- dog paradise!!! - It's insane how long I've live here without ever really visited this park other than the two times that I was here for cirque du soleil lol. First of all, this park is HUGE! We walked around the center or the park and we passed by 3 playgrounds, one huge dog park and a garden. There was also a climbing area and they have ropes there for that too. It doesn't look too fun since it was burning hot. The dog park though .. OMG it's amazing! There are tons of little bushes for doggies to pee and jump around... Or play hide and seek. I love seeing all the doggies run around without a leash. I think it's just so wonderful and they all look super happy. Two huge doggies came to play with us and I got to pat them. They are super fluffy!!! I can't even tell the breed but they are huge with long fur! My daughter was in a carrier on me and she was a bit nervous when the doggies sniffied her feet, but overall she was fine with it. I also think this is also for dog owners to meet and mingle... Dog friends anyone? The garden is mostly for people to plant stuff, so it wasn't too interesting. There was also a performance area with a ticket booth, and several spots for picnic. Ps. Pay the $1 parking fee, or worry about the possible fine when you are spending time at the park. read more

If giganticness were a thing then this park would get full stars. However as the giganticness is in many cases quite empty then I've reduced the stars. Much of the giganticness is used for events, which I can't rate the park itself on; also at least from the sign when you enter, you have to pay to park here (everywhere? I don't know) which is a huge thumbs down from me. Pay at a park? No thank you. There's a cool/cute farm thingee on the right when you drive in with a structure that looks like a windmill without the rudder. There's an also cool totem pole near the entrance. After that it's....a lot of grass, walk and bike paths, great to take your dog I'd say - including an off leash section. There's a lot to offer and incentive to get to know the park better, which I aspire to do. In spite of the giganticness the (south?) entry off Lake Sammamish Pkway is fairly nondescript so just make sure you obey your gps lol. read more

This park is BUSY on the weekend. They definitely have so many different elements here, including a huge off leash dog park, climbing wall, athletic fields, and so much more. If you want a more peaceful park experience, I don't feel like this is it because of how many people there are and just the driving in and out, with all the connecting roads and parking lots is a little chaotic. It's $1 to park and there are kiosks. If you head toward the dog park parking lot, make sure you stop at the parking kiosk off to the side before get there because I didn't see any kiosks in the parking lot. The trails near the Heron Loop Pier are nice, the Heron Loop trail and the River trail. The best part is watching the ducks swim at the pier. read more

The Audubon Bird Loop trail takes you through a wide variety of bird habitats. There's a mix of old concrete trail signs and newer signs to help interpret the landscape around the trail. One thing to note is that part of the trail goes through the off leash area for dogs, so if you are nervous around dogs, just be aware. All of the dogs I saw seemed pretty well-behaved. I also stopped by the Marymoor R/C club's airfield, as I saw them flying planes from the trail. As I was unaccompanied, I could only stand behind the fence for safety reasons, but I got a lot of great views of the planes. Parking is $1 all day, as a deterrent for drivers from cutting through the park during times of traffic congestion. The toilet situation seems to be a lot of porta-potties. They were pretty well maintained though! read more

Marymoor Park is like Disneyland for dogs--a massive off-leash area where pups can roam free, meet other dogs, and have the time of their lives. It's equally great for humans, too--plenty of space to walk, meet fellow dog lovers, and get your steps in. Marymoor park has been around since i can remember. It has evolved of the years between the dog park, dog wash, concert venue and sports fields. The grounds are kept very well and maintains the family park feel. From the dog view, what a great place with a large off leash area that includes a swimming area and a great place to wash off the mud at the Pet Wash Express. Many miles of walking trails to walk. The kids have soccer practice and games here with grass and turf fields available. Although they do charge for parking, it is only a dollar and multi pass packs are available as well as monthly and quarterly passes. Parking can be a challenge near the turf soccer fields on practice nights. And for those attempting to use the park as a bypass to go between the Weat side to the East side of the park, there is usually someone at the toll booth to collect the dollar fee. Ooverall this is one of the biggest and best parks on the Eastside. read more

