Showed up there with a busted coolant hose on an old ML truck at closing time. They were busy but took the time to look and diagnose the issue immediately. Fixed it the next day. Comunicated well through out the day. Price was very fair. They work on german high performance and race cars and seem to really know their stuff. Since I wrote this I've purchased a 2015 BMW 325. JVR checked it for me and have done all services since. I had them do a tune to add more power as well. As before I can't say enough about them. Jonathan is a stand up guy. I went down to lower my mustang and told him i was a little nervous about how low my driveway is. He told me to get some photos for me witch i did. After showing him he recommended me not to lower my car because it could rip my exhaust right off. These guys are honest people and instead of making a few hundred off me he gave me good advice. I brought my 2017 Audi R8 for a special wheel alignment since they have the right machine to do alignments on very low super cars. I called the day before, they told me to come first thing in the am the very next day. Soon as I got there they (carefully) got my car on the lift and started the process. They are very friendly, extremely knowledgeable in performance cars, professional, and most importantly very careful with the car. read more

Went here for a second opinion on my car. I was told I needed a break job that was well over a thousand dollars at another repair shop bc it needed everything under the sun. Jonathan Vasquez at three nicks auto was beyond helpful and fix everything I needed for a fraction of the price. Turns out i didn't need half of what the other place was trying to sell me. Thank you so much Jonathan for offering to drive over to my house to help out with a flat tire. He was so genuine, he told me not to drive to the auto shop because it can damage my wheel. So him and another sweet gentleman drove to me and inflated my tire. They then drove my car back to the auto shop and had it ready so fast. This was so sweet of them to do for me. I was recommended by a friend to Three Nicks. I have a coupe of Jeeps which all have custom work so I needed a local professional repair shop that also has experience with these vehicle types. This may be the best recommendation I have had in a long time. Jonathan and Nick are experts in their field and have the best repairman in the area. They are professional, courteous, experienced and honest. Every time I leave with my vehicle I know there is no doubt in any of the work wether it is custom work or OE replacement. This shop was recommended to me by my cousin and mutual friends. My first experience with Jonathan is what you would expect from a business that's built on reputation and through word of mouth. It's not easy to these days to use the word genuine when describing a business or a person but from my short experience with him, I would have to say it's an appropriate description. Although I gave him short notice, he offered to let me bring my car in, checked it over, corrected the alignment which was way off, gave me an honest assessment of what I needed. When I offered to compensate him for the work, he simply said, 'we'll take care of it later when you come in for the suspension work.' That's someone putting their trust in you. It's a rare quality to find but it's a genuine one. More importantly however, is his knowledge of cars, especially BMWs. It's not because he didn't charge me that I am giving this review, rather it's the way in which he conducted himself, his overall knowledge, patience, and understanding. My 2003 Santa Fe had a brake fluid leakage problem in the Port Washington area. I do not live in the neighborhood and knew no reliable mechanic. I found Three Nicks on the yelp site. I spoke to the service person about looking at the car and had it towed there. The repair mechanic told me it was a eroded brake line, but that to get at the line, the gas tank would have to be dropped and another part moved. He said that the problem was that there was major rust under the car and that it would be difficult to estimate what problems he might encounter. He actually apologized for not being able to give an estimate of cost prior to the work and actually counseled me against doing the work. The car has significant rust underneath, as i knew from previous work. I told him to go ahead and see what he would encounter but to stop at around $500 labor if the problem became too difficult. He did the work without any additional difficulty. In addition, an engine check light was illuminated when I brought the car in, but when he reset the codes, that disappeared. He drove the car a number of times to make sure the light didn't come back on. Overall, the total cost was not cheap, but was reasonable for the work performed (mostly labor). I appreciated the honesty and the explanations that were given with respect to the work performed and potential difficulties. I highly recommend this repair facility. read more
