Just to manage expectations, expect no frills when dining here. Seats are limited; looks like an old cafeteria. In fact, the place badly needs a renovation even just a new paint job. Also, there is no restroom here; you have to go all the way to the supermarket's restroom. My all-time favorite here is the Uni Sashimi; it's only Php180! Super fresh too! The only downside is that it's the first to run out. You also must order any of their Sushi Sets (mostly under Php200), Ebi Tempura and Beef Misono. Wash it all down with their Red Iced Tea! :)

The Ebi Tempura was abit on the small side, but very well cooked. The beef mizuno was well cooked and seasoned! My only complaint would have to be diners that don't know how to work a grill. The grills at Sambo are not smokeless, so it is a tad bit annoying to be seated next to people that are burning their meat and tuna.

For the rice bowls, try the Gyudon and mix the egg yolk in well as it tastes well mixed in the rice.
