I've dropped off a few things here before. They are definitely overpriced but I still assumed they knew what they were doing. I was wrong. They ruined my suit jacket with a hot iron. They claimed they didn't iron it but I don't know how else they would've melted the fabric. They said it was the seams. It's not. So disappointed in the lack of communication. This is the first time I've used them and had expected a call to pickup on the day discussed. I tried calling with no answer and I never received a call. The next day, Saturday open 8-4, I go to pickup for my already paid item and they were closed 2 hours early with a note on the door as Monday is a holiday. Now I have to wait until they open on Tuesday to pickup my comforter. I paid over price of another company as they said they would have it done on Friday. Now that extra money paid is for nothing. I've been using this cleaner without exception since 1999. Not because they are special or even good, but because I am loyal and a creature of habit. They are ungodly expensive, destroy buttons like mad and commonly miss stains, but I kind of always enjoyed Clara. Yesterday I brought in more business shirts for cleaning, one of which hadn't been worn because they had missed two glaringly big soy sauce stains. She spent the next 5 minutes arguing that she would NOT do a redo as it had to have been missed by "some other cleaner". Then insulted me and called me a liar. I will only take my dry cleaning to the Broomfield/Westminster Martinizing Store even if there are many closer dry cleaners to where I live. They miraculously removed some gnarley stains from my favorite jacket that I thought was a total loss. The nice lady working the counter always says,"We'll do our best" to remove any stains from the clothing I bring in--I'm a bit of a slob--and the garment always comes back looking brand-sparkin' new. And not that it's a big deal to me, but Martinizing usually has my clothes ready in a day or two. They've earned my loyalty for life. read more

I took a queen size Afghan that I had crocheted to be cleaned. It was bulky yarn but I was surprised the charge was $50.00. It was not overly dirty. Next time I will call around for a better price. I had 5 pairs of jeans heavy starch and 6 shirts regular starch - it cost $59.69 - the heavy starch was what I would consider medium and the shirt were light starch. The shirts weren't done well as one collar wasn't smooth and a blouse had a wrinkle or press line in the front. I will not be returning: my husband wasn't happy because he was able to get a better price at a hotel and the starch was the way he had asked. I asked the lady each cost and she just wanted my credit card to swipe. I needed a coat cleaned for a funeral. It was a last minute request. They took me right away. and made a really dirty wrinkled long wool coat that was at the bottom of a storage box look brand new. WIthout asking me, they sewed on missing buttons and they even matched. I was so appreciative. I cannot say enough about this dry cleaner. Thank you! read more

I received the wrong items back from the dry cleaner (men's clothes rather than women's), and when I called to rectify the situation, I was told that I was wrong and was lying. The woman that works the counter is very friendly and polite. I have always been satisfied with their dry cleaning services. These things being said, HOLY CRAP are they expensive! $60 to take in the waist line on TWO pairs of jeans! On top of that, the alteration was not really done that well. $160 to dry clean three sweaters, two dresses, and have two buttons altered on one of the dresses. I will probably bring more cloths here in the future because I trust the quality of their dry cleaning. Still, I wonder sometimes how dry cleaners sleep at night with prices like these! read more

I dropped off a brand new suit, worn once, and was returned to me with two small rips on the sleeve of the coat. When I returned carrying the coat, the older lady working there suddenly forgot my name and denied they had damaged the coat. They never damage any clothes, I was told. Absolutely terrible service. I took in seven very fine silk pieces and they charged a ridiculous amount and didn't even get ANY of the stains out. I do not recommend at all. When I went here they were so rude and not helpful at all I had wrinkles in my shirt and she told me she didn't think it would come out but of course she was willing to let me leave it there and spend money! I wish I could choose 0 stars. Besides being extremely expensive , I was treated horribly for asking how my bill became $80. Let me preface that I started the question with- I am very pleased and not upset but I was wondering if you could please explain how my bill was over $80? And this older lady with a thick accent instantly became angry and started raising her voice and said , I gave you the receipt go look at it. I said, I'm sorry I only have this receipt with the total and she reached by the register and grabbed my tickets and slammed each one down one at a time, she got thru 3 items and said its on the recpt I gave you. Go look at it. Its all there , I gave you this. I went to my car and she only stapled 1 receipt which was just for my dresses, the 3 sweaters had no recpt. I came back in with my clothes and said I dont understand why you are so angry with me. I wasn't being rude. I have been polite , I never even raised my voice and Im still not, and I wasn't even upset when I asked you how the items were $80.92. She added the two bottom totals and said very loudly and rudely look, see $80.92 its right. I said I never doubted it wasn't right I just wanted to know what each item cost. She had nothing to say and just stared at me with her hands on her hips. I said I have no idea why you are so upset, as a customer you treated me completely disrespectful when I asked for an explanation. I didnt do anything for you to be this rude to me. She smiled and said OK, have a good day and she was being serious not sarcastic, acting as if the last 3 minutes didn't exist. I swear I have never in my life been yelled and treated like an idiot for nicely asking a question. There is no pricing up anywhere in the store. I beg anyone do not go there. There are 3 other dry cleaning places less than 1.5 miles of this one. The pricing doesn't justify the customer service especially if you ask a question about your total.
