Now that he has expanded h his business to Franklin Square...seems like customer service has gone down the toilet. He is not on site anymore and won't speak to customers even if there is a disagreement. There is a young guy behind the desk that seems to be running things now. I had an unfortunate encounter with him where he lied about calling me to approve services to my vehicle that I did not approve. I just wanted my brakes and rotors changed and that was confirmed when I dropped off the vehicle...only to be forced to pay for an extra tire rotation ($50 -while tires were already taken off already for brake job!) and coolant top off ($20) that was not pre approved (I had the tires already rotated that same morning at the dealership with an oil change!!). I understand that miscommunications can happen, but don't lie and tell me you called me to approve the extra services!! I have no tolerance for dishonesty!! PLEASE AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!!

They have always been honest and fair to me, my family and friends that I have suggested to go their way. I use to live closer and take 'Sally the Saturn' there for years. I moved more south shore and purchased a new vehicle and maybe only popped in there once...but they still remembered me/Sally and genuinely ask about us. I introduced them to the new low profile beast 'Vanessa the Veloster', after a blow out. Yah that's right I name my cars...maybe a bit cheesy, but when you buy cars they become part of your family with their own unique personality...well at least for me :) Back to Russ and Mavis of Franklin Avenue/Franklin Square and how amazing they are. Before going on a road trip to AC at end of year I decided probably best to drop oil and check the tires. Right?!?...and thank goodness I did. When I came in I was greeted with a big smile and Russ calling out to all in the shop "Vanessa the Veloster is here." Sweet he still remembers me and my darling vehicles name. :) Let's just say Russ called out an issue that definitely had to be addressed before going on a road trip. I should've taken that as a warning.
