I was one of those people who didn't see the point of using a travel agent. Everything I need to…read moreknow, and every price that could possibly exist, can be found online. In 2014, why did I need some middleman to book things for me, when I can control it all myself? Plus, not to toot my own horn, but I am very good at researching things online, and I am known for my organizational skills. I was asked to organize a cruise trip for my husband's frequent-cruising family, and quickly realized that planning travel with a large group -- with all the various personalities and individual "needs" (i.e. drama) is more trouble that one would imagine. So I decided to consider using an agent. I reached out to a few agents from well-ranked agencies, and wasn't terribly impressed, or convinced that they would even do as good a job as I could do myself. Then I talked to Jeremy from Cruise Vacations, Int. He's very friendly and has all those customer service skills you would expect from someone who makes their living in sales, but that's not what convinced me to work with him. It was very clear to me, from the very beginning, that HE KNEW HIS SH*T. I even asked him a few "test" questions to make sure he knew what he was talking about -- he was very impressive. HIs profile on the Virtuoso site says he's a second-generation travel agent. That probably explains a lot. Jeremy has handled every curve ball the family has thrown at him -- and there have been plenty -- like a pro. As the group leader, he keeps my informed about everything, which I like (i.e. I am a control freak). In fact, one of the older members of the family contacted me to say Jeremy was the best travel agent they had ever worked with. But the thing that I've been most impressed by -- and indeed, the thing that has convinced me of the value of travel agents for even individual travel -- is that Jeremy has, on two occasions, gone to bat for me with the Cruise Line. The cruise line made two distinct errors on my personal reservation - one in which they were charging me too much taxes, and the other in which they weren't giving me a discount to which I was entitled. Jeremy fought with them -- for several hours over the course of several days -- to get these things fixed. In the case of the taxes, it was only a $3 difference, but Jeremy knew that it was really, REALLY bothering me, so he didn't rest until it was fixed. I would have neither the time, nor the clout, to go up against the cruise line on my own. I'd probably just be out of luck had I booked on my own. But having a GOOD agent, like Jeremy, who is willing to do what it takes to make sure that his clients are happy, made all the difference. I don't often do 5 star reviews, but I highly recommend Jeremy Hall at Cruise Vacations, International.

The employee that helped me was very friendly and social. Also highly professional and good looking too. Lol. I really can't comment on their auto service dept since I was only their for photos. They also have a on-site notary also which is a major plus so it's a one-stop shop. I love being a member of AAA. Whenever you provide awesome customer service. You have a customer for life. Highly professional employees. All the travel documentation you'll ever need and good ventilation in the place. Definitely my go to AAA local branch. The general crowd was mainly middle class people. Google review summary I had the most horrible experience and…read moream very disappointed because I have been going here for YEARS to have my car serviced. I took thr car in for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. Since then, my car has not been the same. I brought it back a month after the service because it was still pulling. They looked at it, made an adjustment, and sent me on my way. The wheel was tight and the car made a squealing sound whenever I turned the wheel. After a couple weeks, it only got worse and so I brought it back again. This time, they said I had the struts replaced and the work was not done properly. I had that work done almost 2 years ago and the AAA service had worked on my car at least 3 times since then but this is the first time mentioning that. It also came with a $3,795 estimate to fix it. After giving it some thought, it did not make sense that a service that I had almost 2 years ago would be causing issues now. I took it to a mechanic who showed me how misaligned my car was. He sent me to a tire shop because my 2 front tires were completely ruined. Both that mechanic AND the person at the tire shop said that I needed an alignment and that was the cause of all the issues. Mind you, I just had an alignment a few months ago and the problem was only getting progressively worse. So now, because of the terrible work done at AAA, I now need 2 new tires AND ANOTHER alignment. Never again. I have learned my lesson and am now in the hole another $800. I also need to mention that I purchased 4 brand new tires. When I got the alignment at AAA, I also got a tire rotation. Whatever they did to my car, it completely destroyed the front 2 tires. I got all 4 at the same time. The guy at the tire place said the rear tires were in excellent condition. Had this been a long standing issue, all the tires would have needed to be replaced but after they worked on my car, whatever they did, completely destroyed the front 2 tires to the point where the tire guy didn't think it was even safe for me to drive it home! I am beyond frustrated and mad that this is now costing me so much more money.

Recently, appointments have been an issue when doing it online. The online system doesn't account for staffing, like not having the diagnostic checked on Saturdays. When I rescheduled for a Tuesday, I checked voicemail to find another canceled appointment. I listened to that cancellation after checking in. Thankfully, I was squeezed in and my car was checked. I did see others who had appointments turned away. The online appointment system needs to be remedied so that it's efficient and accurate.

I was told there were no appointments available until Friday. When I got home, I went online and was able to schedule an appointment for tomorrow at 5:00 PM. Approximately 10 minutes later, the manager called me and said they could not honor the appointment because their system had supposedly been down since last Tuesday and the 5:00 PM time slot was already filled. I questioned how they knew I had just scheduled an appointment for 5:00 PM if their system had been down since last Tuesday. I then contacted AAA directly and filed a complaint. I was told that AAA customer service could not make the local store do anything about the situation. This isn't simply about not getting an appointment. It's about the conflicting information I was given and the way the situation was handled. I am sharing this so other AAA members can make an informed decision. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this location for car repairs. If you need your vehicle serviced, I strongly suggest taking your business somewhere else.
