Here's the thing, I like Dr. Clark, but... I came based on recommendations and location and I've…read morefound that I'm not really getting the benefit of the bargain. THE GOOD: Dr. Clark and her NP are SUPER nice. Dr. Clark can be a woman of few words. You do need to probe. I usually have questions and am prepared so this doesn't bother me. I don't find her to be super proactive, though. Her NP is much more bubbly and forthcoming. The office is in a great location with decent parking. Nice waiting room. Nice staff. The rooms are well lit, clean, and have views so you won't be bored while you wait...and wait. THE BAD 1) Wait time. EGREGIOUS. We are usually quite early for our appointment because we come a long way and every single time we have come, it's taken over half an hour to be seen--this is beyond the appointment time, not inclusive. THEN, if they have to do anything, they'll leave for 20 minutes and then come back--I just know they squeezed another patient in during this time. My time matters too and I CANNOT with this. I meet my nanny there with our child and usually my husband comes too. This is three adults giving up most of an afternoon unnecessarily. I find it unconscionably rude. 2) Staffing. They are extremely short staffed. I didn't see a nurse the entire time I was there and, though we made an appointment with Dr. Clark, we were shuttled off onto her NP without even a by-your-leave. 3) Paperwork. My kids have allergies. They are on medications and require forms for school. I sent paperwork in June and had to follow up several times to get it by September when I was told it would be faxed within the week!!! That's really insane! 4) PHONE ETIQUETTE: No one EVER picks up the phone here and you will NEVER get a call back. I don't do ERs and fortunately have plenty of qualified medical professionals in my family, but if I call on a Friday and haven't gotten a call back by the next Wednesday, that's a problem. A call back to ask how the child is and if the situation was resolved is ALWAYS WARRANTED. 5) Prescriptions and refills. My goodness, if you leave a message about a refill, they won't call you back for a week! What if it's a life or death situation people?!? That was the outside of too much. This practice has a lot of work to do. There are a number of other nitpicky things I won't mention except to say that I had high hopes for the practice that have been dashed. I gave several chances, but I think we are back in the market for a new pediatrician.

As there practices are good, hopefully they can change the nature of the office, to me, that plays a part in the overall experience.

However, her care is worth it to me. She's always thorough with any issues and makes sure to order all and any bloodwork or tests needed to assure us that things are ok. That matters to me. They are unorganized. My son needed bloodwork to go to daycare. The first time they lost the bloodwork. We went to get it done a second time and then they mixed the blood with the wrong fluid or something. We are now on to the 3rd visit for the same bloodwork and I'm still waiting for the results a week later. I have been trying to get this done for a month and it has not been a good experience. Nobody wants to make their child suffer by getting pricked multiple times for the same thing. Also due to the delay my son is still not in daycare and it's messing with my work schedule. If u can take your child to another office I would recommend going somewhere else.

She has an easy to use electronic portal and secure messaging service which is a big must for good communication. Since we are in COVID times she wears a mask for her visits, wipes everything down cleanly, washes her hands, etc. And best of all she has been really attentive and caring. We are happy we found her.

My wife made an appointment for 2pm…read more(1/15/22) to have our first wellness check for our newborn , the doctor had to call us and let us know they would be an hour late , we arrived at 2:50pm and were met by a child at the front door .We were told to walk behind the home and enter from the backyard patio by a very young girl without a mask on . Upon entering the "office" ,(actually a basement in a residential home )the "doctor" (also without a mask) told us she was still in her pajamas and needed some time to get ready . I noticed medical records behind the front desk , on the floor . There are no hand sanitizer stations , no paper towel dispensers , general uncleanliness , dirty tile floor, and assorted clutter on window shelves . I wish I had taken photos or video , please DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR . I am appalled by the state of this office and can't believe it's operating legally . This is not a place to take a child for wellness or anyone for that matter. BEWARE

My personal experience with this pediatric office…read more I was a patient at this office as a child, and unfortunately I had several experiences that left me very unhappy with the care I received. One time, my eye became very inflamed and I had what appeared to be a stye. I was never given a clear explanation for what was causing the inflammation. I was told it was essentially an "eye pimple" and that it would go away on its own, and I was not given any medication or other treatment. Another experience was with a clogged ear. Instead of trying a gentler approach first, they used a water flosser in my ear at a very high setting. During the procedure I became extremely dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out. I was still allowed to leave while feeling that way. Later, the pain in my ear became severe enough that I had to return to the office. These experiences are from when I was a patient there, so I can't speak to how the practice is today or how every doctor there practices medicine. I'm simply sharing my personal experience because I remember feeling like my concerns weren't properly addressed, and it affected how I feel about the practice to this day.
