I dropped in to AM Cutz for an evaluation and/or possible cut and had such a nice talk with Aisha. Lucky for me, she was available and immediately went to work on my do. She was personable, accommodative and professional. Services were executed expediently and professionally. She took the time to do an excellent cut and shape-up for only $25! It was evident that she was a highly skilled barber. Kudos to her - the finished product was a first class makeover.

Since moving to Baltimore I've been searching for a barber to cut my hair so I don't have to drive back to PG County. I've dabbled at a few spots and even settled on a spot. THEN, the woman cutting my hair disappeared! Anyway, here I am at Davis Barber, specifically for WaWa. I found her on my search and finally came for a cut. I hate having to going through the process of detailing what I want and hoping it's not bad. I mean, hair does grow back, but who wants to go through all that. But, WaWa had it under control. I found a pic of my hair after a cut. She asked a few questions, and BAM! It was done. I must admit, I was surprised for one by her understanding of what I wanted and 2) the fact that I wasn't in that chair for an hour while she tried to figure it out. That's what you call SKILL. And, when she was done I asked for a few modifications and......... I gotta say, I'M IMPRESSED. My partner is impressed as well. When she says she's been cutting hair for 15 years, and after personally experiencing her skills, I believe her. The shop is old school! It was like stepping back in time. They even had a few OLD, OLD vending machines. Vintage chairs and all. Very laid back. And older neighborhood, but you can park out front. I'll be back!

I will happily drive from Towson early in the morning to meet Kevin. He is the best. His demeanor is professional yet I had the most fun when we collaborated together to give me a cut that wasn't "tradtional." I know I only have a small area of hair on the sides and back to work with and he got that and hooked me right up. I'm definitely returning. I'm not going to mention any names in particular but he's always there, I'm sure you know him, I think he sits in the second chair. My last and final visit was not very good at all, very unprofessional, and I feel violated. I always make appointments, but I have to wait 30 minutes while he cuts someone's hair during the time, I made an appointment for, it never fails and when I'm in his chair he spends more time texting and talking than cutting my hair then rushes to finish towards the end. My last visit with him he walked off in the middle of my haircut, he didn't bother to excuse himself and didn't say anything when he came back either, then pushed me back in my seat when I leaned forward. I feel violated, the only place on my body he should be touching is my head area, not on my chest or anywhere else, I'm a paying customer, not a project to be walked away from to do whatever and finish they're ready. I'm not going to say every barber at Pikasso Kutz are the same, the other barbers that are professional with their customers. My brother was going there too before I told him what happened, he didn't like that at all, and I don't blame him.

If you find it, you're in for a real treat. The place has a great 1950s feel, and has barbers who know how to cut hair without asking for instructions. I've gotten my hair cut here twice, and honestly I couldn't be happier with the quality. The price is also no more than than a SuperCuts or like, with the experience being incomparable. I highly recommend this barber shop for any man, and if you bring your son (or father) they even give you both a discount. Makes getting my hair cut a real pleasure.
