Been here a few times and would recommend coming in for your RC adventure. If you are a beginner or a pro, these guys will hook you up with the right car/gear. Wish there was one in the Valley. But I am still willing to drive this far to service and drool over some nice cars.

Great place to be a kid again. Everything you want from bodies parts and rtrs they have it. Just don't tell the wife

Great Customer service. I was in a pinch to get my crawler running and Matt help me out with the quickness. Good looking out buddy

For years I wanted to dive into tabletop Warhammer, but I didn't have friends who played and I'm naturally a little shy in situations like that. It honestly took me a long time to finally walk through the door at the Thousand Oaks Games Workshop... and I'm so glad I did. The owner, Jordan, is truly one of the kindest and most welcoming people you'll meet. He clearly loves the hobby and genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great experience, whether you're brand new or a longtime player. The store itself is fantastic. They have dedicated demo stations where you can: * learn how to play the game * learn how to paint your first miniatures That alone makes getting started way less intimidating. The selection is excellent too, including a full range of Citadel paints. And if there's ever something they don't have in stock, there's an in-store ordering station where you can get exactly what you need directly from Games Workshop. They also have two large terrain tables set up for hobby meetups and games, and there's clearly a strong community forming around the shop. Honestly, this place is special. If you're on the fence about starting Warhammer like I was, just stop in and say hello. Jordan and the team will have you hooked in no time. Highly recommend!

We had such a disappointing experience here. My husband took my daughter on a date to Sky Zone, and…read morethey had one simple plan afterward--to stop by a card shop, spend $50, and come home to open everything together. Something fun and special. They walked into this shop, and the man working there immediately barked at my daughter that she wasn't allowed in without shoes. To be clear, she had just come from Sky Zone Thousand Oaks and was still wearing her gripper socks, with her shoes literally in her hand. So yes, totally fair rule--but the delivery was unnecessary. Instead of just kindly asking her to put her shoes on, he was abrupt and harsh enough that she looked like she was about to cry. That was enough for them--they turned around and left without buying anything. It's a shame, because places like this should be encouraging kids to enjoy the hobby, not making them feel unwelcome over something that could have been handled in two seconds with a little kindness. We'll be taking our business somewhere that actually makes the experience fun.

The Thursday commander scene is awesome always packed with regulars and new people. Store ownership is generally extremely kind - Eric is a champ and the other employees are great as well. It runs a lot of events for mtg, 40k, AoS, D&D, etc. Really solid selection. Only downside is some of the MTG regulars. As you'd expect, most game stores attract a certain demographic of people that often have superiority complexes within their hobby, so you end up with lots of the older guys being condescending, rude, arrogant, and generally unlikable about their children's card games at events like Friday Night Magic (such as community all-star Jeff H). Also a lot of them smell really bad, it's becoming a serious issue at larger events. The 40K community is fantastic, though and so is the D&D and other misc games. Great store, highly recommend.

They are hard-ish to find, they are in the industrial area in the west end of Camarillo. and you need to call ahead if you have specific parts that you need-because during Covid they closed off their warehouse, so you have to order by items now instead of browsing the aisles. They don't stock much of anything relating to ICs or transistors, but you'll find a selection of chassis, and hardware items to build up your prototypes. T One downside is that since they have so few walk-in customers, you can't get in to the parts area without waiting for one of the phone support people to break free and walk you over to the parts area. Another down side is that much of their shelf stock is very old. Spray cans of solvent may be half-empty from can leaks, and electrolytic aren't necessary going to be fresh. But with components like fans, relays, transformers, resistors, etc. that won't matter. They also carry hand tools, tool cases, heat-shrink, solder, connectors, adapters, plugs... just a lot of other stuff to create and repair electronic projects. Their pricing is not particularly cheap. The people working there (mostly in cubicles doing phone orders) are very nice.
