Went to Marty's to get replacement speakers for my Tacoma OEM's. He showed me what I needed and installed 6 new ones. I asked him if I needed an amp and he said, "Try it out and if you feel it's not to your standards, we can put one in later". Few months later, I felt it was not enough power, brought it in to install the amp, and now it's perfect for what I needed. I chose Marty's car audio because it had five stars. I brought my vintage Lexus Convertible from Washington state to Montana to have a Bluetooth audio and backup camera installed. I wasn't informed that if I changed to have a CD player it needed to be tethered to have Apple CarPlay. They willingly swapped out the unit for just Bluetooth and backup camera. However on my drive back to Washington several of the speakers in the car didn't work. Marty told me that I needed to change out some speakers however the driver side door speaker is intermittent. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately I'm 500 miles away so I can't take it back. I'm very disappointed. The rule is make sure everything works before you leave. And test it multiple times. read more

Marty's Car Audio is hands down one of the best. They go above and beyond to ensure that everything is correct. From the beginning they worked with me to help me find the best set up for my car. They did my remote start system and my sound system upgrade. They work after hours to try and work out some kinks. There was a shipment delay for my rear speakers and they even went out of their way to come and get my car from work to put those speakers in when they came in the following week since I could not get rides set up. I had a remote car started installed in my car at Marty's. It worked great. Then I went to use it one day and it didn't work. I called Marty's and Max told me to bring it in at my convenience and they would take a look at it. Great. Well it just so happened that the very next day I was at a gas station getting gas and so was Max. We recognized each other and told him how funny it was that I just called him yesterday about my remote car starter not working. Max asked me if he could take a look at something real quick. I said sure go for it. He check under my dash , flipped a switch( I think) told me to try it. I didand it started right up. Haha it was just a switch. My last reviw was not so good, however not only did Jacob one of the employees get my truck in very first thing the next morning, he also got it fixed in less than 30 minutes. He was very professional about it and also expressed the same frustrations I had about the situation, he cared and you can tell. Then just today the owner called me to apologize! Wow I was amazed by that. It just seems on that day I got unlucky and the tech was just not having a good day or something. Marty's is where it's at. If you want a new stereo, car starter, or anything foo-foo car, try here first. They are passionate about what they do AND they will stand by their work. We've had two car-starters installed here. One of them didn't work so well, not because of them, but because our Jetta is a persnickety German car with issues. They tried and tried and tried to get that thing to work, and the Jetta just wouldn't have it. BUT at no extra cost to us. SO bottomline is that they will do everything to get the job done and they won't charge you extra or turn you away. Marty's (meaning Max and Lucas) installed a Viper in our Honda Pilot (2008) and it works perfectly, no issues. The Jetta just didn't like the Viper and so we had to get a downgrade Astro. But that works great! Take-home message. Try Marty's. They will do everything they can to make sure your install and purchase works well, without charging you more. They are the epitome of great customer service and without breaking the bank. Their locale and facade is humble, but they are the real deal. The Yelp map doesn't take you to the right place and I've tried and tried to get Yelp to change it, but for whatever reason, it's not working. Had an alarm on my business van for a couple years that was installed in another state. The siren stopped working. Called Marty's as they carry Viper products and spoke to Max. He said come in so he can do a quick test. Verified it was siren. Quickly installed new siren and even soldered connections ( my preferred method as well ). First of all let me say that I am an ex-installer, and managed a car stereo installation shop for three years, so this review is not from just someone with no experience or training. I called the other stereo place in town first before calling Marty because I had driven by their location and they had a large building. I came to find out while on the phone with them that the large building came with large cost, and I was not about to subsidize that enormous shop with my family's stereo and car electronics needs. After contacting Max at Marty's car stereo I felt very comfortable because he was not only knowledgeable, he was polite and thorough. I spoke with the second person at the business named Lucas, and he was also polite knowledgeable and thorough. at no point did I ever feel like I was dealing with sleazy sales guys were just attempting to sell me more crap that I did not need. And sadly this is a very common thing in the car audio business. but when dealing with Marty's car audio, all I've ever received was professional advice through recommendation that met my exact needs, and support far after the sale. In the last four years I have had max and Lucas install three remote starters, two amp, the head unit, A rear camera, and a number of other things that just happened to pop up as we continue to improve the cars. We had one of the cars go dead and had a problem with the remote starter, and both Max and Lucas were happy to jump on the phone and walk me through a fix. Recently, the problem came up again due to a dead battery, and when I pulled in to ask for help, Max just had Lucas replace apart right away without even attempting to do any analysis. He just wanted us to be happy so he immediately replace the piece that could be problematic. He did not hand me a bill, he did not ask for additional work,he just did the right thing, and I immediately wanted to return the favor with a purchase. Since I did not have my truck with me, I figured I should at least leave a review since I have not done that yet and come back and buy something when I have my truck with me. So mostly I'm reviewing the service here because it's so fantastic and service in the car audio game is so difficult to find, well at least good quality service is hard-to-find, and these guys deserve huge respect.as for the prices, they're great. The prices are not so high that you want to end up searching online somewhere, and they're not so low that you wonder if you're buying stolen crap, for used stuff. Obviously this review is on a little long but, it is so needed when somebody does such an amazing job running a business like Max and Lucas do. My only advice would be to get scheduled as soon as possible because people who are quality professional usually have the pretty busy schedule, and these guys definitely do. read more

I purchased a satellite radio and had Marty install it several years ago. I could not get it to power on and was told that it had to do with the wiring. I made an appointment with Marty and ended up being late, but Marty came out to my car immediately. He tested the power and it was not the problem, but to be sure, he brought out another satellite radio and it powered right up. I was going to have him install it (and he would have sold the product), but he told me to call and see if I could get the radio replaced for free. He definitely was not out to cheat me and if I ever have car audio work, I will drive from wherever I am on the west coast to get it done at Marty's Car Audio. He could not have been any more honest with me (and if he would have sold me the satellite radio, I never would have known better), the service was top rate and I thought the cost for the installation several years ago was fair.
