My experience was extremely disappointing. Despite my severe neck and shoulder injuries, Mr. Blitz never referred me to appropriate specialists or a pain management physician. Instead, he instructed me to continue treating with the doctors selected by the insurance company. The only referral he made was to a neurologist, which did not address my primary injuries. Before my deposition, I repeatedly requested a meeting to prprepare, but he refused. During the deposition, he argued with me, raised his voice in front of opposing counsel, and failed to object to improper questions. The situation became so uncomfortable that even opposing counsel remarked that I should reconsider proceeding if I disagreed with my own attorney. After the deposition, the court reporter commented that she had never seen an attorney treat a client that way. Mr. Blitz told me I had little chance of success and that my case was worth no more than $3000-$4,000. I realized that he was not the right attorney and sought a second opinion and retained another workers' compensation firm in Santa Ana, They immediately referred me to the appropriate specialists, my treatment finally began, and after several years of fighting, my case settled for dramatically more than Mr. Blitz had estimated it was worth. As someone who works in the legal field and has experience with personal injury matters, I can say this was the worst representation I have ever seen. I found Mr. Blitz to be unresponsive, unprepared, and lacking the knowledge necessary to effectively handle my workers' compensation case. I cannot recommend Mr. Blitz for workers' compensation representation.
