I am very particular about my cuts and they did a solid job overall. My fade wasn't perfect but it worked. He used clippers on the top so I could get it even all over, many other barbers won't do this. He didn't have a straight razor so for my neck he used one of those multi blade manual razors, it worked but I prefer a single blade. All this for $25!!!!!!! Even if it wasn't the best haircut out there in this area you can't beat the price. My review reflects the price. I paid using cashapp, I am not sure if they take credit cards.

Based on reviews and photos I saw on instagram, I decided that the barber Ozzy was the right fit. I was not disappointed. Upon entering, the shop was clean and very well decorated. It had a great color scheme and the music they played was great. The other barbers were in the zone taking care of their customers. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment but exactly at 6 my son was already on the chair. I showed Ozzy the way I wanted my sons hair to be done and he went to work. Ozzy took his time to perfect the look. As time went on, the smile on my son's face radiated. I could see him looking at himself through all the mirrors and his confidence skyrocketed. My son gave me a thumbs up multiple times throughout his time on the chair. Ozzy let my son pick out a bag of chips at the end which I thought was super nice! I could see that my son was comfortable. Instead of a greeting, I was met with rudeness, aggression, and unprofessionalism because I used the name provided by the booking platform, Square Go. Which he referred to as his "Government name". Despite explaining and showing him where his name appeared, Lamar did not apologize or acknowledge his behavior but turned & continued cutting. The experience left me feeling highly disrespected and anxious, exceeding the worst I could have possibly imagined. I had tried a few places since relocating from the shangri-la of Philadelphia; none of which were that bad (but not great either), all of which were expensive. I mean like 2-3x what I paid in the 215th. $70 for a clipper cut...come on, fam. So, I was still on the lookout for the Bethesdan home base. I saw Sinatra's situated right across the street from one of my Bethesda favs, The Writer's Center, and thought I'd give that a try next. It was a good call. The space is clean, and professionally put together. Check. I was getting ye ol' tighten up from "Q". Star Trek reference, I think not. Super chill. Super professional. Didn't rush through the job, and it was (and is) an excellent cut. With a men's haircut you also get a wash...from a most expert washer. It was more like a dang head massage...awesome. (Btw, tip your washer). And if you need a cherry on top, they were spinning some old school hip-hop. All of this brought me to $50 (plus tip). Sinatra's, for me, is an absolute no brainer. Very COVID-safe; Tony took extra care to follow all of the rules, including disinfectant, masking and everything one would expect. (& full disclosure--I waited till both my shots kicked in before going back to him.) Been going to Tony for many, many years, and am grateful for the best haircut in town at the best price.... Since so may of us are working from home, presenting the best possible Zoom-appearance is important, and Tony's contribution to that is no small matter. As previous reviews have noted, just let him roll with his thoughts on the world--I'll take 30 minutes of that over the blathering talking heads on cable anytime. (Hey, this is DC; wouldn't surprise me if some of those gasbags get their material from Tony anyway). Seriously, a small but important step towards normalcy AND another way to support a small business during these tough times. Get your shot, then go get your haircut !
