I had Marvis Garage Doors with Julian Romero come out and replace the bottom seal on my double and single garage doors on 6/17/2026. Julian & his son were quick & efficient. They also fixed the motor & remote for the single door. I was very happy with them and the work they did. 8/20/2026 I called for Julian to come out and check the seal as it leaked water in the garage worse than the old one. when I hosed off the driveway. He said he would come out on 8/24/2026 to take a look at it. Waited all day and he never showed, nor called. I waited a week and called again, leaving a message to call me back. No call back. I called again on 8/31/2026 and left another message. Again, no call back. Third time I called on 9/3/2026 and left another message. Again, no call back!! On one hand he does excellent work, but on the other hand his follow through is terrible. There is no excuse for not calling a customer back, even to tell you there is nothing he can do. I am so disappointed with Julian for not having the common courtesy to follow through with coming out or calling me back. For that reason, I will not be using him again. read more

Do you like saving $1125? Do you like saving 6 months of your time? This past week I contacted five different garage door companies near my home. One company (which surprisingly had five stars!) said he would replace it with an aluminum door for $1300. It would include haul away, installation, cutting the door to make it fit better, and replacing the wooden frame. I decided not to overpay with this company. A second company (which my HOA referred me to) said that it would be a six month waiting period because of a supply shortage. The other three companies did not get back to me. He screwed in not one but three new bolts to ensure the safety of myself and my family. 7. To protect my family further, he reinforced both sides of the garage door with steel crossbars so that the bolts would not get stripped again. 8. All of his procedures fixed the door to open/close more smoothly than before it broke! 9. He was honest, friendly, and knowledgeable with his 30+ years experience. 10. He finished in under one hour. I spoke to and received quotes from multiple places on Yelp for a broken spring and I decided to go ahead with Julian for a few reasons: 1. He was fast to respond and knew right away that we were dealing with custom springs from the picture that I posted on Yelp. He didn't try to lure me in by giving me a lower estimate and change the price later like some of the others. He stuck by his price and didn't try to offer me a "discount" after the estimate. His price was fair and better than others to begin with. 2. He was punctual and efficient. Marvis Garage Door principal Julian replaced our old tilt-up garage door with a new insulated roll up door with special low clearance and a new remote opener system.
