Let me start this review by saying I did not plan to review last year after my experience but after receiving a bill a year and a half later... I felt it was necessary. I saw Dr. Johnson about 10 times starting January of 2015 through April. The care and doctor were fine, nothing overly amazing but was a temporary fix for my back and neck problem. The doctor was professional but just not what I needed for care. When I stopped going there, I had paid my last bill with my health spending account for the 2015 year. The front office staff was never friendly and also could not figure out my insurance. To be honest, I never knew how much I would pay each visit because it changed so frequently. I even called my insurance to make sure it was taken care of as the front staff never got it finalized. For an office that revolves around health and care, I was extremely surprised with the poor service. Since my last visit, I have found a new chiropractor who fits my needs much better. I had nearly forgotten about the chiropractic center until I received a bill for over $100 this august. Shocked is an understatement. It is now August 2016 and I am just now receiving a bill for care I received early 2015. How poorly organized can an office be to just now send the bill. The worst part, the bill said, "these charges were applied towards insurance, and your account is past due." Are you kidding? I would have appreciated a call explaining why this is just now being sent to me. After looking over the bill, I called to confirm this was not a mistake. The first person to answer said she could not help me as Sue was the only billing person and she only works 8-12. When I finally talked to Sue and asked for an explanation. She literally said this bill had fallen through the cracks but they were audited and found it. I was embarrassed for the doctor. This seemed crazy but they still made me pay. Since it's now 2016, I also could not use my HSA because it's a bill from last year. Please beware before committing to this center. The staff is clearly unorganized, unprofessional and I will warn anyone I know about how I was treated. read more

I've been going to Dr. Johnson for about 2 years now. I like to know what he is doing and why. He has explained everything clearly. Sometimes I have to go back, because the process takes longer than one trip. And he was right. Recently I had a guest from out of town and he twisted his back so bad that he could hardly walk. I got him in to Dr Johnson the day I called. Awesome! Our guest had never been to a chiropractor, so he was a little leary. He couldn't even stand up. When he left the office, he was able to walk, but still leaning over. We went back after two days and Dr Johnson readjusted his back again. Sometimes stuff doesn't just go back into place right away. I have never gone to a chiropractor before. Should have but I didn't! I was getting to place it was painful to get out of bed in morning. I didn't sleep great because of my back. I started with Dr. Johnson on the recommendation of a friend. I really didn't think there was any help for my neck issues and figured I'd have to live with making allowances the rest of my life. While I was seeing him for the neck my back started to act up. I follwed his advice and visited 2 or three times a week. Visits rarely lasted 10 minutes and I was out the door. It took a while for the neck but I now have full freedom of motion and no pain. The back issues were gone in a month.
