my brakes are under warranty through Martini's and I haven't had to pay additional fees for all of these visits. Despite their friendly demeanor -- because they are all very kind people -- my car is still having the same issue and has been for over three months now. At this point I have decided that I must seek a different repair shop to move forward with my car. read more

I've been using Martini's for the past three years (since I moved to Cincinnati) and found them to be honest and hard working. The owner seems to go above and beyond to make sure the job gets done right. Last summer, I had a batter go out on my car at 4pm on a Friday (and I was leaving for vacation the next day). I was able to get it to Martini's with a jump and the owner spent an hour changing the battery even though he had somewhere to be at six. The one downfall is that they aren't always punctual. I don't take my car here for oil changes, because I know it would take all day, whereas I can get it done in an hour at Tire Discounters. But for the big jobs, I've been confident that not only will they do the job right, but I won't get swindled. read more

Same as another review here, I was very unhappy with the service received. I dropped off my car in mid-march because my car was hit while parked. I got (and am still getting) the run around by this mechanic. I was sent here on recommendation from another customer of theirs. Needless to say, both that customer and I are very unhappy with the service received. It is now mid-May and my estimate has still not been completed. I work every day and have struggled for transportation each time. I do not have the funds to replace my car without receiving its value and to keep having it towed to other locations. Their other customer has their estimate done in 5 days. They have however had trouble with getting other maintenance done at this auto shop before. I would never recommend this mechanic because of this experience. I am not even sure that my claim will still be valid because of the longevity they have taken to get my estimate. read more