I didn't even know about Marymoor Park in Redmond until this year (2023). Nor was I aware that a part of the park was a outdoor concert venue going by the name Marymoor Live. This summer has proved to be a very active concert season for me as bands that haven't toured in many years are resulting in me going to five different concerts this summer. Part of it too I think is musicians and their fans feel safe to travel and go out again this side of covid. That many shows may be a record for me and certainly I haven't been to this many live shows in a single summer since being a bright eyed youth of the 1990's if there was a summer that is a contender. Anyway no longer finding local and free newspapers avaliable and when I do they are being fairly useless in the department of upcoming concert announcements I now rely on Facebook and the concert app Songkick for what shows are on the horizon for my area. I've been dying to see the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs for years but they were on hiatus for quite a while. I saw that they were touring this summer and were doing a show at Marymoor Live. I didn't hesitate in buying a ticket but as I am going to more shows this year I experienced sticker shock on how much concert tickets have risen in cost. Well after purchasing the ticket I awaited for the show with anxious anticipation until the date arrived. I have learned to factor in a lot of extra time when going to an unfamiliar place and for directions and heavy traffic. I am so very glad I did because the back up to park in the field next to the venue was considerable and sluggish in pace. It was however fairly well organized. Once I got parked I went to the stage area and really liked how it was all set up. The earth around the stage is shaped like a bowl for that amphitheater feel but smaller and a bit more intimate and all kinds of food vendors along the outer rim of the bowl. I enjoyed the opening act, Perfume Genius and really enjoyed the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs as they didn't disappoint in the slightest and put on a great show! I was very satisfied with the concert experience. Getting out of the parking area was another thing all together. With a whole bunch of parked cars in a field finding my car was a challenge and took me about fifteen minutes to find which from previous and similar situations isn't too bad. Getting out however had no organization and was congested terribly and everyone was crawling out at a snails pace for a considerable amount of time. It's how the place is set up and kind of calls into question how feasible it is to have large events here but it is what it is. If I come back here for another concert I will know to pack extra amounts of patience when it's time to go home. If there was anything to complain about with my concert experience at Marymoor Live it was that part of trying to get out after the show. read more

Marymoor Park is basically the everything park. Want to do something outside? This park has got your back! As you'd expect from anywhere you'd call a park, there's green space with trails and places to sit/picnic. The bird trail loop provides a great look at what nature has to offer here and can be very peaceful. Sports? Oh yes! Soccer, baseball, cricket, Velodrome are all here. Rock climbing if you're feeling festive. Community garden, pet memorial (which needs some TLC), off leash dog park...seriously all the things!!! There's also an amphitheater that's poppin' in the summer months - both for concerts and movie nights. This is one of those places that's actually worth the drive. Parking is $1, which is maybe a little silly, but the park itself is definitely worth it! read more

Compared to other local parks, Marymoor is one of the largest and has the most to offer. Among the acres of land, there are baseball fields, tennis courts, playground areas and miles of pathways. But that's not all! There is also a velodrome (cycle-racing track), a rock climbing wall, stage, community garden and a special area dedicated to a dog park. Prior to the pandemic, this park was a popular venue for outdoor movie nights, concerts and other entertainment. In the Seattle area, when it's a summer day with clear skies, you just have to take advantage of the amazing weather! My friend and I arrived one day around noon and it was surprisingly easy for both of us to find parking on the west side (there are a number of other parking areas as well). For just $1.00, you can spend the entire day at the park until closing. Just be sure to pay at a kiosk which will print out a ticket for you to place on your dashboard. Despite the number of parkgoers that day, there was still a ton of room to accommodate everyone. We laid out a picnic blanket in the grass, enjoyed lunch and had our own space with plenty of open lawn surrounding us. The areas by the windmill and Clise Mansion are perfect for relaxing as they are away from the bustle of the sports fields and offer some shady spots. After lunch, we took a walk from one end of the park to the other and back... it was about three miles total! I admired the foliage and blooms along the way and we also spotted some adorable wildlife frolicking about (baby rabbits, squirrels, birds). It was so nice to see people flying kites, playing frisbee and simply enjoying the day. Particularly around the sports fields, there are restroom facilities, which appear to be generally well kept. They appear somewhat dated, but are otherwise clean. A food truck was also on-site in a prime spot at the main westside parking lot which was super convenient for those attending the sports games. It's easy to spend the entire day here and I'm positive I'll be back before summer ends! read more

