Headed out with a friend, Sunday night of Labor Day weekend, taking the 10 to Highland park from the west side. In the fast lane, and his front tire absolutely explodes. We thankfully managed to make our way over to the shoulder. Calling tire shops, tow trucks, nobody's open, and the ones that are are 40 min away. Then I find Marvin on Yelp. He's 10 minutes away and can help us out. He arrives SO fast, gets our car towed, doesn't upcharge. He's so pleasant, calm and nice. Tells us about his upcoming trip to visit his mom. Seriously y'all, do not sleep on Marvin. Brings us to the ~only~ tire place open on a Sunday night, which happens to be 5 min away, gets the car unloaded and then ensures we get a reasonable price for the tires, even negotiates with the tire shop on our behalf. I came back from an international trip to a dead car inside my apartment garage. I was already jet lagged and miserable, and a dead car added to the dread. My car would not start, so I knew that I either had to jumpstart it or get it towed to the nearest auto repair shop. Marvin's Towing explained that first they would send someone to jumpstart my car, and if that didn't work, they would send the tow car right after. The service worker came 10 minutes after my call, talk about quick service! He quickly figured out the problem and turned on the car so I could bring it to the closest auto shop. Thank god I did not have to get it towed from an underground garage. Such a relief to know that Marvin's Towing company is there if I ever have an issue like this again. I was calling around car services in the area to check prices for help jump starting an engine and called this place because reviews are praising him for having reasonable prices. Also keep in mind I am less than a mile from his home base. Lo and behold he quotes me for $125 to jump a car "because it's night (8pm)" haha ok... Save your money and buy some jumper cables Reply to owner: I was told it would be $75 during the day, and because it was 8pm (which I want to stress is not late at all lol) it'd be $125. My comment still stands, there are other services around the area (who were further away) and would do it for $45 read more

I had a tough problem: I needed my classic car to leave my home and arrive at a museum at exactly 3:00 pm.