We drive from Belltown once a week to attend this park. This is a massive off leash dog area equipped with everything you need, including a swim area, woodsy areas, open areas, doggie bags, restrooms, picnic tables, benches etc. we keep one of our dogs ON LEASH because the fencing does not cover the entire area, and our beagle mix will escape. But dogs with decent enough recall are fine! The dog washing station is in the parking lot along with a barkery and grooming van for anyone who needs it. We stick to using the wash stations and give ours a quick wash before leaving! read more

My dog and I love coming to the marymoor off leash dog park. I always pull up to the parking station on my way in. It's only $1, they take credit card, and it lasts all day long! There's plenty of entrances to the dog park and there's always poopy bags available there for in case you run out. My dog isn't much of a social butterfly so she sticks by me and doesn't really mingle with other dogs. But we always see dogs running around, chasing one another, chasing a ball, jumping into the water. It's really got something for everybody! Love love love Marymoor. Big park that has lost of things to do. I just wish they had prserved more trees. Lots of lawn parts that barely get used but there are also times when a lot of happenings at the same time. Like running races, Cirque du Soleil, parties at the shelters, etc. Brings the community together. It also has a very big dog park with trails and dog beaches along Sammamish River. Very refreshing. We also use another part to fly kites. Parking fee is just $1. Be sure to pay for it. It helps maintaining the park well and also because they will ask for receipt at thr exit. read more

We have been here for: - arts and crafts fair - Cirque du Soleil show - dog park - summer movie in the park We went to the last movie in the park for the summer last night and it was a lot of fun! They do charge $5 for parking and then $5-6 for entrance fee, but I thought it was a great budget friendly date night! (We did blow a bit of cash on the food trucks) but it was still fun seeing everyone bring blankets and chairs, and bunker down for a good old movie (Princess Bride). If you're looking for a easy six plus mile hike on flat terrain, lake and river views, and the bonus of getting a doggie fix, this is a great hike/walk, lots of wildlife, a huge off the leash dog park, that the trail meanders through a few times, lakes views with ducks, geese, and other waterfowl, lots of other birds throughout the walk, a cool former residence mansion with quite a few old established trees, both native and landscape. It's was great to see some giant sequoias and redwoods, growing rather well. Warms my Cali heart to see them here. Definitely suggest early morning walks as the park area is very popular not only with dogs, but quite a few sports fields as well, and a model airplane flying area, lots of action going on! Lived in this region all my life and have never been to this park! Was hoping to find some birds to photograph. Only crows...I fed see a heron or egret in flight, but was not set up to take it photo. The windmill was great to photograph, maybe in the spring it will be more interesting. For now, great place to just hang out and enjoy. read more

This place is massive. I never made it out for any summer movies but we trundled out to go see Cirque. It might have been a big stand up by the climbing wall but it was still fun. Getting in and out get be a bit of a challenge but it's not too bad. Lots of wide open spaces to do things. read more

The best park I have ever been to, and I've been to a lot of parks. There are so many fields here, soccer fields, baseball fields, a massive dog park, playgrounds, a stage! We walked around with two dogs and a baby in a stroller and there was just so much to do and see! We first walked towards the park where they apparently have concerts pre-COVID. That lead us near the dog park where dogs can be off leash and even access the river, which mine did and got super muddy but had so much fun making friends! The cool part is there is a dog washing station which is very cheap and conveniently located at the entrance to the dog park. How cool is that!? Everyones dogs were very well behaved and some dogs (like mine) were leashed but everyone was very responsible which is important because there are A LOT of dogs but A LOT of land to roam. Afterward we plopped down on the grass and enjoyed some snacks. There is a dog food truck (yes you read that right) in the parking lot where you can even get your pups some well deserved treats. And for the humans, a coffee truck next to them. Roam around the parking lots though because on the day I went we found another foodtruck serving gyros! yummm! So hopefully food trucks here are a common thing here. read more

The largest, most epic dog park I've seen in Seattle area, with its own wash station and parking lot. The first park I've ever seen an RC air field!!! Talk about reaching EVERYone in the community! My first time seeing a rookery, full of happy herons and their "wee" babes. Loads of soccer fields, an outdoor concert venue, Baseball Diamond, kids playground, velodrome, there's just SO many fabulous things to do in this park. They even have movie nights and the circus! It's a really lovely park to walk, bike, play, cycle, run, drive through the fog and inhale all the fresh delicious things swirling about the fields while the most epic V formations span the sky overhead. It's well connected to local trails, roads, even walk to the Whole Foods lot if you need to refuel or played too hard--or ran out of pupper treats sharing with all the good boys and girls! read more

This review is specific to the off leash area for dogs. I used to come to the park 30 years ago to fly RC helicopters. After 30 years now I come with two small dogs to roam around. If you have a small dog that pretends to be aggressive when on a leash, this is a great place to teach him the real world is different. I was afraid how my small dogs would behave in the middle of dogs that are 10 times bigger than them so I put them on a leash. They walked and pretended they didn't see big ones. Shortly after I felt comfortable to take them off the leash. The aggressive barking behavior was nowhere to be found. In the wild open space where big shepherds, labs and retrievers run around, they quickly came to realize how small they were. Needless to say, we enjoyed the walk and got to meet some great dogs and people. It is amazing to see how your small dog behaves differently in such an environment. Although they didn't really get to play with other dogs, they learned how to behave. After this visit, I can go for a walk with my dogs in the neighborhood without worrying about them barking. I will surely bring them back to the part on a regular basis. read more

I saw about 50 dogs today. maybe more. big and small dogs everywhere! they were all very well behaved and following their owners. my dogs were able to meet other friendly dogs and roam in the grassy fields! this dog park is fenced, so we felt very safe with our dogs running around. theres also nice small dog bridges which makes the entire dog park seem like a mini trail hike! after coming back home, I can definitely say that both humans and doggos were exhausted! would come here as much as possible, awesome place for your furry friends. Note: $1 for parking. the machine only accept $1 or $5 bills or coins. we drove into the parking lot because we only had a $20 and someone was nice enough to give us their parking pass! the pass lasts all day. super worth it for this amazing off leash dog park! read more

I come here often to play mens soccer on the fields. It's come a long way since being a dirt field. You now have 4 grass turf fields that were laid down a few years back. Ample parking for cars is a positive but one the negative side you have to pay $1 to park and there serious about it. So don't forget to pay the man! Also there toilet facility's for those who are having a moment. I also believe they have some amenities by Subway if you need food. Over all it's a nice place to have available to play soccer. Also during the summer is the MARYMOOR PARK outdoor concert series. Some of the artists I've scene are The Pretenders , Heart, Cheap Trick, Steely Dan and many many more. But they always have first class acts preforming. Im sure you find something to entertain yourself with but make sure you pay to park. Hehehe read more

Marymoor (off-leash) dog park is pretty much Disneyland for doggos. The rest of the park is pretty epic, too... but our dog absolutely loves this place. If we drive anywhere near it, she goes absolutely psycho with anticipation. $1 parking fee gets you so, so much. Also in the park: baseball, cricket, soccer, climbing, RC plane "airport", bike paths, tennis, playgrounds, bike racing, concerts, festivals, and more. Be careful! Their parking meters will eat your money and then not give you a receipt. The jerks running the place will give you a ticket even as they are fixing their broken machine. The parking office is only open 2 days a week for some reason even though they're able to give out tickets everyday. These guys suck, if you go, don't trust them.
